Refugee Resettlement Watch

Comments welcome

Posted by Judy K. Warner on October 29, 2007

We’ve said this before but we want to emphasize it now, that government officials at any level, from UN to State Department to state and local officials, are welcome to comment here, to correct facts we have presented, to take issue with our point of view, to give us new leads on information, or to corroborate what we’ve written.

We’ve published a number of posts recently critical of the UN and the State Department, and would be happy to publish responses. Or you can email us at refugeeresettlementwatch@vigilantfreedom.com.

And of course private citizens’ comments are always welcome too.

  1. Iam a widow ,mother of threeand an asylee from Africa. I have lived in the US for a couple of years to date. I did very well when I first camE. I went to college and aguered college degrees to MA.in different displines. Before I came I had other degrees from other western countries as well as my mother country. Phd in Philosophy, all my academic credentials were evalueted by the world educational centeres and given the same degree equevalent.
I was then assulted seriously out side the apartmentcomplex and ended with multiple head injuries which resulted to seizures, compound fracture of my left knee (the patella) and other helth problems. The state investigation proved the incidense as crime victim , The situation deprived me all human right, diginity and tsa well as mobility. I also lost the right to drive. What follows afterthat was tourturs from the police officers, some of the doctors, social workers which means the asylum protection became a mere dream. My daughter was also treated in the same manner. In the State I live which is MO. in the city of Saint Louis, such abuses are treated as normal to asylees/refugees as we’re told that we dont deceive full protection. This kind of evil exceeded beyond boundries where my name was blocked for employment, so that I can not be able to take care of my children. On top off the health problems they caused, I developed severe depression. I have been fighting the situation for ever, right now I need help with purchasing a car so that I can sruglee with erning a living. I receive some charity assistant which can not even pay for the rent of the two bedroom apartment I live with my edaughter. I have done what every one whould to to stand up after falling down. I dont have any income to pay for a who would help me getting justice…Please put your self into my shooes. hear my cry and have mess on me by providing the assistance. Thankin you in advance.
