Israel is acquiring Palestinian territory? Israel GAVE BACK Gaza, which they had acquired in a war started by the Arabs in 1976. They moved their own people, who had lived in Gaza for decades, out of that territory so the Arabs could have it — free of Jews, as Nazis wanted to be. See, Israel can live with its 20-25 percent Arabs in its population, but Arabs can’t have a single Jew among them. These Israeli Gaza residents left their greenhouse flower businesses, which they had built up over the years. They left them in good condition for the Arabs to take over. An American businessman donated new computers to help the Arabs run the greenhouses.

So what was the first thing the Arabs did? They smashed the greenhouses, computers and all. Then they asked for money from the UN because they were so needy.

These territories you say Israel is “acquiring” were acquired legally in the defensive war of 1967. Under the laws of war, territories acquired in this way are yours. But for peace, Israel gave back the Sinai, a huge piece of land, to Egypt. I’ll bet they’re sorry now. The land that the “international community” including President Obama is making a fuss about now is part of Jerusalem, where Jews have lived for many, many decades, since long before Israel was a country, except for a period where the king of Jordan ethnically cleansed them.

The oldest of Palestinians of today WERE CHILDREN in 1948, BABIES in 1939, nor born in 1920. Whatever happened then was not their doing and is not still being done.

Meanwhile Israel is STILL illegally acquiring Palestinian territory and still killing in order to do it.

What was a civil war escalated by Plan Dalet prior to declaration, became a war waged by a State on a non-state entity the moment Israel became a state. Jewish forces were already OUTSIDE of the extent of Israel’s newly declared sovereignty.

Under the UN Charter, Regional Powers (the Arab States) had a right to try to expel unwanted foreign forces (Israeli) from the non-state entity of Palestine.

“Israel was created by the United Nations”

The UN laid out the guidelines under which either party could, if they wished, unilaterally declare Sovereign Independence. There was no obligation on either party, nor could there be, because INDEPENDENCE is unilateral.

If the UN were to creat a state, it would not be INDEPENDENT of the UN.
Nor was there an article in UNGA Res 181 calling for both parties to co-sign, because it would be against the notions of INDEPENDENCE.
Nor was the INDEPENDENCE of one state DEPENDENT on the other state being INDEPENDENTLY declared, it too would have undermined the notion of INDEPENDENCE.

The Jewish People’s Council ‘created’ Israel by the unilateral Declaration for the Establishment of the State of Israel. Without the declaration, there would be no State of Israel.

The Jewish People’s Council’s Declaration accepted, without reservation, the conditions laid down in UNGA Res 181 “…within frontiers approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations in its Resolution of November 29, 1947″

Although UNGA resolutions are non-binding, they cite, remind and reiterate Law, (all law is binding). They cite, remind and reiterate the UN Charter (also binding once a state becomes a UN Member). They cite Conventions binding on UN Members who have ratified them and they cite binding UNSC Resolutions.

Israel bound itself to International Law and to follow the UN Charter (read the Declaration), by the Declaration for the Establishment of the state of Israel and the subsequent notification to the International Community of States, the MAJORITY of whom recognized Israel on the basis of that notification, over riding the Arab States legal objections. Proof? Israel exists and was accepted into the UN.

At the time of the Israeli declaration, there were already Jewish forces, under the PREEMPTIVE Plan Dalet, outside of the boundaries being declared.

The moment Israel was declared, what was a civil war escalated by the PREEMPTIVE Plan Dalet in the months preceding the Declaration for the Establishment of the State of Israel, became a war by a State (Israel), on a non-state entity (what remained of the non-state entity of Paletine after Israel was delared independent of the non-state entity of Palestine)

Under the UN Charter, Regional Powers have a right and a duty to protect non-state entities from aggression.

The Arab States Declaration on the Invasion of PALESTINE, was submitted to the UNSC. There is no UNSC Resolution condemning the Arab States invasion of PALESTINE. It is customary for the UNSC to condemn transgressions.. see UNSC Resolution 660 (As far as I am aware, the Arab States Declaration on the Invasion of Palestine was the last actual, legitimate, declaration of war)

Israel had just been declared independent of the non-state entity of Palestine = Israel was no longer a part of Palestine.

NONE of the ceasefire/armistice/peace agreements say “in Israel” They say “in Palestine”. The Arab States Declaration on the Invasion of Palestine was accepted by the UNSC as a valid legal basis for the Invasion of PALESTINE. Jewish forces OUTSIDE of Israel’s newly declared boundaries were attacked. There is no UNSC Resolution condemning the Invasion of Palestine. There is no UNSC resolution against ANY Arab State of attacking Israel.

It does not excuse Israel from illegally instituting Israeli civil Law in “territories occupied”
It does not excuse Israel from building illegal infrastructure for illegal settlements for illegal settlers in “territories occupied”
It does not excuse Israel from illegally selling illegally built civilian structures to illegal settlers in illegally annexed “territories occupied” or territories illegally ‘acquired’ by war.

A) Israel didn’t exist until 1948. The Nazis were GONE by 1945. B) The Palestinians of today were CHILDREN in 1945. They were CHILDREN in 1939 when the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was booted out and became the Grand Mufti of nowhere. The were not even born in 1920. (the life expectancy of a Palestine refugee today is 73. In 1920 it was probably about 60)

Neither they or their parents ever voted for the Grand Mufti to represent them. By the time he met Hitler, he represented NO ONE. No Palestinians of today or during WW2 served in Husseini’s force in the Balkans

The leaders of the Arab movements against Israel were connected to the Nazis and learned the art of propaganda well. Then they became clients of the Soviet Union and were trained by the KGB. Much of the history they proclaim was made up out of whole cloth, in the manner of Soviet disinformation. And now almost the whole world has swallowed it, and continues to swallow it.

How odd. Plan Dalet was a preemptive war, no? It began in the months prior to the Declaration of the state of Israel, no? What was a civil war prior to Declaration, became a war waged by a State on a non-state entity immediately Israel was declared and adopted Jewish forces outside of it’s newly declared Sovereignty. Preemptive wars are STARTED BY THE PREEMPTOR. The Arab States, under the UN Charter, as Regional Powers, had a right to protect the non-state entity of Palestine (Israel had just declared itself independent of the non-state entity of Palestine). Which is why you will not find a UNSC Resolution condemning the Arab States Declaration on the Invasion of Palestine.

So what? My relatives weren’t driven out of Judea. They fled the ensuing violence to what was to become Israel. There, they were told they could return. Alas, when Israel was declared it introduced a law forbidding all Israeli citizens & residents (even temporary residents) from entering a hostile entity. Under Jordanian occupation (agreed to by Israel under the armistice), Judea & Samaria, the West Bank/Jordan were hostile entities. They went to Britain rather than stay in Israel, took up British citizenship. Lost all refugee status.

Carlson is justifying the illegal usurping of Palestinians. It’s Hasbara. It doesn’t explain, it tries to justify.
