What Robert putnam has told in his book is Old wine in new bottles,the ones living in diverse communities have for long know this,”even though he finds that in the long run, people do forge new communities and new ties” is a sick joke,as in long term diversity leads to balkanisation and if one puts muslims there then civil war(history is a testament to this),not only refugee’s but any people of two different cultures living in a place is a source of friction i.e us verses them mentality and hence a shortcut to gutter.
