Posted by Ann Corcoran on December 5, 2012

Go here and vote for the young Pakistani girl who stood up to Shariah Law thugs who want women to be second class citizens wherever and in whatever country they can get control of.

  1. The life of Hazrat Aisha (Radhiyallahu-Anha) is proof that a woman can be far more learned than men and that she can be the teacher of scholars and experts. Her life is also proof that the same woman can be totally feminine and be a source of pleasure, joy and comfort to her husband. In her youth, already known for her striking beauty and her formidable memory, she came under the loving care and attention of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu-Alayhi-Wasallam) himself. As his wife and close companion she acquired from him knowledge and insight such as no woman has acquired. she was a scholar. NO FATWA

The angel Gabriel came to prophet Mohammed and spoke the word READ, Muslims are taught to read i.e. educate & gain knowledge not just in Godly affairs but worldly affairs, it is even a duty upon a Muslim not to eat alone if his neighbour is hungry but to share regardless of the religion of the neighbour, theirs a whole chapter in the Quran neighbourly needs,( chapter maun) Muslims are told to educate themselves from the womb to the tomb, both genders, Mohammed’s wife Aisha was herself a scholar, she is quoted in numerous (hadiths) or authenticated books, Mr choudry is a tyrant, and a bully, I do have other words to describe him, lol, he is trying to put women down does this stem from his own wife did she do something she ought not to off. In Islam if you kill one person its as if you have killed the whole of humanity,it is completely against the principles of Islam, don’t judge Islam due to how people behave, don’t judge Christianity on how Christians behave, as both religions promote peace, Islam more so, as I have read Quran without twisting the words!! some perverted people for their own twisted ends and to treat women as if cattle, promote such barbaric practices, prophet Mohammed has told his followers to learn from the womb to the tomb i.e. get educated this apply s to both genders

Marriage in some states of the USA is allowed at 13. What does that say about them? Would you say they promote paedophilia. Spain’s age limit is 13, Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy is 14. I am not commenting on the disgraceful way this girl is being treated and harmed. But to say it encourages paedophilia doesn’t really stand when you know many of the Catholic countries have an age limit of 13/14.

The case of Malala Yousafzai, the 14-year-old Pakistani social activist who is now struggling for her life after pro-Taliban militants attacked her, has captured the world’s attention with international media giving vast coverage to the incident.

However, many in Pakistan allege that Western media has been giving undue coverage to the incident only to support the unjustifiable interests of the US in its so-called war against terror.

A day after the attack on the Malala Yousufzai, 18 people were killed when a US drone fired missiles in Pakistan’s Orakzai Agency near the Afghan border.

This was one of the hundreds of US assassination drone attacks that have killed innocent civilians in thousands in Pakistan’s northwest. The attack hardly got global attention owing to the ongoing Western media’s successful campaign to divert public opinion against pro-Taliban militants whom Barak Obama has called a silver lining.

Washington claims drone strikes have been targeting Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked militants, however, reports by locals show only civilians have been killed in these attacks.

Besides, the fact that the attack on Malala has come at a time when US assassination drone strikes have been making news across the country with the long march staged by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party drawing global attention to the issue, is becoming a constant concern for observers.

Observers also say that the attack on Malala has equally helped switch public attention from the country’s top issues like US assassination drone attacks, corruption and law and order situation that has plagued the country since Pakistan joined the so-called US-led war on terror.

  2. For me,the”Person Of The Year” award used to conjure up lists of humans that were good people to one degree or another, with an occasional “head-scratcher” thrown in just to violate our sensibilities. And unfortunately, somethmes a “head-scratcher” wins the whole thing.

This year the real burr iunder my saddle comes with the mention of Sandra Flouke, who became a national figure demanding that taxpayers pay for her birth control pills, devices and software, and medical procedures should any of those preventatives fail, or succeed (however you wish to look at it), or if she should change her mind about life producing for one reason or another we should pay for that as well.

Now we have the clearest choice, (maybe of all time) in 14 year old Pakastani girl Malala Yousafzai who was shot in the head by another of the countless rabid Muslim fanatics because she lobbied for the right to get an education. Airlifted to England for emergency medical treatment, she slowly recovered to the point that her survival was iminent.

And what of her plans for the future? Will she live out her potential in the relatively civil surroundings of England, given a soundboard to the world to broadcast her belief that girls and women, (and guys too, for they are also shackled by the demands that Islam places upon them), should be able to rise to the level their abilities can take them?

No, Malala will return to Pakastan to pursue her dreams and goals in the very same country that simultaneously enjoys the high-tech presence of nuclear weapons and then millions of zealots who worship a 7th century pedophile. I pray for her safety, because
there will be those who will consider it a badge of courage to personally do her in, finally, in the name of Allah.

And be cheered by huge numbers of Muslim for his Sharia humanity. (My fantasy would be to get them all in a huge stadium and then use one of those nukes to send them on their heavenly way, nightshirts flapping in the breeze). But that is another story.

This lovely girl should live forever, and is the hands down choice for Person Of The Year.
