Get ready for it! Hollywood making a refugee resettlement movie

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 2, 2014

It will be a heartwarming story about a white girl (Reese Witherspoon) helping Sudanese refugee ‘Lost Boys’ making it in America.

The plucky white girl—-Reese Witherspoon

You gotta laugh sometimes!

Here one commenter (of several) sums it up this way!  (Hat tip: whuptdue)

J: White people helping po’ black people! Ain’t those white people got great big hearts?!

Thanks Hollywood.

Watch for the refugee contractors using the film for star-studded galas (fundraisers!).  “The Good Lie” will be out in theaters on October 3rd.

‘The Lie’ will surely get an Oscar nomination because turning it down would make Hollywood look racist!

Unaccompanied minors swamp Lynn, Mass.; no help from feds says mayor

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 2, 2014

This story is a week old (trying desperately to catch up!), but figured most of you haven’t seen it.

We previously heard from Mayor Judith Kennedy in 2011 when she begged for the US State Department and the contractors to stop sending refugees to Lynn, here.

Once your town has been tagged as “welcoming” there will be no stopping the flow!

From The Salem News (hat tip: ‘pungentpeppers’):

LYNN — An influx of children from Central America immigrating to the United States without their parents is frustrating officials in this gritty city nearly 2,200 miles from the Mexican border.

In the past two years, Lynn has seen waves of unaccompanied minors settle here after crossing the U.S.-Mexican border illegally, city officials say. Most are teenage boys from Guatemala who speak little or no English when they arrive, and they have little or no documentation.

“We have become a major haven for immigration,” said Mayor Judy Kennedy. “But with all these new people come needs: police, fire and city services. And we’re getting no help from the federal government.”

Don’t believe the feds when they tell you the costs will be borne by US taxpayers and not local ones!

Read it all.

See our complete archive of posts on ‘unaccompanied minors’ (aka illegal alien teenagers).

By the way, do you see our category called “community destabilization?”  We set that up years ago to catalog all of the cases where we have identified this Alinsky (Obama, Cloward-Piven) strategy—-destabilizing communities is what this is all about.  That category now has 480 posts in it and they are much much closer to pushing America over the edge.

Did you see this?  Congressman Louie Gohmert said this week that the US will become a third world nation.

OK Congressman denied access to Ft. Sill where 1,200 unaccompanied minors are being held

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 2, 2014

From 100percentfedtup  (hat tip: Cathy):

Congressman Bridenstine said, “There is no excuse for denying a Federal Representative from Oklahoma access to a federal facility in Oklahoma where unaccompanied children are being held. Any Member of Congress should have the legal authority to visit a federal youth detention facility without waiting three weeks.”

Congressman’s entry blocked. Who is paying the security guards?

The Health and Human Services (HHS) official who appears to be in charge of the facility, told Congressman Bridenstine he could schedule an appointment for July 21. HHS Deputy Director of the Office of Public Affairs, Ken Wolfe, would not take the Congressman’s phone call. The Congressman was told to send Mr. Wolfe an email as that was the preferred method of communication. Congressman Bridenstine’s email to Mr. Wolfe included this press release.

“After my visit today with the base commander, I approached the barracks where the children are housed. A new fence has been erected by HHS, completely surrounding the barracks and covered with material to totally obscure the view. Every gate is chained closed.

Is Albany, NY Rep. Paul Tonko welcoming the “children?” Sure sounds like it!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 2, 2014

Update:  Tonko’s Republican challenger is making the issue a campaign issue, see the story here.

He sure isn’t criticizing the idea of bringing hundreds of illegal alien teenagers to Albany.  Does he think like Obama that America needs the “dreamer” kids?  Story hat tip: Laurence.

Rep. Tonko: Strengthen NY communities by bringing in hundreds of Central American teenaged boys?

Meanwhile we note that another federal refugee contractor*** has its hand in the federal till!

From NBC News10.com:

According to Paul Tonko, the Department of Health and Human Service is looking at many places across the country to house the children that cross the border without adults. There are a few places benig reviewed to house the children One of which, is the old Doane Stuart School building, located on Southern Boulevard in Albany.

[….]

“Initial reaction is that these children are escaping violence because of humanitarian efforts of this nation which I think has been our hallmark, to be humanitarian in response to, in this case, children,” said Tonko.

[….]

Tonko says other sites in New York State are also being investigated. However, he stresses funding will come from the federal level and not come from the state.  [Yeh right! No cost to the state!—ed]

Previously most federal contracts for caring for the “unaccompanied minors” went to the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and to the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service.  Recently we saw that Church World Service is in on the action and now we see USCRIs (US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants) hand in the federal till too!

All of the contractors were lobbying for ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ (S.744) so as to obtain more immigrant ‘clients’ and thus federal grants, but since they aren’t getting that windfall, they will get this one!

NBC News10.com continued:

Stacie Blake, with the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants says the main concern is safe place to put the children with access to immigration hearings and an airport.

Something her office knows a lot about.

“Our interest is seeing and hearing these interests upheld because we are learning of these very disturbing reports off these most vulnerable children,” she said.

Upstate New York appears to be a prime target for relocating the “children” away from the border.

***The contractors (remember some, maybe all by now! are being paid by you to take care of the illegal alien “children!”)

Not even California wants the “child” invaders; buses blocked by protesters

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 2, 2014

 Invasion of America……

The Blaze (Screengrab via the Desert Sun). Protesters divert buses loaded with illegal migrant “children.”

***Update***  More on Murrieta as lead story on Drudge.

From The Blaze (hat tip: Joanne):

SAN DIEGO (TheBlaze/AP) — Homeland Security buses carrying migrant children and families were rerouted Tuesday to a facility in San Diego after American flag-waving protesters blocked the group from reaching a suburban processing center.

The standoff in Murrieta came after Mayor Alan Long urged residents to complain to elected officials about the plan to transfer the Central American illegal immigrants to California to ease overcrowding of facilities along the Texas-Mexico border.

Ireland criticised for not taking enough “refugees”

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 2, 2014

Refugee Council of Ireland protest outside Irish government buildings.

There is hope for Ireland after all!

The ‘invasion of Europe’ is not getting there fast enough according to the Refugee Council of Ireland.

From Irish Central:

Ireland is bottom of the European league table when it comes to offering asylum to refugees – including those from war torn Syria – according to a new report.

[….]

The Eurostat report says: “The three largest groups of beneficiaries of protection status in the EU28 in 2013 remained citizens of Syria (35,800 persons or 26 percent of the total number of persons granted protection status), Afghanistan (16,400 or 12 percent) and Somalia (9,700 or 7 percent).

[….]

Ireland allowed only 150 out of 840 applicants asylum status while 55 others received interim permission to remain in the state.

The figures put the country at the bottom of the league along with the Baltic and some south-eastern European states.

Click here for our complete ‘invasion of Europe’ series which we haven’t had much time for lately due to the stepped-up invasion of America.   All of our posts on Ireland are here.

Rochester, NY: Bhutanese refugees fear violence from African Americans

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 2, 2014

The US State Department, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and whichever resettlement contractor they used in Rochester, NY to resettle these Bhutanese (Nepalese) are a bunch of nincompoops!

They must think that if they plunk down some new minority into an African American neighborhood that all of those people of different colors will somehow sympathize with each other and magically melt into a sort of blissful multicultural co-existence.

From the Democrat and Chronicle:

Locked inside their house in northwest Rochester, the Nepalese family felt under siege.

Outside, a crowd of young men — 20 to 25 in number — broke windows to the home and threatened to storm inside, according to members of the family. Moments before, several young men had followed and jumped a Nepalese teen. That scuffle then escalated into the menacing gang.

It wasn’t until the police came that the crowd scattered. This incident, in daylight hours Thursday, is another in a growing list of attacks against South Asian refugee families who have been settled in areas of northwest Rochester near Jones Square.

[….]

As law enforcement officials decide how to curb the intimidation and violence, the refugees themselves say they feel ignored and left to fend for themselves.

[….]

Many of the refugees are hesitant to talk to police, and, when they do, they have not been able to provide much information about their attackers. Typically, the offenders have been young African-American men, creating a volatile situation in which the refugees feel at risk in the very neighborhoods where they have been resettled.

Think that’s bad, just wait until potentially thousands of Central American teenage “refugee” boys arrive in upstate New York (resettled there by some of the same nincompoops!).

They couldn’t create more chaos and strife if they tried (or, scary thought, maybe they are trying?).

For new readers (and we have many lately), here is just one post with a little history (Bush legacy also) about how we have resettled 75,000 Bhutanese/Nepalese in the last 6 years or so.

Homeland Security Infographic on processing into America the illegal alien “children”

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 2, 2014

Isn’t this great, the Dept. of Homeland Securty has a handy little “infographic” to help you understand the steps  involved in taking care of the “children” (3/4 are teenaged boys) coming across the US Southern border by the thousands.   You pay for all of this and there is no mention here about sending any home.

The asylum courts are so clogged that they will be fully grown men before they get a court date (step 5), if they ever get one.

We are going to have a lot of posts in the coming days about whether your town or city will be involved in Step 3 below.

By the way, here is a link to ORR’s state refugee coordinators.  Call yours and see if you will be “welcoming” the “children” where you live!

For new readers, see all of our posts (going back several years) on “unaccompanied minors” by clicking here.  See especially Don Barnett’s prescient report of ten years ago.  It took a President like Obama to take a Bush do-gooder policy and turn it into an invitation to invade America.
