St. Cloud professor Luke Tripp is professional agitator on behalf of Somali refugees

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 31, 2015

Five years ago next month we wrote about Luke Tripp and now we see he is still busy agitating and creating tension in the latest incident in St. Cloud involving a high school and Somalis demonstrating and claiming they are being mistreated in the school system because of their race.

Community organizer Luke Tripp helps stir up trouble in St. Cloud. Photo: http://www.kvsc.org/podcast_item.php?id=96

Tripp is doing what Obama did (still does!) what Saul Alinsky taught—stirring up animosity to bring about “change.”

Did you ever wonder how it is that the Somali refugees are so good at creating tension—it is because of people like Luke Tripp mentoring them and keeping them in line.  And, making sure the problems are never their fault for not trying to fit into American communities.  It is always ‘whitey’s’ fault.

But, let’s be clear, some of the tension in Somali overloaded cities is between US-born African Americans and Somalis and Tripp is not telling you that!

Here is what I said about him FIVE YEARS AGO:

Luke Tripp and Mahmoud Mohamed are community agitators.  What is happening in St. Cloud, MN now and for the last few years is a perfect example of Saul Alinsky’s (Rules for Radicals) strategy being put into motion to bring about “change” through creating crisis in communities.  It is no coincidence that one of the most outspoken conservative critics of the king of community organizers (Barack Obama) happens to be the Representative for this Congressional district which includes St. Cloud—Michele Bachmann.   Tripp is a race baiter and he is using the recent Somali unrest to get Michele Bachmann.

An aside:  Readers, especially conservative readers, should study Saul Alinsky.  Much of the reason that we are continually caught off guard by the ‘crisis creates change’ strategy is that we don’t think that way.  We generally think that to solve problems and conflicts one should try very hard to work together in a quiet and dignified way.  Not so for community organizers and union agitators—they must continually create chaos to move the so-called “community” to their far Left view of governance.

Please read it all and see how Tripp inflamed the situation then and is doing it again now!

From St. Cloud Times (‘Institutional Racism Plagues St. Cloud Schools’) where Tripp is making sure that anyone who opposes more Somali resettlement because the city can’t afford it, or because there is simply too great a cultural divide, is a racist.  That is what race baiters do!  Just a few snips:

Somalis are under attack in St. Cloud because of their race, their religion and their immigration/refugee status. With the recent influx of many Somali students, the St. Cloud public schools are facing a clash of cultures.

[….]

The Somali community continues to suffer numerous attacks at various levels and in all areas of social life, including schools, stores, workplaces, housing and the media.

[….]

The basic issue Somali students and the Somali community are calling attention to is the systemic and continuous failure of the district’s administration and board to seriously address the toxic anti-Somali climate and institutional racism – racial patterns that result from policies, rules and prejudice.

There are administrators and staff members and some board members who still do not seem to grasp the significance of the social transformation of their school system, as demonstrated by the recurring conflicts between Somali and non-Somali students and the high suspension rate of black students.   [Ha! I think they grasp it just fine and don’t want to transform their school system!—ed]

[….]

Instead of denying that systemic racial problems exist, the board and administrators must act on the legitimate grievances of the Somali community and develop a strategic plan based on genuine diversity and social justice, and dedicated to systemically advocating, building and maintaining respectful, collaborative and reciprocal relationships.

So, where is Tripp’s op-ed telling the Somalis they must adjust (assimilate!) and build respectful and reciprocal relationships with Americans?

Remember!  Besides Tripp the other big player responsible for conflicts in St. Cloud is Lutheran Social Service head honcho, Jodi Harpstead who brings in the new Somali population each year at the behest of the US State Department/UN.

Maryland alert! Tell new REPUBLICAN Governor Hogan to oppose Obama Amnesty

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 31, 2015

This is just maddening!

Maryland Republicans worked hard and were overjoyed to elect a Republican governor last fall and now we see that on immigration the Democrat extreme Leftwing Open Borders crowd, led by Attorney General Brian Frosh, is still running the show in Maryland.

NJ Governor Chris Christie opposes Obama’s unlawful amnesty, so why doesn’t MD Governor Larry Hogan do the same?

Here is Help Save Maryland on what you can do!

MARYLAND CITIZENS DO NOT SUPPORT PRESIDENT OBAMA’S EXECUTIVE AMNESTY!

In January 2015, before the swearing in for Governor-elect Larry Hogan, Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh took it upon himself to set immigration policy for the new Hogan Administration.

Acting alone, AG Frosh signed on to an amicus curiae or “friend of the court” brief with 11 other states in support of President Obama’s controversial executive amnesty for illegal aliens. This questionable brief was submitted in opposition to the formal legal challenge filed by the State of Texas and 25 other states which argued that the President’s unconstitutional amnesty would be a financial burden on the states.

[….]

Please sign the Help Save Maryland Petition. Tell Maryland Governor Larry Hogan to:

~Immediately withdraw the State of Maryland from the “friend of the court” briefs signed by Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh. Maryland citizens are tired of paying for illegal aliens in our communities.

~Put our state on record with the federal courts and the American People that the law-abiding citizens of Maryland refuse to support President Obama’s Executive Amnesty.

~Order Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh to cease and desist from providing any further verbal or written support for the unconstitutional Executive Amnesty being promoted by the White House.

Go here to sign the petition.

Then send this around to everyone you know in Maryland!

Endnote:  If you think this has nothing to do with refugees, you are wrong!  If Obama’s illegal amnesty is fulfilled the refugee resettlement contractors we tell you about all the time, will be granted even more of your tax dollars to get the newly amnestied signed up for their “services,” and eventually signed up to vote (they are already receiving government grants to rush legal permanent residents through the citizenship process).

Spartanburg, SC update: Citizens want resettlement agency/feds to present a plan to the community for public review and discussion

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 31, 2015

Update and correction:  Pastor Chris Pollard has asked us to make it clear to our readers that his organization, Come Closer Spartanburg, has not asked for nor received any federal funding for resettlement of refugees in Spartanburg.  We are glad to report that his group’s Christian charity comes from their members and not the federal treasury. I wish we could say the same of World Relief.  Here is his statement to us:

Please note that our partnership network, our individual churches, nor myself, have ever been approached about being used as a funnel for money from the federal government for refugee resettlement.  We have not asked for, nor have we received any money. That statement is without basis and inaccurate.

Our recent post on an announcement that federal refugee resettlement contractor World Relief (National Assoc. of Evangelicals) plans to begin resettling third world refugees (they mention Syrians, Congolese and Bhutanese) in Spartanburg, South Carolina very soon, was one of the top-read posts of all time here at RRW.

Chris Pollard (right) the founder of Come Closer Spartanburg. So why isn’t it enough to minister to, and care for, the American impoverished people already living in Spartanburg? Is it because the refugees bring federal dollars with them? What was it Christ said about Caesar’s money? Photo at twitter: https://twitter.com/pastorjourney

The local organization that US State Department contractor World Relief  has chosen to funnel funds to is ‘Come Closer Spartanburg’ organized by Pastor Chris Pollard.   According to ‘Come Closer’s’ website the Pastor Jason Lee, who will be employed by World Relief/US State Department to run the resettlement in Spartanburg, recently received training at World Relief headquarters in Baltimore, MD.

Jason will be traveling to World Relief Home Office in Baltimore, Maryland, for orientation and training during the month of March.

By the way, we learned that the plan for “seeding” refugees in Spartanburg had been in the works for some time before the citizens of the small city were ever informed.

The federal contractor (one of nine major contractors), World Relief, is approximately 68% taxpayer funded (2012 Form 990) as we reported here.  That is not as awful as some of the others that are 98-99% funded by you, but nevertheless, little of their “Christian charitable” work with refugees comes from private charity. They are virtually an arm of the federal government!

They couldn’t exist at all without the massive infusion of federal dollars (approaching $39 million for World Relief in 2012).

Every new town or city faced with a proposal to become a refugee resettlement site, please pay attention.

You must insist, as citizens in Spartanburg are doing, that the federal government, its contractors and subcontractors prepare a comprehensive impact statement for your town as Ms. Jeffrey does yesterday at the Herald-Journal.

If they can’t sell the plan to the community with all the facts in plain view, then the resettlement plan isn’t one your town or city should accept.

Christina Jeffrey (emphasis is mine):

Recently, I was surprised to learn that there is a “Spartanburg faith group to help refugees resettle here,” (Herald-Journal, March 9 edition). Apparently an invitation was given a year ago to a refugee contractor, World Relief, to set up an office in Spartanburg and begin receiving refugees.

According to Herald-Journal staff writer Kim Kimzey’s article, a community group called Come Closer Spartanburg issued the invitation to World Relief. On its website, Come Closer Spartanburg describes the city of Spartanburg as “home to what has been identified as the fifth most dangerous neighborhood in the United States. We have extremely high rates of unemployment, poverty and domestic violence. Overall, we were recently listed as the fourth most ‘miserable’ city to live in our country. It does not take long to realize that we are a city in need of transformation.”

Christina Jeffrey: Federal contractor must prepare impact statement before resettlement of refugees.

The group must believe that bringing refugees here will help transform what in its opinion is a poor, benighted city. But the question has to be asked: How can we be assured that this transformation will make Spartanburg safer? I, too, am concerned about safety in Spartanburg and somewhat alarmed by some of the statistics we’ve seen in recent years about crime in our area.

I looked into the issue of refugees and how they are being vetted. Refugees are identified by an agency of the United Nations, and the State Department has agreed to take 9,000 this year (with 500 already here) from Syria alone. The United Nations expects the number of refugees fleeing the violence in Syria to reach 4.27 million by December, and these refugees are now the largest group under the U.N. refugee agency’s mandate. Recently, Michael Steinbach, assistant director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, told the House Homeland Security Committee that there is no way to properly vet these refugees from Syria.

On March 16, I attended the South Carolina National Security Conference in Columbia. At the conference, there was a great deal of discussion about the refugee resettlement program and the problems it is causing for American communities.

Apparently contractors are well paid by the State Department to settle refugees, but after six months the newcomers are often on their own. If they settle here, the residents and taxpayers of Spartanburg County may be on their own to figure out how to help them, because by then World Relief may be taking care of a new crop of refugees.

Looking at other U.S. cities with new refugee communities, it appears that contractors often keep sending refugees to the same place until there is a community within a community. Unassimilated communities have created problems in Europe, and we are beginning to have similar problems here in the United States (witness Milwaukee, Wis., and Lewiston, Maine).  [Minneapolis and St. Cloud, MN are really feeling the strain with an onslaught of Somali refugees.  And remember!  No matter what the contractor promises, your community is NOT GOING TO CHOOSE THE ETHNIC GROUPS YOU WILL GET!—Ed]

If our county is going to sponsor refugees, then the director of the new World Relief settlement office in Spartanburg, Come Closer Spartanburg and anyone or any group behind this project should work together on a plan for resettling any refugess they are expecting to bring here.

It is only fair to the refugees as well as the people of Spartanburg to have a detailed plan for the settlement and to provide impact statements for us. Impact statements should include plans for housing, transportation, county schools, employment, health care, skills training, social services, public safety, etc.

When World Relief and its allies have their master settlement plan (and impact statements) ready for public inspection, it would be appropriate for the City Council and County Council, along with our legislative delegation, to call a meeting to present this information to the people of Spartanburg and allow us to ask questions and learn more about how the plan will affect us, our families and our communities.

Failing to plan is planning to fail.

Be sure to see our first post on Spartanburg, with updates, here.   And, if you are getting wind of your town being targeted, please see ‘Ten things your town needs to know,’ here.

St. Cloud propaganda program: Why you should hire a Somali, or is it really, why you shouldn’t!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 30, 2015

Just as the chaos was coming to a head at Tech High School in St. Cloud over the last ten days or so, a couple of employment specialists held a seminar on hiring St. Cloud Somalis (they are more mature we are told).

As you read this see if you react the way I did!  Note in this politically correct “news” story at the St. Cloud Times it is all about how YOU must adjust to Somalis and their Islamic ‘faith’ and nothing about how Somalis must learn to live in America and assimilate!   (Go back and look at that Christian Science Monitor article from Kenya I just posted where all the compromise must come from the infidel side and none from the Muslim side of the supposed goal of “coexisting.”)

Kathy doesn’t get it as she promotes the quiet jihad. Stearns-Benton Employment and Training Council Director Kathy Zavala gave tips on how to interact with Somalis. How about the tips for Somalis on how to interact with Americans? Photo: http://www.ifound.org/initiative-quarterly/whos-hiring-who/jump-start/

The St. Cloud Times reporter, Vicki Ikeogu, apparently doesn’t see what I see!

Members of the St. Cloud business community had the opportunity to learn about Somali culture and workforce at Thursday’s East African Presentation and Job Fair.

The two-hour joint presentation by Language Bank Operations Manager Abdul Kulane and Stearns-Benton Employment and Training Council Director Kathy Zavala provided employers with basic knowledge about Somali people and tips on how to interact with this growing population.

What the heck does this mean?  Somalis will help “connect us to the world economy?”

You know they say this stuff as if they are dispensing words of wisdom?  What world economy?  Do they mean Somalis send the money they receive from America out of the country and to Somalia as remittances?  How does that help Americans?

“The bottom line opportunity is immigrants are financial contributors, entrepreneurs, workers and consumers and help connect us to the world economy,” Zavala said.

Zavala said approximately 6 percent of people living in St. Cloud are foreign born, with over 25 percent of foreign-born citizens coming from Africa. [So what is the unemployment rate among the foreign-born in St. Cloud and the American-born in St. Cloud?  I’d like to know!—ed]

“If you look at the demographics, we need to understand where our workforce is coming from and how they can contribute to our economy in order to sustain our community,” Zavala said.  [We can’t do it without Somalis?—ed]

This section should have a subheading:  Why you shouldn’t hire a Somali Muslim!

They don’t want anyone looking over their shoulder as they work:

Kulane said for many Somalis, being entrusted with a job has a religious connotation as well. According to social norms, some Somalis do not like someone watching over their shoulder, he said. In Somali culture, it signals a lack of confidence in their abilities.

The women won’t be making eye contact or shaking your hand:

Cultural interactions such as eye contact and handshaking were also discussed.

Religion is most important to them and they will want special break times during work to practice their ‘religion’ (get used to it!).  And, there is a special way you must communicate with these special people:

A brief introduction to Islam was provided, allowing for employers to learn about the importance of prayer and fasting to many Somali people. There were tips for starting a conversation with the Somali workers on these topics.

Just imagine the hell that would break loose if there were job seminars like this one and employers were told how to converse with Catholics and Jews about their religion on the job!

See our extensive St. Cloud archive here.  Thank the Lutherans!

And one more thing!  Did you see this short news story about a 19-year-old Somali high school student who threatened to attack a Tech High security guard in an incident unrelated (we are told) to the demonstration that happened the same day!

A St. Cloud man was arrested Wednesday afternoon at St. Cloud Technical High School after he pushed and threatened to assault a school security employee, according to St. Cloud Police.

Police officers were called to the school at 1:52 p.m. after a report that Redwan Mahamed Shire, 19, had become disorderly, authorities said. Police say the incident does not appear to be related to a protest that was going on at the same time outside the school.

In refugee-saturated Buffalo, NY, violence leaves Burmese refugee paralyzed

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 30, 2015

This is a story we have written before, not the specific refugee nor the specific city, but the story about violence perpetrated against refugees as the resettlement contractors overload poor neighborhoods with third world refugees (many of whom have lived protected lives in UN camps) who don’t know how to live among thugs who are not at all moved by the multi-culti myth that diversity brings strength.

There are too many diverse ethnic groups being dumped into cities across the country by Federal resettlement contractors (they call themselves VOLAGs. They are anything but Voluntary!) and the US State Department where the ‘humanitarians’ apparently believe that a melting pot still exists, melting will happen, and everyone will live happily ever after.

See our many posts on problems in Buffalo, NY, here.

By the way, Buffalo political leaders think the many immigrants are going to save their city.  But, be sure to check out what is happening in another New York city—Utica—-the town that “loves refugees” where the city has sued the state of New York for more tax payer funding as its school system is deteriorating due to a large influx of needy children from the third world.   Ten years ago, the UNHCR gave Utica the title and used their report on Utica as propaganda around the country to convince other towns and cities to “welcome” refugees.

From the Buffalo News:

Only after laborious therapy has the Burmese immigrant of Karen ethnicity regained movement in his right arm. The comfortable room is not in a hotel, but in Terrace View nursing home near Erie County Medical Center. Wah has been hospitalized since a mugging last June left him paralyzed, a disheartening symbol of the assaults and break-ins afflicting the immigrant population on Buffalo’s West Side.

Burmese refugee left paralyzed after beating in Buffalo.

The county executive last week celebrated the recent influx of immigrants, which has staunched the county’s three-decade population bleed. The other side of the immigrant story is K’Paw Wah. He was born and raised in a Thai refugee camp, after his parents fled from oppressive Burmese rulers. He and his two daughters four years ago followed his older brother to Buffalo.

Wah’s dream of freedom ended violently. Heading home from a West Side convenience store late one night, he was jumped by at least two men with, he recalled, “their faces covered.” The attackers, Wah told me in halting but clear English, threw him hard to the ground, breaking his neck.

Is your town considering “welcoming” refugees?

If so remember you will need more funding, more police, more translators, etc. etc.

Wah’s fate is the grimmest reminder of the fragility of the immigrant population. Buffalo’s West Side is the end point for Burmese, Somalis, Burundi and other newcomers. Circumstances render them vulnerable and tough to protect. Language barriers, a lack of translators and a distrust of police related to abuse in their homeland contribute to their problems. Critics say police and city officials have been slow to respond to the challenge. Dozens of frustrated Burmese went public with their complaints this month at a Common Council meeting.

Lisa Strand said similar community outreaches the past several months have spurred good-faith efforts from police.

“There’s recently been a lot of progress,” said Strand, attorney for Buffalo’s Legal Aid Bureau. “But the police need a formal translator-access plan and to grasp the larger scope of this.”

Who is responsible for overloading Buffalo with refugees?

Remember that we told you last week that Lutheran Social Service is responsible for the Somalis in St. Cloud, well, whew! look at this! We have five of the nine major contractors divvying up what must be a large flow of refugees to Buffalo (and LOL! I bet they each fight to keep their number of paying ‘clients’ up).  From the very handy US State Department list of subcontractors with offices in 180 or so US cities:

As Muslim population grows, the Islamization of Kenya is underway

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 30, 2015

Update April 2nd:  Somali Islamists slaughter 147 mostly Christians in Kenya today, here.

This is an excellent summary of how it is happening—whether it’s the Islamization of Europe, Christian countries in Africa, like Kenya, and eventually in Minneapolis, Dearborn and a town near you—as the Muslim population expands, Muslim leaders increase their demands that infidels change to accommodate Islam.  And, hovering menacingly in the background is the threat of violence.

Rt. Rev. Robert Martin, leader of the Anglican Diocese of Marsabit: “There is the belief that Islam is pursuing the Islamization of Kenya.”

I’ve just snipped a few small bits from the lengthy Christian Science Monitor piece from yesterday, so please read it all.  I think you will be surprised at the weakness of the Christian church in Africa.

“There is this fear that Muslims are stepping on other people’s toes by demanding to practice their faith in places that don’t belong to them,” says Hassan Ole Naado, head of the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (SUPKEM).

It’s a reckoning happening worldwide, with Europe in particular grappling with how to accommodate Muslim immigrants. But in Kenya, the presence of militants in neighboring Somalia who have vowed to retaliate for Kenya’s military intervention there adds immediacy to the problem.

This bolder face is seen across Kenya’s disparate Muslim communities: They are forming civil rights advocacy groups, ascending within the Kenyan government…

It doesn’t take a Muslim majority to bring a country to its knees:

To Christians, who make up about 80 percent of Kenya’s population and have long dominated political and social institutions, the rise comes with a tinge of menace.

[….]

“Most of our church leaders feel Muslims are trying to take over government,” says the Rt. Rev. Robert Martin, an Englishman who leads the Anglican Diocese of Marsabit. “There is the belief that Islam is pursuing the Islamization of Kenya.”

Of course it is!

Photo comes from a very interesting story here about the Anglican split from the Episcopal church.

Wilders speaks in Vienna, calls again for a halt to Muslim immigration to the West

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 30, 2015

There is one brave political leader shouting from the roof tops across Europe that citizens must speak up and demand a halt to the Hijrah, the migration of Muslims to the West, whose goal is simply-put: to destroy the West from within.

From (appropriately) the Gates of Vienna blog (Geert Wilders speech in Vienna last week):

Geert Wilders of the Dutch Party for Freedom and Heinz-Christian Strache of the Austrian Freedom Party.

In his speech (held in German — the full English text has been posted here), Wilders stressed that the threat of Islamization is by no means being stopped by ostrich-like tactics of the leaders of the European Union, but is actually proceeding at a frightening pace. Wilders quoted statistics about the proliferation of Salafist Islamic organisations, about the number of Muslims supporting violence against non-Muslims, and the threat by the Islamic State to place large numbers of terrorists among asylum seekers entering Europe.

For these reasons and more, Geert Wilders demands that immigration from Islamic countries be halted immediately, that no more mosques should be built, and that we must take control of what is being taught in Islamic schools.

Islam cannot be reformed, he stressed, and for the simple reason that we cannot separate Islam from the Koran, neither can we take Muhammad out of Islam. Therefore there can never be a moderate Islam, Wilders said in his speech.

Wilders is steadfast that our Western culture, based on Christianity, Judaism and Humanism, is categorically superior to the Islamic culture. In the interest of everyone, immigrants should adopt our values, not the other way around.

For those who want to join ISIS:  Let them go!***

In the current confrontation with the Islamic State and the problem of those wishing to leave their countries to join it, he has one thing to say: “Let them go, but never let them return.” Take away their passport and citizenship. Once these young people have been radicalized, no amount of intervention or counselling is going to change their minds. So rather bid them goodbye and good riddance, for the West is not their home.

Time is running out and it is up to everyone to speak up!

His resistance against Islamization, mass immigration, lying media (Lügenpresse) and hostile EU elites cannot be left to politicians alone. Wilders emphasizes that preserving our liberties is a responsibility for every citizen because, as he says, “time is running out for the West.”

Visit Gates of Vienna for more and for links.

By the way, my little booklet written for the Center for Security Policy is being reprinted with a forward and some small changes to the format, so look for the newest edition which should be out soon.   It will also have a slightly different title:  ‘Refugee Resettlement and the Hijrah to America.’

***Just this morning we see news that five Dutch Nationals were apprehended on their way through Turkey to join ISIS.  Wilders is right! We are raising jihadists in our immigrant communities (and paying for their welfare!).  Then when these five are returned to the Netherlands, as they surely will, they will still be in the care of the Dutch taxpayers while in prison.

Away message….

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 27, 2015

I’ll be out of the fray until Monday.

While I am gone please visit our newly revamped facebook page for some new or recycled information that you may not know.

The page is here where Kelly is doing a fantastic job of getting some important posts out there.  We reached over 150,000 facebook readers this past week!

Syria!

As I leave, if you didn’t see it, please have a look at our post on Syria from earlier in the week.  One of the most important things we can do right now is to support Obama’s FBI which testified before Congress in February that we cannot properly screen Muslim Syrians for entry into the US as refugees.

Nevertheless, the resettlement industry has begun a push to persuade Obama (probably won’t take much persuasion) to raise the ceiling for fiscal year 2015 from 70,000 total refugees to 100,000 so as to bring in large numbers of Syrians!

Please visit the post and see what you can do!

Because we won’t do a weekly round-up this week (where we usually post this information), below is for the many new readers arriving here (thanks to facebook visitors!) who would like to learn how to navigate RRW.

For new readers!

Since we get new readers every day, here is my usual spiel with two points I need to continue to make:

First, we do screen our comments and don’t post any that threaten any kind of violence and we don’t post ones filled with foul language.  An occasional expletive might slip in if the comment is otherwise a good one.  You are always free to disagree with our point of view if you follow those two simple rules.

And the other thing I want to mention is about e-mails that come to you every time we post.  They come directly from wordpress to subscribers.  We don’t send out e-mails.  So, if we are posting too much for your e-mail inbox, then just unsubscribe and visit RRW when you have the time I understand completely about too many e-mails!  You might want to simply follow us on twitter or on facebook (below).

This is where you can find information (in addition to our fact sheet). We have over 6,000 posts.

*  See our categories (left hand sidebar)

*  See the tag clouds (right hand sidebar)

*  Also, we have a great search function and since neither the categories nor the tags go all the way back to our first posts more than seven years ago, use the search window with a few key words.  You might want to first try your city, state, or country to see what we have reported from there over the years.

Readers from Europe should search for key words ‘Invasion of Europe’ for all of our many posts on the migration crisis on the Continent.

By the way, our category entitled ‘where to find information’ is filled with reports and documents, but with 330 posts archived there, it is pretty unwieldy now.

Past weekly roundups can be found in our category entitled ‘blogging.’

If you wish to be notified when we post, consider subscribing or follow us on twitter (@refugeewatcher) or facebook (RefugeeInfoResource).  ‘Like us’ on facebook!

And apologies to all who e-mail and comment, sorry if I don’t respond much, there are just not enough hours in my day!

Because we screen comments, yours won’t appear until we are back in business on Monday.

Grover Norquist does real damage to himself in Glenn Beck interview, five years after chalk board incident

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 26, 2015

I hope you caught Glenn Beck’s Blaze TV tonight and Beck’s interview with Mr. Open Borders himself Grover Norquist (hat tip: Kelly).  We have a large archive on Norquist the Washington Republican political guru and friend of Karl Rove who many believe (and Beck confirms) has a wide variety of questionable Muslim Brotherhood-connected friends.

Go here to Blaze TV and look for a replay.  For a sharp Washington-insider Harvard grad, Norquist looked pretty wobbly.  And, Beck had clearly done his homework.

Our interest in Norquist began in 2007 when he was pushing his ‘conservative’ pals (at his famous Wednesday meeting) to support an expanded Iraqi refugee resettlement program.

More recently he lined up a stellar list of Open Borders Republicans to push for more refugees to America generally (presumably looking for cheap labor for his industry clients).  See our report here.  His list of fellow refugee pushers included Jeb Bush.  We only ever saw the ‘big’ news at Human Rights First!

In 2010 Grover disses Glenn Beck’s chalk board gift!

For a laugh…..

I wonder does Glenn Beck know that when he gave his famous chalk board to Grover (Americans for Tax Reform) after Beck’s CPAC speech in 2010 that Grover put it in a closet in his office and obviously made sure a reporter knew about that!

This is from Potomac Tea Party Report dated March 26, 2010 (exactly 5 years ago today!) and it’s a good thing I captured the text of the story from the Washington Examiner, because the linked article is now gone.

Here is a very telling little bit of information from the Washington Examiner yesterday.  Seems that when Glenn Beck gave the keynote speech at CPAC  this past February he gifted his chalk board to Americans for Tax Reform.  But, after making a show of its arrival at ATR’s famous Wednesday meeting, ATR President Grover Norquist has since banished it to a closet.

The Washington Examiner (story no longer available):

Put it in the same category as those cat sweaters your grandmother would get you every Christmas.

Fox News pundit Glenn Beck gifted his infamous chalkboard to the Americans for Tax Reform at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference for use during its Wednesday meetings.

It’s the thought that counts, right?

“Every Wednesday in Washington, all the conservatives meet to decide what they should be doing in the weeks ahead,” David Keene, chairman of the American Conservative Union, said to close Beck’s speech. “This is going to be going to the site of the Wednesday meetings to remind us what we should be doing in the weeks ahead, and it will be put to use there.”

And just as Keene said, within days a courier delivered the large chalkboard to the downtown location of Americans for Tax Reform.

But was it actually put to use?

Well, it’s sitting in an audiovisual equipment closet attached to the conference room that hosts about 200 people every week.

[….]

However, the group’s president, Grover Norquist, isn’t exactly a fan of political talk shows.

I guess he still isn’t!

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is responsible for the Somali chaos in St. Cloud

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 26, 2015

If you are angry (about the tension in St. Cloud) and want one entity to blame, it is Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, the primary federal refugee resettlement agency working in St. Cloud!

That supposedly ‘Christian’ charitable organization is directly responsible for the high Somali numbers in St. Cloud, and they are jointly responsible for bringing over ten thousand Somalis from around the world to colonize Minnesota towns in the last ten years alone—Catholic Charities and World Relief MN (now Arrive Ministries)*** helped also.  Of course they have brought many more than 10,000 in over two decades and not just Somali Muslims!

Rumor has it that 1,500 new Somalis are going to be resettled by the Lutherans in St. Cloud this year.  (This is part of former Rep. Michele Bachmann’s district!)

Doing well by doing good? Jodi Harpstead is making over $300,000 a year to seed St. Cloud and other Minnesota towns with Somali Muslims.

These three ‘Christian’ phony non-profits (phony Christians!) could stop the US State Department’s further seeding of the state if they just said NO!  We won’t resettle any more Muslim ‘refugees.’   But they don’t!  Why?

Why? Because it is big business (as we learned from Lutherans in New England)!  They dare not challenge their sugar daddy—the federal government!  And, they must be afraid of the growing power of the Islamists and the Islamist front group—Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)—which they are responsible for unleashing on the city of St. Cloud.

So how much money does it take to buy the Lutherans?

Back in 2013 we told you that then Minnesota Lutheran CEO, Mark Peterson, was pulling down a salary of $441,767.

We went to a recent audit linked on their website and here are some numbers we found (audit ending September 30, 2014):

They had total revenue of $103,135,439 and received $91,887,312 from GOVERNMENT FEES AND GRANTS.  (Go here and click on ‘financials’ to see for yourself).

That makes them 89% government funded!  That is a government agency not a charity, and surely not a ‘Christian’ charity!

The progressive ‘religious Left’ is living off of the US taxpayer!

Doing well by doing good?

Salaries and payroll accounted for $57,929,172 of your money—your tax dollars for that one year!

Jodi doesn’t pull down a salary as high as Peterson (LOL! War on women?) her predecessor did, but it is fairly substantial none-the-less as we learned from a recent Form 990.  She was compensated with $280,812 and an additional $42,495 came from related organizations (whatever that is!).

Her second in command, Kenneth Borle, made $202,087 and $33,192 (from related organizations).

They have 8 other employees making over six-figure salaries!

Go here for the others in leadership at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota responsible for building the aggressive and demanding Muslim population of the state.

And if you are looking for more people to blame for what is happening to Minnesota, here is the Board of Directors (do you know any of them?):

The main office of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is here (below).  It is time to let them know how you feel, to put the pressure on the organization directly responsible for disrupting St. Cloud.

Good Lutherans especially need to speak up!

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota
2485 Como Avenue
St. Paul, MN 55108
651.642.5990
800.582.5260

And, according to the US State Department’s handy list of contractors the St. Cloud Lutheran resettlement agency office is here:

LIRS
MN-LIRS-08: Lutheran Social Services Of Minnesota
Address:
22 Wilson Avenue Suite 110
St. Cloud, MN 56302
Phone:
320-251-7700

One more thing!  Tell Rep. Trey Gowdy what he has in store for his community if a refugee resettlement site is established in Spartanburg, SC.

See our complete archive on St. Cloud here.  And, click here, for an enormous archive on Minnesota.  See especially our earliest post (2011), and one of our top posts of all time, when we first learned of the three ‘Christian’ groups swamping Minnesota with Somalis at the behest of the US State Department.

*** An indicator that the heat is on some of these phony Christian organizations is that they are changing their names.  Note that World Relief Minnesota is now Arrive Ministries and Lutheran Social Services of New England is now Ascentria Care Alliance (here).
