Oh brother! Sweden wants to protect itself from illegal migrants with fingerprint requirements

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 3, 2015

…..How about protecting itself by putting the military on all of its borders?  In airports and seaports too and turn the invaders back?  Or, does Sweden even have a military?

Interior Minister Anders Ygeman: We need fingerprints because we Swedes can’t tell one Middle Easterner from another from their passport photos! They all look alike.

What a coincidence!  Where are most of the phony passport holders coming from—why Turkey of course!  See our earlier post today, here.

From the Business Times:

[STOCKHOLM] Sweden needs to beef up its border security to stop passport fraud, a government inquiry argued Monday as the country grapples with unprecedented levels of immigration.

The inquiry proposed fingerprint scans for all nationalities entering Sweden from outside the passport-free Schengen Area in a move that pre-empts the European Union, which has yet to make such screenings mandatory.

[….]

Sweden has seen immigration levels soar in the wake of the Syrian conflict and expects a record 90,000 asylum seekers to arrive in Sweden in 2015.

[….]

Among travellers entering Sweden from non-Schengen countries with either fake or lookalike passports, 77 per cent had come from Turkey, a frequent transit point for refugees from Syria and Iraq.

So if they catch the fraudulent asylum-seekers are they going to have the spine to send them back to Turkey? I doubt it!

HOW CAN THEY BE SO STUPID (sorry I’m shouting!)?

See our complete Sweden archiveThe country is my bet for the first European country to fall in the Muslim invasion of Europe.

See our ‘Invasion of Europe’ archive, here.

Of course, most Western countries are being equally stupid, including the US!

Turkey: Syrian refugees wait in grand hotel for boats to take them to Europe as the invasion continues

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 3, 2015

50,000 Syrians wait in a Turkish hotels to be smuggled into Germany, Sweden, Finland and Belgium.

There is so much news today, I don’t know what to write about first!  But, be sure to see my previous post about the US Justice Department letting a Somali (refugee) terrorist leave the country with vital information about the DC area.

This is one more in our ‘Invasion of Europe’ series—this time the invasion is being aided and abetted by Turkey (no surprise!).

Syrians hanging around in the hotel in Mersin waiting for the call to board a ship! Photo: Fabio Bucciarelli for Al Jazeera America

From Al-Jazeera:

MERSIN, Turkey — During summer months, Turks and Arabs on holiday crowd the Turkish port of Mersin, a town of 1.5 million people on the Mediterranean Sea. Stores lining the seafront sell Armani handbags and Turkish women sit unveiled in coffee shops, texting on their smartphones.

But in the last few years, hotels on Mersin’s waterfront have become home to a different kind of traveler.

Upper-middle-class refugees fleeing the violence of Syria’s civil war have used Mersin as an early waypoint – a safe harbor of sorts – on their way to new lives in countries like Germany, Sweden, Finland and Belgium.

In fact, Mersin’s tourist hotels, built recently but already showing signs of aging, serve as home to at least 50,000 Syrian refugees.

In the race to house them all, Green Tower hotel is ground zero. Here, Turkish has been replaced with Arabic, and some 300 Syrians wander the property aimlessly, waiting in limbo between the hell of war and an uncertain emigration to Europe. Rarely do they leave the hotel complex, in fear of missing the call that could very well represent the beginning of their new lives.

The one-way trip to Western Europe is organized by the Syrian and Turkish mafias and managed in detail by smugglers. Charging about $6,000 per person, the journey is accessible only to those who have put money aside — Syrians who have sold their homes and shops and managed to scrape together just enough to move their families away from danger.

In the past, most migrants who’ve found their way to the shores of Mersin were from African countries, rescued from small, waterlogged crafts. But this migration is different.

Smugglers transport refugees from Mersin to points throughout Europe on large ships, capable of squeezing up to 800 people into their hold.

[….]

According to Abu Hasan, a Syrian smuggler from Aleppo, the refugees used to be sent to Italy and Greece, but now head to Germany, Sweden, Finland and Belgium.

There is a lot more, with many photos, here.  Learn why Italy and Greece are not desirable landing sites any longer.

Why doesn’t the government of Turkey clean up the smuggler business?   I would guess two reasons—money, and because the government of Turkey is likely very happy to see Europe increase its Muslim population and thus bring about an Islamic state in Europe sooner than later.

And, come to think of it, where is the UN High Commissioner for Refugees?

DC cabbie on FBI terror list arrested in Somalia, but was US Justice Department complicit in letting him leave US

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 3, 2015

The Somali (refugee!) cab driver was familiar with the Washington, DC Metro area and therefore extremely valuable to Al-Shabaab, so why did the Justice Department not move in on him sooner?

Heck, he has been gone from the US for almost three years and that is a lot of time to divulge what he knows to the Islamic (America-hating) killers with Al-Shabaab!

See our previous post last month, here.

Gee, maybe Mohamed even knows where Eric Holder lives!

Who in the US Justice Department overruled the FBI allowing Liban Haji Mohamed to leave the country?

Here is how the news at the Washington Post begins, but it is near the end where we learn the most significant piece of this story (I think they call this buryng the lead).  (Hat tip: Cathy):

A Northern Virginia man who fled the United States more than two years ago and was recently placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list is in the custody of the Somali government, U.S. officials said.

Liban Haji Mohamed, 29, was detained shortly after prosecutors unsealed a warrant for his arrest and the FBI added him to the wanted list in late January. It is unclear how he was taken into custody or how soon he could be brought back to the United States.

The former cabdriver is charged with providing material support and resources to al-Shabab, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization allied with al-Qaeda. He is suspected of having an operational role in al-Shabab and of trying to recruit people to join the group.

When FBI officials announced his inclusion on the most-wanted list, they said Mohamed was “an asset to his terrorist associates who might plot attacks on U.S. soil.” Officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation, noted that he had detailed knowledge of potential targets in Washington.

Unbelievable!

U.S. law enforcement had been attempting to track Mohamed, a naturalized U.S. citizen, before he slipped out of the country and into Mexico on July 12, 2012. The case had frustrated FBI agents who strongly believed Mohamed should have been charged with material support of terrorism while he was living in Fairfax County.

Some federal prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia were willing to do so, though they were overruled by others at the Justice Department, officials said.

Heads should roll over this decision!

For new readers we are admitting over 800 Somalis into the US each month right now!

Was Jihadi John from a refugee family welcomed by the UK?

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 3, 2015

That is a question Daniel Greenfield writing at Frontpage magazine asked yesterday, here.

Based on what we learned about Kuwait’s ‘gifts’ to the UK when ‘Pungentpeppers’ reported on that gruesome murder case recently, if Jihadi John is a ‘Bedouin’ (or is it ‘Bidun’?) his family was likely welcomed to the UK as refugees just like the murderer’s family.

Here is Daniel Greenfield (hat tip: Ed):

The Bidouin were originally nomads who might have lived in Kuwait or Iraq, depending on whom you ask. Kuwait doesn’t provide the Bidouin with citizenship making them stateless. After the Gulf War, Kuwait decided to get rid of more of them for supposedly collaborating with Saddam Hussein. That led to the Emwazi family settling in the UK.

Jihadi John (Mohammed Emwazi), just your friendly Arab next door?

The interesting question is did they come as refugees? Their Bidouin status might have qualified them as refugees in which case that would mean that yet another Muslim atrocity committed against Westerners was carried out by the son of “refugees”.

Here is what ‘Pungentpeppers’ educated us about while reporting on a “refugee” from Kuwait who was convicted of brutally murdering his wife (Kuwait’s Gruesome Gift to Britain: Hajji Wannabe, with Four Wives, Murdered One While Koran Played):

Manaa came to Britain from Kuwait where he had been living as a “Bidun” – a stateless person. Not to be confused with nomadic Bedouin, the “Bidun” (also “Bidoon” or “Bidoun”) reside in Middle Eastern countries without the benefit of citizenship. “Bidun” means “without”; it is shorthand for “without citizenship”. Often Bidun families have lived in countries for generations, but because their illiterate ancestors failed to register when citizenship rolls were taken decades ago, these descendants are denied citizen status. Perhaps eventually DNA testing could establish lineage and rights to citizenship. Meanwhile, some of the “Bidun” take advantage of their unusual situation to apply for refugee status in Western countries where – like this Kuwaiti – they can cause trouble and mayhem.

It doesn’t matter how you spell it, the bottom line is that if Jihadi John is a Bidun, his family very likely came to the UK to benefit from its generosity.
