Syrians to be distributed across America

Posted by Ann Corcoran on September 15, 2015

Update from the editor:  There are stories popping up all over the internet from various parts of the country where Syrians are already being resettled or about to be.  I can’t post them all, so keep an eye on my twitter feed in right hand column and see those stories.

I’m so excited to report that so many other writers, researchers, bloggers, and just plain concerned citizens are working on unearthing the facts on how the federal Refugee Admissions Program works and getting that information to you.   Maybe I can retire soon!

Here Tyler Durden at Zerohedge (hat tip: Christina) has a handy post for you with the newest map on where the resettlement contractors offices are located and you don’t even have to follow a link to access their contact information, he has it all in one post!

Remember though, as you look at the list, that the contractors can spread the refugees out in a one hundred mile radius of their office, and that refugees move from where they were placed, often within a few months.   You might think your town is getting 50-100, but within a few years you have 1,000 as ethnic people move and coalesce (called secondary migration) around others of their kind in certain neighborhoods and towns.

Here is the newest map (go here for enlargement):

Be sure to visit Zerohedge for the all-important list of offices.  Call them, and ask, are they going to bring Syrian (mostly Muslim) refugees to your town?

Pockets of Resistance are forming!

I don’t have an up-to-date list of where they are all located, but, if you would like to be linked with others in your area resisting resettlement of third worlders to your community, go here and sign up (Center for Security Policy) to be included in the new network.

To demand local approval of refugee resettlement, sign the petition!

  1. Will someone PLEASE explain why the overwhelming majority of the Syrian refugees being imported to the US are unskilled, uneducated, unemployable, non-English speaking young,MUSLIM MALES, with no experience, affinity or respect for Western culture or Judeo/Christian values and traditions, who have not signed a loyalty oath or pledged a willingness to assimilate. How much dot connection does it take to conclude that we are breeding and paying for a fertile source of potential 5th column jihadist terrorists. Have we lost all concept of reason, logic and old fashion “COMMON SENSE”!

There is no rational explanation. There are those in high places that want to destroy America and they have many naive and basically good-hearted foot soldiers who are driven by their emotions and assumptions that everyone in the world is just like them and only want a better (material) life. Those bleeding hearts have no understanding, or concept of the Islamic imperative.

  2. Ann, The question of keeping refugees in Turkey begs the question of “Why must refugees be in Turkey in the first place?” The UN ought to think about the total tragedy in its fifth year as people destroy their lives and homelands, not only in Syria but also in Iraq and Afghanistan, in Libya and Yemen, and second only to Syrians–the Palestinians.

The issue is “Why?” The malaise of an incorrigible pseudo-religious extremist group must be opposed by the global efforts of a UN force. That occurred in the Serbian breakup. Earlier, the issue gained only credence in the slaughter of Tutsis by Hutus. Today’s malaise is equally inhuman and gross. The UN is wrong in its emphasis on helping the refugees. They rush from their destroyed homelands into the culture clash that is diametrically different from any other, viz., the Western world with its languages, religions, foods, clothes–its total culture–which are a major obstacle to assimilation anywhere but in the ME.

I favor a UN military effort. It must be spearheaded by nations of the ME. I favor retaining refugees in lands as close to their homelands, their relatives and total cultures as the UN can safely arrange. It will be cheaper to degrade and destroy the inhuman malaise of ISIS while maintaining refugees nearby, and then rebuilding their houses and neighborhoods while, meanwhile, offering education and medical care nearby until their countries are rebuilt. It will be much cheaper from a rebuilding point of view. It will be humane not to force people to shift their cultures to foreign lands. It will be advantageous to employ the refugee adults to work at the rebuilding efforts, offering them both earnings and dignity. No matter where they may insist on going momentarily, they will be labeled
“refugees” for decades if they remain in temporary lodgings, feeding on handouts.

The refugees are rushing out because of the destruction in their wake. They are not rushing out to seek a new life on its own account. They cherish everything in their culture just as the receiving neighborhoods cherish theirs. Terminate the miasma of extremism. Let the UN bring the opposing sides to the peace table asap. Let the UN prepare to use force to comply. Let the acid of hatred give way to religious tolerance on all sides.

Hi Joyce, Yes those are the nine major contractors hired by the federal government to assign refugees to your towns and cities: Church World Service, Episcopal Migration Ministries, Ethiopian Community Development Council,Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, International Rescue Committee, Lutheran Immigration and Rescue Service, US Conference of Catholic Bishops, US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, and World Relief. When you look at the list of addresses for the subcontractors, you will see those same abbreviations in the upper corner of the entry meaning that the agency you are looking at is a subcontractor of one of the nine.
