US Conference of Catholic Bishops want 100,000 Syrians admitted to US this year….

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 11, 2015

….invoke Pope Francis’s name in their appeal.   Does the Pope have this huge number (100,000 mostly Muslim Syrians) in mind for America?

Archbishop Kurtz

Archbishop Joseph Kurtz of Kentucky is the President of the USCCB and is advocating for 100,000 Syrian, mostly Muslim, refugees to be placed in your parishes!

We know that the Bishops are pushing for this outrageous number already, but many good Catholics may not.   A Catholic reader directed my attention to the Bishops’ website, here.

Our reader, Mark, says he received an e-mail with a link to this site, which among other things, urges faithful Catholics to write a letter to Obama to try and persuade him to admit 100,000 Syrians PLUS another 100,000 refugees in one year.

The Bishops surely are not telling local priests and parishioners that they are raking in millions of dollars of cold hard cash from federal taxpayers for refugee resettlement activities.  And, they aren’t telling them that they are NOT advocating to save the persecuted Christians of Syria through this program.

From the USCCB:

The political and humanitarian crisis in Syria is a serious concern for the Catholic Church and the bishops of the United States. In the past five years, at least four million Syrians have fled their country as a consequence of the civil war and the rise of ISIS. Most have fled to surrounding countries, especially Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey, and many others have moved on to Europe with the hope of finding a place of peace and safety. Pope Francis and the Catholic bishops have called on the U.S. government and the international community to provide support to both Syrian refugees fleeing violence and to countries that have been at the forefront of this humanitarian effort. These recommendations include:

*Providing 100,000 annual resettlement slots for the most vulnerable refugees fleeing the Syria conflict.

*Designating an additional 100,000 refugees to be resettled in the U.S. from other countries.

See the Archbishop’s statement here.

The USCCB needs to admit loud and clear to every Catholic in America how much money they get from the taxpayers for their “Migration Fund!”

See here, over $80 million in one recent year. This is NOT Christian charity!

And, one more thing, we are hearing rumors that various Catholic Charities are gearing up in parishes across the country to increase their refugee load to your town or city this year.  More later….

Hey you Marxist POS Pope, the Federal government’s primary responsibility is to protect its CITIZENS, not illegal immigrants. The US is a sovereign nation with borders and laws, just like the Catholic Church has laws and rules. Why not open up the Vatican and let the “migrants” in and then start redistributing the wealth of the Catholic Church?

…and this my friends is why the Catholic Church should not take taxpayers money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they bring hundreds of thousands of people into this country who refuse to adopt our laws and culture and we have to support them and our borders continue to be open to all, those who love and hate us ,we will fail as many societies in the past have done. Where are the nuns that taught me? Turning in their graves I am sure!

  15. If we were to allow 100,000 here, only a handful perhaps 5 or 10 would be christians, the rest Muslims. WTF is wrong with the catholic church today. Didn’t they turn a blind eye when Hitler was murdering millions of Jews? It wouldn’t be so bad if they were christians coming here, but we all know that won’t happen. Obama continues to deny christians access to this country. Only Moozlem savages need apply.

I have continued to investigate the relationship between the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and LIRS. The LCMS website has a FAQ refugee fact sheet with the following response to the question, ‘Is the LCMS working with LIRS and LWR?”

“We are not connected to the refugee work of Lutheran World Relief at this time, and our relationship with,
and support for, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services is limited. LIRS is not a Synod organization, not a
Recognized Service Organization and is not officially tied to any church body.” At least they state that LIRS is not a Christian charity!

LCMS does admit, however, that they refer cases to LIRS in Baltimore and are working with Selbständige Evangelisch-Lutherische Kirche (SELK) in Germany (their sister organization). The fact sheet states that “as many refugees are given a minimal
allowance from the German government, the SELK uses funds and donations to help refugees with their
physical needs, purchase furniture, etc.” I would assume that those funds come from LIRS, to whom these refugees have been referred.

    More digging is required.

So are the Bishops planning on using some of the mulit millions of $$/bounties they get for charitable people trafficking to pay for the humongously expensive medical care, etc. for these imported Muslim refugees”? A Czech doctor has had her eyes opened while working in a European hospital treating their new arrivals. She wonders where all the greeters with “Welcome refugees” signs have gone and would like to round them up and make them work in the hospital so they can see who they’ve welcomed.

Remember these are the SAME people we are bringing into the USA by the hundreds of thousands. Get out your wallets and expect your culture and cities/towns to change (not for the better) and your property and personal taxes to escalate. After all, someone has to pay for these gimmi-grants who will likely never work.

Excerpts from her letter – more via below link:

“Many Muslims are refusing treatment by female staff and, we, women, are refusing to go among those animals, especially from Africa. Relations between the staff and migrants are going from bad to worse. Since last weekend, migrants going to the hospitals must be accompanied by police with K-9 units.

Many migrants have AIDS, syphilis, open TB and many exotic diseases that we, in Europe, do not know how to treat them. If they receive a prescription in the pharmacy, they learn they have to pay cash. This leads to unbelievable outbursts, especially when it is about drugs for the children. They abandon the children with pharmacy staff with the words: “So, cure them here yourselves!” So the police are not just guarding the clinics and hospitals, but also large pharmacies.

. . .Until now, the number of unemployed in Germany was 2.2 million. Now it will be at least 3.5 million. Most of these people are completely unemployable. A bare minimum of them have any education. What is more, their women usually do not work at all. I estimate that one in ten is pregnant. Hundreds of thousands of them have brought along infants and little kids under six, many emaciated and neglected. If this continues and German re-opens its borders, I’m going home to the Czech Republic. Nobody can keep me here in this situation, not even double the salary than at home. I went to Germany, not to Africa or the Middle East.

. . .In a hospital near the Rhine, migrants attacked the staff with knives after they had handed over an 8-month-old on the brink of death, which they had dragged across half of Europe for three months. The child died in two days, despite having received top care at one of the best pediatric clinics in Germany. The physician had to undergo surgery and two nurses are laid up in the ICU. Nobody has been punished.

The local press is forbidden to write about it, so we know about it through email. What would have happened to a German if he had stabbed a doctor and nurses with a knife? Or if he had flung his own syphilis-infected urine into a nurse’s face and so threatened her with infection? At a minimum he’d go straight to jail and later to court. With these people – so far, nothing has happened.

  24. The Catholic Church and all of these other Christian groups who are suckling at the government teat by bringing in thousands of ‘refugees’ are causing lots of strife in our society. One wonders if they have read the beatitudes, especially:
Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall be called sons of God.
