HIAS: “….most critical action we will ever ask you to take”

Posted by Ann Corcoran on November 30, 2015

HIAS is the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society and they are lobbying hard against the so-called “Safe Act” that may (or may not) be taken up by the Senate.

Hetfield Judiciary Committee

Mark Hetfield, Pres and CEO of HIAS is telling open borders activists that this is the most important threat to their plans, probably since the Refugee Act was passed in 1980. In my opinion, it’s not the ‘Safe Act,’ they should worry about, it is that public opinion is turning on the whole notion of third worlders being admitted en masse to America.

As I said earlier this morning and over the weekend—-they (the Left, the No Borders agitators, the resettlement contractors, Obama) have never been so threatened by a public relations backlash against the entire refugee resettlement apparatus and their taxpayer-funded livelihoods as they have post-Paris.

However, you and I know the “Safe Act” (which passed the House before the Thanksgiving recess) is only a diversionary measure to make us feel good—that our safety matters—but will never amount to much as the Obama Administration will simply declare that they have fully complied and screening is secure.

Nevertheless…..

This is what HIAS (one of nine major federal contractors) is saying in an action alert this morning.  If you are a reader more concerned with illegal immigration, know that HIAS was a leading organizer in support of the Gang of Eight Amnesty bill a few years ago.   They are for more immigration legal or illegal!

Tell Your Senators to Keep the Door Open for Refugees

This is one of the most critical actions we will ever ask you to take.

The House of Representatives recently voted to pass legislation that could severely restrict refugee admissions into the United States. The “America SAFE Act” goes against our basic principles of welcoming the stranger and helping those in need. It would add layers of red tape — but no real security enhancements — to a program that is already effectively screening for security.

As the Senate prepares to debate similar anti-refugee legislation, they need to hear the voices of supporters of refugee resettlement. Send a message to your Senators now urging them to keep the door open for refugees.

Now, go here and see the text of the message they want their followers to send to US Senators.

I continue to be perplexed why a Jewish organization is so eager to admit mostly Muslim Syrians!

Best read up on the ‘Spanish’ Jewish community’s enthusiastic complicity in the Muslim invasion of Spain, a Muslim occupation that lasted over 700 years.

  16. HEBREW IMMIGRANT AID SOCIETY (HIAS), international immigrant and refugee service. HIAS was founded in New York City in 1881, when the Russian Emigrant Relief Committee, a temporary body established to help Jews escaping Czarist Russia, formed the Hebrew Emigrant Aid Society. ____________ from the internet

My comment is I am Jewish and perhaps my grandparents were helped out by the HIAS. But today this organization is a disgrace that brings in few Jews while mostly bringing in Muslim refugees so they can keep their bloated salaries. A far cry from this aid groups humble origins.

If they open their books my bet is I will find that 90% of the refugee business they do (and it is a business) is with Muslim refugees who are presently 70% of the current refugee flow into America. Do they bring in any Christians? How about HIAS bring some in from Syria and the Middle East?

Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County in Ann Arbor, Mich., also a HIAS affiliate, has taken in 16 Syrian refugees. By the time refugees arrive in the United States, explained Anya Abramzon, JFS executive director, they have gone through multiple rounds of screening and have often waited two or three years to get into the country.

“This is one of the key principles that our organization’s been built on: welcoming the stranger,” said Abramzon. The Jewish and Christian communities, she added, have helped refugees obtain household items and other necessities through congregation-sponsored resettlement drives.

In addition to assistance with bureaucratic matters, [such as signing up for SSI, SNAP, TAP, …. ]

Salaam, Shalom: From Baghdad to Ann Arbor by Eve Silberman From the September, 2013 issue

Under contract with the State Department via the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, JFS is responsible for helping them get settled. As refugees, they’re allowed to work immediately and also to collect welfare benefits if they can’t immediately find jobs.
… Sussman and Abramzon believe the Iraqis will continue to dominate their clientele for a while. But Sussman, who follows world news closely, told me at our first interview last spring that she was sure the next group to come in large numbers would be the Syrians: “I’m waiting with bated breath for when they’re coming.”

In July, the first Syrians turned up at JFS.

  18. Dear Mrs. Corcoran,
I have a very simple explanation and respond to your question:”why a Jewish organization is so eager to admit mostly Muslim Syrians!”.
The major intent is displace Syrians, take over their territory, clean it for expansion of Israel.Israel does not wish a new palestinian story, they wish clear territory.
Look at a map of Syria and Israel ,look at a battles map….it will be clear. All Jews know it and they give their contribution to this Great Israel.
ISIL is made by this purpose.Arabic mortal springtime is done by this purpose.True is,as always-very simple and old thousands years-somebody wish to take over something that does not belong them
Sorry for my bad English,I hope that you could understand me.

  19. It is very simple, Ann. It has been the Jewish strategy in this country since they passed the 1965 Immigration Act to do everything possible to flood this country with immigration (legal and illegal) in order to dilute the white, Christian based societal structure.
