Montana update: Rally Monday as citizens protest refugee resettlement plans

Residents are not taking plans to bring Syrian refugees to ‘Big Sky Country’ lying down….

Middle Eastern and African refugees chosen by the United Nations could soon be on the way to Montana.

This is an update (with lots more detail than we provided) to our post of earlier this week.

From Leo Hohmann at World Net Daily, entitled:

‘Plan to infuse small towns with Muslim migrants meets resistance.’

Another big battle is brewing over Syrian “refugees” sweeping into small-town America.

Rural folks in Montana are pushing back against plans by urban elites to plant hundreds of Muslims from the Third World into Helena and Missoula. They plan a protest rally at 10 a.m. Monday in front of the county courthouse in Missoula. And if the pattern holds of similar rallies in Twin Falls, Idaho, and Fargo, North Dakota, a contingent of pro-refugee people will show up to counter protest.

Of all the 50 states, there are only two that have not received their “share” of the nearly 1 million Muslim refugees that have been infused into more than 180 U.S. cities and towns over the past 35 years, compliments of the U.S. State Department and the United Nations.

Those states are Wyoming and Montana.

[….]

As WND has reported, Obama’s plan to import Syrian and other Muslim refugees has met spirited resistance in South Carolina, Idaho, Minnesota, North Dakota and Michigan. Residents in many areas of these states have let it be known they are not on board with the progressive vision of a multicultural America. They argue, with mounting evidence, that such policies in Europe have led to rampant crime, mass rapes and terrorism.

And the multicultural vision is no longer limited to gateway cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles or Miami.

Small cities like Boise, Idaho; Fargo, North Dakota; Wichita, Kansas – and now Helena and Missoula, Montana – are vying for a bigger slice of the refugee pie.

Here in “Big Sky Country” local politicians in Missoula, working with pro-immigrant NGOs, are inviting the federal government to begin sending Syrians, comparing them to the Hmong refugees who fled Vietnam’s communists in the late 1970s. They have not been deterred by the fact that 98 percent of Syrian refugees are Sunni Muslims, the vast majority of whom FBI Director James Comey admits are impossible to vet for ties to terrorism.

Despite Comey’s warnings, the Missoula Board of County Commissioners sent a letter on Jan. 13 to the U.S. State Department requesting Syrian refuges. “We look forward to seeing approximately 100 refugees per year resettled in Missoula,” the letter states.

  5. Ann, MANY years ago I read a book by Dale Carnegie entitled ‘How To Stop Worrying And Start Living’. One facet of his overall plan suggested that in any situation Always prepare for the worst case scenario; his logic being that if indeed the worst case comes to pass you are at least prepared. If, hopefully, it does not, you will emerge a happy person. In either instance you will survive. However, if worst case scenario becomes the new reality, pity those who prepared not.

There are so very many of our people who are at least partly aware of the dangers that lie before us and are doing nothing to guarantee their own survival. They are busy doing Cruz support groups, Trump support groups, and engaging in verbal assaults on the other group and being blocked for their efforts. They should spend more time reading your findings, and the findings of others who try to present the truth. Sadly, they are pinning all of their hopes on their chosen messiah being elected in November. Their fears and state of mind have induced tunnel vision and denial, and I can only forecast a dismal future for them.

I am a worst case scenario kind of person and believe that to a degree you are as well; as indicated by your thoughts that if November finds us with a new Progressive in the Oval Office then America is finished. I could not agree with you more. I see two possible futures for November: Your worst fears will either occur or we will have no election at all.

Above you celebrate Montana opposing the arrival of more Islamic immigrants. This is a victory, albeit a small one, that I fear will do absolutely nothing to prevent the Globalist plan to infiltrate American culture. Note the following link:

    http://www.cnn.com/2014/07/02/us/california-immigrant-transfers/

July 2, 2014 busloads of Hispanic illegals were scheduled to be dropped in Murrieta California. The brave citizens of that town formed a roadblock and managed to turn those buses back. Victory? Perhaps, but a very shallow one, as the agenda is quite flexible in its implementation. Those Hispanics were simply dropped in another town and the buses returned to their home base to pick up their next load of illegal invaders.

Missoula Montana may well succeed in turning away their quota of Muslims but that quota will still be met in some adjoining state or another town in Montana seeking federal dollars. Net gain: A few Globalists will become somewhat aggravated but will continue their mission. That mission cannot be stopped. The powers that be have the authority to do most anything they so choose, leading to our worst case scenario on their schedule.

Ann, I in no way mean to dissuade you in your efforts, for I applaud them. You are one of the truly great American patriots and we could certainly use more citizens with your character, zeal, and determination. Even if you fail to stop this accursed invasion, you at least are exposing the corruption and alerting many to the danger who would otherwise be oblivious to current events. That is a victory unto itself. Your labors may one day be rewarded in innocent lives saved because they listened while there was yet time.

I simply hope that if we do fail, thanks to the efforts of people like you, many who were lost before are now preparing for that worst case scenario and will survive the coming anarchy and chaos, ready to rebuild when the dust settles.

I don’t think the situation is hopeless. I now see negative comments posted on the LIRS blog (which never happened before). People don’t like seeing burkas in their neighborhoods. There are now so many immigrants that folks are starting to notice. And readership to this blog is growing. Plus many groups are starting to link and organize. Jim Simpson of American Thinker is connecting like-minded individuals across the country, including radio talk show hosts, members of Numbers USA, readers of this blog, and anyone who wants to get involved politically. One of the reasons the Lord of the Rings series was so popular is because they never gave up, and neither should we.

      • Give up? I have never and will never advocate surrender. It is not in my vocabulary. As General McAuliffe told the the Germans when they called for the surrender of the 101st Airborne Division at Bastogne: “Nuts!”. As a young paratrooper in the 101st so many years ago I was not trained to surrender. I was trained to be mentally alert and accept the situation around me, and adjust my strategy according to that situation.

Anyone who accepts today’s political realities knows that elections can be rigged. The dead can be expected to vote Democratic, as well as so many illegal immigrants, and it is realistic to assume that buses will once again be waiting at the 2016 voting booths to take the Democratic loyal to yet more voting booths that day.

Men of honor behave honorably and we can expect them to vote but once. The same cannot be said about the left. If indeed an election occurs this year I fully expect the left to be the victors, and at the moment the only hope of conservatives is to win that election, and hope is not a strategy. Even Ann Corcoran acknowledges that if the left wins in November, it is all over for America.

My whole point is that the fall of this nation is virtually inevitable. They have all of the cards. They have all of the power, and they do not hesitate to abuse that power. Our ONLY real hope is to survive their scheduled collapse and come out the other side fighting, and we are far better armed than are the liberals of this nation.

That collapse will be followed by a period of anarchy and chaos, and chaos works both ways. While they are looting and burning we can organize. There will be but a brief window in which to do this and if our people are cut from the same mold as our forebears we shall be victorious, if not, history will record the fall of another apathetic people.

Ann Corcoran, @RefugeeWatcher =Why doesn’t Barack Obama visit these People on his neighborhood of Hyde Park adjacent to the University of Chicago that has a World Renown School and Museum of Oriental (Arabs) Studies. It’s a wIn, wIn for everyone. I don’t know if the President’s daughters will still have Secret Service Protection but Hyde Park is one of the safest areas of Chicago and 10,000 Syrian Refugees aren’t to many =fof =the President, Agency =and Police to handle.

People are becoming more aware. South Carolina lawmakers have introduced a bill requiring that refugees be tracked.
