Coming April 25th? A clothing line for fashionable refugee activists

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 21, 2016

As reader John, who sent this tweet to me said, ‘you can’t make this up!’ Or, you could!  (Posted here because we have to laugh from time to time. Alinsky said so!)

Laugh of the day….

Marvaan clothes

Spoof?

There is a Marvaan website, here. Check it out!  And, they do make some clothing including this “belong” shawl. Buy it to help the homeless in Toronto (there will be many more there after the Syrians get all the public housing).

I guess you will have to wait until Friday to see if they have launched a collection “inspired by the Syrian refugee crisis.” Or not!

The shawl made by Afghans isn’t bad (only 7 left at this time) and Afghans make very nice tribal rugs (not for sale), but….the clothing is raggy (not sure who makes it (Nepal?)! Still, it will probably catch on with lefties in the U.S.

Wow, how fashionable would I look in that gear? I see homeless down-and-out panhandlers better dressed than those guys. Is this a joke?
