St. Cloud terror attack at mall, 8 injured, but what’s taking so long to identify dead jihadi?

Posted by Ann Corcoran on September 18, 2016

Update:  Surprise! (not!). He is a Somali, here.

Update: ISIS says he is one of theirs. So they know who he is and we don’t (and it is nearly noon eastern). See ISIS taking credit here.

Sheesh, they know who this guy is, the one who went on a stabbing attack at a St. Cloud, Minnesota mall and was subsequently shot to death. So what takes them so long to announce to the public who the “man” is—a refugee or an American convert to Islam?

Did he act alone?

I’ve been searching and searching so at 6 a.m. on Sunday morning this is about all there is on what obviously was a terror attack (whatever else they want to call it).  By the way, we have written extensively on St. Cloud over the years and have visited the troubled city twice, most recently on my roadtrip to see towns and cities overloaded and troubled with large numbers of refugees.

From AP story:

People stand near the entrance on the north side of Crossroads Center mall between Macy's and Target as officials investigate a reported multiple stabbing incident, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, in St. Cloud, Minn. Police said multiple people were injured at the St. Cloud shopping mall on Saturday evening in an attack possibly involving both shooting and stabbing. The suspect is believed to be dead, St. Cloud Police Sgt. Jason Burke told the St. Cloud Times. (Dave Schwarz/St. Cloud Times via AP)

Waiting for news on loved ones. People stand near the entrance on the north side of Crossroads Center mall between Macy’s and Target as officials investigate a reported multiple stabbing incident, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, in St. Cloud, Minn. (Dave Schwarz/St. Cloud Times via AP)

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — At least eight people were taken to a hospital with injuries after a stabbing attack at a Minnesota shopping mall that ended with the suspected attacker, who reportedly made references to Allah, shot dead by an off-duty police officer, authorities said.

St. Cloud Police Chief Blair Anderson said during a news conference shortly after midnight that eight people were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the attack first reported about 8:15 p.m. Saturday. One person was admitted. No further details were released.

Anderson said an off-duty police officer from another jurisdiction shot and killed the unidentified suspect. He did not say where that officer serves.

During the news conference, Anderson said the attacker who was armed with a knife reportedly made references to Allah during the attack and asked at least one person whether they were Muslim.

But Anderson declined to call the attacks an act of terrorism, saying the motive for the attacks isn’t known yet. “We will be diligent and get to the bottom of this,” Anderson said.

More when the attacker is identified.

I wonder did ISIS send out instructions and three of their followers were activated yesterday—in New Jersey, New York City and St. Cloud, MN.

Mohamed Atta: “Just stay quiet and you’ll be OK” It might be better to complain loudly about allowing large numbers of Muslims to continue to immigrate into the United States. (This is a Reblog.)

Gosh, Fox commentators are actually discussing refugees and jihad and not in a favorable light. Maybe this RRP needs to be stopped. Ya think?

They’re still looking for his pre-conversion name to identify him by.

Same-o, Same-o PC media. Was reading the CBS report. The attack was just an “incident.” My favorite was that the attacker “made a reference to Allah.” Yes, I guess he happened to mention that among many other comments, like on the weather and the high prices at the mall.

My poor mother. She lives in Minnesota, a once pristine and enviable place to be from. When I lived with her a few years ago it was a nightmare. A third World nightmare. Mall of ‘Africa’ is unbearable, because the veiled woman with strollers would always knock us off the walkways. I began to ‘study Islam’ and read a line that ‘when you walk, force the infidels into the gutter’, so they do it on purpose. The state is so ‘liberal’ (I use that word with hesitation, Kennedy would never have dreamed of doing this to his own) they will give away everything, and then when nice areas have gone bad, oh yes, the Somali areas are pretty, lovely old homes from the 1920s, all FREE and not being cared for. Then people complained their neighbor hood was ‘bad’ and they moved them out to Eden Prairie and other wealthy suburbs. my child had to go to school with girls covered head to toe. I pulled her out and homeschooled. I was not even given textbooks by our expensive district. So we paid for other people to get educated and not my own child who I had to protect. I am legally disbled and was forced to move to where the father is for ‘men’s rights’ but he told the court he is broke. I found there were NO RESOURCES for me and my child. I am educated and worked in NYc but now I am disabled and there is NOTHING. I am very sick as I write this because I went to some filthy places, one had NO SOAP, Family Support Services, although they are United Way funded. I went on the refugee resettlement site and saw that your electric can be paid always. This is not so for my little girl and myself. We are paying enormous taxes, everything is sales tax in Washington there is no income tax, so we are paying the burden of this and there are no services for us. I sold everything I had, family heirlooms, and people told me I was not trying hard enough. After being in a no ventilation waiting room for many hours even though I was the second to show up, because I have asthma and went as soon as I could to get out. I was the LAST person seen, by Coco, who THEN informed me they pick according to who they want to see first.

As long and dull as this is, it points out something almost akin to genocide. The first question on ALL forms is ; RACE. I have written to congress and received no answers. meanwhile, the Housing Authority has put up a splendid new building and we have refugee immigrants all over who have expensive cell phones and cars. I have been filming and photographing them when I am out a little if they do not see me.

Not ONLY are we spending a fortune on these terrorists, someone is targeting the base population and they have NO MERCY. I pray I can get the rent together, once again.

    • I’m Canadian and am grateful for Ann’s blog and people like you who take the time to post stories like this. We are in deep trouble…we are frogs in a pot. Western countries taken down the path to ruin by UN agenda indoctrinated leaders.

The guy might turn out to be an Internationalist? NYC Mayor di Blasio is saying the pressure cooker bomb that went off last night might be an “International” crime.

We know who he is. Blocking his name is part of treatment we always get since they moved in 11 yes ago. Media are a big part of the problem of course.
