Senator Jeff Sessions’ Senate subcommittee has re-scheduled Refugee Oversight hearing

Posted by Ann Corcoran on September 24, 2016

This is the same hearing that the Dept. of State said they couldn’t attend last week because they were too busy hobnobbing at the United Nations.

One of those scheduled to testify is Bob Carey the Director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (HHS). Carey came to his government job from a major refugee contracting job at the International Rescue Committee. He had previously served as chair of the Refugee Council USA, the lobbying arm for the refugee industry. (Revolving door!)

The hearing in Sessions’ subcommittee ‘Immigration and the National Interest’ will be this coming Wednesday, the 28th.

Go here for details.

I’m thinking that maybe you should tell your US Senators on Monday and Tuesday to take the time this week to attend Sessions’ hearing so they won’t be so ignorant about this program that is changing (and endangering!) America. It is a good excuse to call them.

Heck, you could even tell  your House Members to walk across the Hill and stop in since the House Judiciary Committee (Rep. Trey Gowdy is Sessions’ counterpart in the House) isn’t doing anything.

Again, check out the Senate Subcommittee website here. I expect they will be live-streaming the event.

For a reminder of what happened at this same hearing last year, go here.

And, by the way, until Sessions’ hearing last year, Congress had not been doing its legally required hearing on the Presidential Determination.  I believe that hearing was the first since 9/11.

Here is what I said last year about the law!  LOL! I wonder if there is anyway to sue the House Judiciary Committee for breaking the law?

These refugee contractors-and government organization people make so much money-we make squat &can’t afford to retire- The judicial committee doesn’t even bother to attend the sessions and even if they did they probably wouldn’t do a thing-to protect America-can you imagine if you or Michael or me got paid to do our jobs without even going? 3. 5 families in Washington state should file lawsuits. The local sheriff should issue ARREST WARRANTS for Obama, Kerry, Hillary.
Do not just report “atrocities”, do not just sit & CRY. ….. Provide SOLUTIONS. Put FEAR into the politicians & priests. Gonna scream this til People wake up: Politicians and Priests that “Open the Gates of the City” to raping pillaging INVADERS, are PERSONALLY FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE for the damage they cause. Get it into the heads of People injured by the INVADERS, that the deep-pocket Politicians & Priests OWE THEM 100% REPARATIONS. Make these PUKES start PAYING for the damage they cause then see what happens. Get some hungry lawyers after the assets of those churches and politicians……. Quit letting the Politicians & Priests create chaos and bloodshed and walk away. Make THEM pay a price. their children
TAKE all their possessions to pay REPARATIONS to the victims of the Refujihadis THEY bring in for PROFIT
It is time the Politicians start serving jail sentences for the crimes of the INVADERS since the Politicians are ACCOMPLICES to every crime due to their letting the INVADERS in.
NOTHING speaks LOUDER to a priest then the silence of an empty collection plate. Stop all donations to those who betray you and by the way, Why are all these EFFEMINATE priests not complaining about the REFUSAL of mudslum countries to allow CHURCHES?!

I must applaud you for all the boatloads of work you do, managing to keep people informed, and, somehow, maintaining a sense of humor despite all the danger you are able to make apparent regarding the current affairs related to immigration. Thank you Ann.
