US State Department shoving refugees down their throats in Rutland, VT

Posted by Ann Corcoran on September 29, 2016

After months and months of meetings and angry protests, the US State Department has decided to ignore the controversy and begin sending refugees to Rutland before the end of the year.

Just a reminder that the DOS told Senator Sessions subcommittee yesterday that they haven’t decided how many of the 110,000 refugees Obama wants admitted beginning Saturday will be in that number.  We recently reported that a contractor spilled the beans in California and said it would be 20,000-30,000.

This is the woman who will now be deciding Rutland’s demographic and cultural future. She is the CEO of USCRI and Stacie Blake’s boss. And, she is responsible for the troubles in Twin Falls, Idaho. Limon formerly headed the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement under Bill Clinton. Learn more about her here:

I predict there will be a wild orgy of resettlements across America in October, November and December and right up until inauguration day so that this administration can get as many ‘new Americans’ seeded before the start of a new presidency.

Of course, if Hillary wins we are done, and, with agreement from the Republican leadership (and the Chamber of Commerce), our gates will be thrown open.

Be sure to see our post yesterday where the embattled (now victorious) Rutland mayor was selling refugee resettlement to rural upstate New York.  He called his local opponents on the issue “ignorant by design.”

Here is the news from Vermont Digger:

RUTLAND — Rutland has been selected as a resettlement site for 100 Syrian and Iraqi refugees, according to a State Department spokesperson. The announcement comes after five months of heated debate over whether this small city has the capacity to take in refugees fleeing violence in the Middle East.

“I’m delighted that the Department of State has the faith in our community to be a host city for refugee resettlement,” said Mayor Chris Louras after the announcement Wednesday. “We understand it’s not going to be easy, that there will be challenges, but this community is at its very best when it rises to the challenge.”

Stacie Blake, director of government and community relations for the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, said she believes the first families will arrive in mid-December or early January. Blake said USCRI will open an office in Rutland and have two full-time staff members. Staff will undergo an intensive training process that includes working in the agency’s Colchester office, Blake said.

A State Department spokesperson said that although the proposal for 100 refugees has been approved, the number is subject to change. Once refugees arrive in the United States they are free to live wherever they choose.

This is what they will do to any town that thinks it will only be 50 or 100 refugees. Next year it will be 150-200 and pretty soon Rutland will be Lancaster, PA with 700 a year and many many problems!

By the way, does Rutland have a mosque yet? Just asking.

If I lived in Rutland, although too late as your governor and Obama are shoving the refugees down your throats, I would do everything in my power to get rid of this mayor.

The Syrian Refugee Resettlement Is Being Done in Secret

Judicial Watch released 128 pages of documents Friday that it received from Mayor Christopher Louras of Rutland, Vermont, in which there appears to have been a “concerted effort” to “conceal from the public their plans to resettle 100 Syrian refugees” into the southern Vermont town.
It is just a microcosm of what is going on throughout the U.S., the government watchdog says.
In one email dated April 14, Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program Executive Director Amila Merdzanovic told Louras:
I want to share with you the concern my HQ has about holding a public forum. If we open it up to anybody and everybody, all sorts of people will come out of woodwork. Anti-immigrant, anti-anything. They suggest that the forum be invite only but make it as wide as possible. Work with faith leaders, United Way, etc. … Perhaps, we could go back to the Congregational Church and continue the conversation there.
Judicial Watch says the plan to resettle refugees—many of whom are unvetted, despite reports that ISIS and radical Islamic tendencies are running rampant through their numbers—was shrouded “in such secrecy that not even the town’s aldermen were informed” of what was happening. They eventually wrote to the U.S. Department of State to protest the plan and opened their own investigation into the mayor’s actions.
The State Department has not yet ruled on whether it will resettle refugees in Rutland despite the aldermen’s protest.
The documents suggested the conversation about refugees wasn’t framed in terms of what the community could do for the Syrians, but rather what the added diversity would do for the town and its citizens. As for the former, however, the documents contain detailed discussions of what Rutland was required to provide, including housing, jobs, medical care and places for worship.
The documents also included an April 10 email to the director of the State Refugee Office stating:
He did share with me that the governor’s office called him after getting a frantic call from DOL [Vermont Department of Labor] inquiring about the plan to resettle ‘100 Syrians in the next month’ in Rutland. Again, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of not sharing the information even if it is confidentially.
Judicial Watch has been investigating the Obama administration’s plan to bring 10,000 Syrian refugees to the U.S. in 2016 and even more in 2017 since December of last year. The White House has insisted on pressing ahead, despite more than 120 dead and 350 wounded in terror attacks linked to Islamists who infiltrated the Syrian refugee program.
“Americans should be concerned that the Obama administration is funneling at least $46 million in tax dollars to a shady operation that encourages elected officials to cover up Obama’s Syrian refugee scheme,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said.

  3. “We understand ….that there will be CHALLENGES” – Mayor Chris Louras

    What that means :

We understand that there will be muggings, assaults, intimidation, porperty crimes, rapes, pedophila and possibly even murder (beheadings, stabbings, bombs, and the like).
But, since we will be sure to put these barbaric scum into really poor neighborhoods far away from those of us involved in city politics, who cares?

Check out their web pages, they BRAG about what they are doing. Cut off ALL “churches” and those not involved will pressure those who ARE —- Dry up the MONEY of those JUDAS ISCARIOTS that are betraying us.
That’s why I say just cut off ALL of them …. they DO understand EMPTY collection plates and “word” will get around very quickly IF People will STAND UP.
