Coming by 2019! Sweden will sink under this load as family reunification ramps up

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 31, 2016

Invasion of Europe news….

Sweden is my guess for the first European country to completely implode with the burden of needy Middle Eastern and African refugees (it has been my choice for years).  Although, I admit, Germany (larger and wealthier) is working hard to catch up with Sweden.

Pay attention to this ‘family reunification’ issue because it is going to impact your American town—you will see it in a year or two in the newly selected resettlement sites.***

Just as your town realizes you can’t handle the numbers coming, you will be called mean-spirited and worse if you try to deny the ‘family’ members the ‘right’ to join those who arrived in the first wave.

Here is the story this morning at Speisa (New Gigantic Migration Shock):

SWEDEN — “It’s a level we’ve never seen before,” said the Moderates’ migration policy spokesperson Johan Forssell when he told Aftonbladet that over 300,000 cases of family reunifications are expected by 2019. The record figures come from the Migration Board’s forecast, according to Aftonbladet.

The huge migration wave last year could be repeated and almost doubled when over 300,000 family members are expected to arrive up to the year 2019.

When Aftonbladet talks with Johan Forssell, he says it is a large volume to handle.

It’s a level we’ve never seen before. Until 2019, it is about 317,000 cases. This will have a major impact on the issues of housing, jobs, schools, health care. It underlines that we need to have long-term and sustainable immigration policies, says Forsell.

More here.

For more on the ‘Invasion of Europe’ click here.  And, for my huge archive on Sweden, go here.

***These are the locations we have identified so far that have been targeted by the US Dept. of State as new resettlement sites.  We hear there are 47 of them (the remainder are still secret).

This is the largest number in one year perhaps since the program began in 1980. They must get these offices open because a) Obama has proposed astronomical numbers for FY17, b) because once opened, offices are hard to close, and c) they want to get as many open and running before a possible Donald Trump Administration takes office in January.

Once the first batches are resettled the contractors go to work bringing in the family members. They will vilify you if you try to stop the “reunification.”

Angry, unhappy, disillusioned Syrians want to go home (from all over the world!)

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 31, 2016

I want you to see three stories this morning!

Everyone take note (especially paternalistic do-gooders)!

I predict there will be more news like this as massive numbers of Syrians are moving around the world and many are finding that home is better than St. Louis, Missouri, the United Kingdom or Greece.

United States

From St. Louis via KMOX (hat tip: Joanne):

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – After escaping war in their homeland, some Syrian refugees are afraid of getting shot in their new home – in north St. Louis.

syrian-refugees-more-police-please

Oh the irony, Syrians in St. Louis want more police protection (in the land of Black Lives Matter)!

Syrians living at an apartment complex near Page and Hodiamont met with their neighborhood Alderman, and with a representative of the agency that placed them here, the International Institute.***

The hour-long meeting dealt with complaints of gunfire in the night, roaches, mice, and rats.

One Syrian woman, speaking through a translator, says it’s so bad she phoned friends at a refugee camp in Jordan to warn them not to come to St. Louis.

Continue here.

This is not an unusual story, we have heard it very often over the years. Refugee contractors place refugees in dreadful neighborhoods—ha! diversity does not bring strength!

United Kingdom

Then how about this story from the UK: Do not come to the UK says Syrian ‘refugee.’

A 28-year-old Syrian migrant who has been in Britain just 11 days says he is “miserable” and wants to go back to his life in his war-torn country saying it “is better than it is here.”

Abdul Kader al-Zuebi, who was once a military doctor in the Syrian army, says he fled the war in his homeland because he did not want to have to kill.

He now says he has grown frustrated with being unable to rent a home or seek work as a doctor in the UK, complaining that officials do not know where his passport is and are refusing to let him leave.

Kader al-Zuebi has a British fiancee and three relatives living in the UK.

The authorities have been putting him up in hostels in Dulwich and Cardiff, which he describes as “miserable.”

[….]

He added: “It is a big lie to be in the UK, we think the UK is something from the heavens.”

[….]

“I would rather be in Aleppo than stay here. I want to deport myself,” he said, adding “I would tell those arriving from Calais to go back. It is better than it is here,” according to the Express.

Greece

And then this is from Greece. Syrians have started the long trip home!

Didymoteicho (Greece) (AFP) – “I want to go back to Syria. There is war in my country, but we’ve been living for seven months in Greece like prisoners.”

Adan, from Aleppo, has abandoned his dream of building a new life in Europe, like thousands of other Syrians trapped in Greece.

He’s just arrived at the station in Didymoteicho, a village near the Greece-Turkey border, with his wife, three children and five other relatives, and is preparing to go through a police checkpoint before trying to get into Turkey, the start of a long journey home.

More here.

There should be an ad campaign highlighting these stories and broadcast around the world!

angelina-and-limon

***The International Institute of St. Louis responsible for placing the Syrians in a bad neighborhood is a subcontractor of the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) (97% funded by you, the taxpayer.)

USCRI is the federal contractor responsible for Twin Falls, Idaho, Reno, Nevada and Rutland, VT to name a few and its CEO is Lavinia Limon, pals with Angelina Jolie.

The Dept. of State has previously shuttered subcontractors of USCRI for problems such as the one described here. The most memorable case was in Waterbury, CT back in May 2008.  Maybe Angelina needs to have a word with Ms. Limon.

From Michigan: An open letter to Donald Trump

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 30, 2016

This  is a letter penned today by one of our faithful readers on the eve of a scheduled visit tomorrow by Presidential candidate Donald Trump. Please, Donald Trump, help Michigan!

Dear Mr. Trump:

I am so happy to hear you will be coming to Michigan at least one more time before the election. I doubt I will have a chance to speak to you in a throng of thousands of supporters, but if I could this would be my message.

Michigan represents the United States on the cusp of collapse if Hillary Clinton and the globalists backing her prevail on November 8th. Michigan has been so damaged by job loss and permanent unemployment from companies moving elsewhere that it has caused the social fabric to change. Like many of my friends I am a grandmother with grandchildren elsewhere. When our children graduated from college they all had to move to other states for jobs. There was no future for them in Michigan.

So now the central planners on the left are flooding our state with refugees from war torn and third world countries to provide a pool of very low wage workers who will be reliable Democrat voters to help keep the sinking ship of state afloat. Per capita Michigan has been receiving the most refugees in recent years and now we are receiving the most Syrian refugees. While the Refugee Resettlement program operates under the radar as much as possible, the presence of a large concentration of refugees is being noticed because some parts of Michigan are being transformed almost overnight.

People are concerned. Why are we bringing in unvettable potential terrorists into our midst? Most of these newcomers are Muslim and many of them are Sharia compliant. Sharia is not compatible with the US Constitution. Now we are discovering that a number of these refugees are harboring TB and in at least one case the drug resistant variety. This seems to be nothing short of insanity. A few informed citizens have sounded the alarm, but it is difficult to find leaders who are willing to buck the unfair charges of bigotry and discrimination.

Mr. Trump, this is why we are so enthusiastic about you. We salute your leadership on protecting our borders and our citizens. It is not unreasonable to call a halt on bringing in more refugees until they can be properly vetted, not just for terrorist ties, but also their adherence to an ideology that makes it impossible for them and their children to be Constitution abiding US citizens.

We call on you to shine the spotlight on the Michigan situation, which will soon be the norm all over the country if we can’t put the brakes on this mad dash to bring in more and more refugees. We call on you to support our bold leaders like Oakland County Executive, Brooks Patterson, and the entire town council in Waterford, Michigan who stepped up to protecting their citizens, the job of all our elected representatives.

There is much to learn from the Michigan experience and a course correction is in order to hold the line in Michigan and protect the rest of the country. Please continue your bold leadership and you will have a winning issue that crosses all demographic and party lines. I really believe you when you say you will MAGA. Keep up the good work!

Comment worth noting: Reader likes my idea of an awards dinner for assorted haters (like me)

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 30, 2016

In response to my announcement that I had made the Southern Poverty Law Center’s top 15 list of “anti-Muslim extremists,” reader 7Delta likes my idea of an annual awards dinner for Islamophobes and assorted other bigots and haters.  (Although I maintain that the SPLC is hypocritical because they truly hate ordinary Americans — “deplorables” and “rednecks”—the people I love.)

richard-cohenbw

Richard Cohen, President and CEO of the filthy rich SPLC makes over $380,000 in annual compensation for his ‘work’ (figure includes related income) silencing speech he doesn’t like. Page 7 http://www.guidestar.org/FinDocuments/2015/630/598/2015-630598743-0ca6eda4-9.pdf

This is how you must deal with the likes of the filthy rich Hard Left political activists at the Southern Poverty Law Center—as Alinsky instructed—LAUGH AT THEM!  Make them the brunt of jokes. Alinsky very astutely said that ‘humor is the most powerful political weapon!’ Let’s use it!

Without further ado, here is 7Delta fleshing out the awards dinner concept:

In reply to Ann Corcoran.

Oh wow.

I get busy and miss out on all the important news! Congratulations, Ann. I’m so honored to say I knew you before you were a certified hater. You have really come a long way from the farm girl we all know and love.

I agree that we should have a Flowers of Hateophobia Dinner. At our Garden Veritas soiree–where we’ll serve hotdogs, because we don’t have pay for play–we can give awards: Best in Hate List for Most SPLC Appearances, Best Dressed Islamphobe (I’m pretty sure Geller has that one locked up), Most Humorous Hater (Spencer’s a strong leader), Most Likely to Make the Hate List Next Year, Best Bow Tie for Hate (Dr. Warner probably has this one), Most Grandmotherly Hater Without Horn-rimmed Glasses (Guess who?). And the Grand Thorn Awards, whose recipients will receive nothing but a cheap plaque we got at a yard sale, just like everybody else: The Morris Dees Award For Not Coming Anywhere Close to Having a Poverty Palace That Avarice Bought and The Mark Potok Chinless Award for Taking It On the Chin and Not Compiling Lists to Blame Others to Compensate for Short Comings.

We really are going to have to do this. Maybe we can even give out a Veritasophobia Award or two to the most deserving or we could huddle around whoever has the biggest phone screen to show reruns of Project Veritas videos to highlight who the real liars, cheats and thieves are, since finding that many plaques at yard sales will be tough anyway. We’ll just remind everybody that the video participants/recipients are SPLC’s BFFs. Some were even members of the Clinton Administration.

Let’s do it.

I’m game, this could be a huge!

Reluctantly (because so much is happening with the refugee program), if the Southern Poverty Law Center is going to act as the mafia for the refugee resettlement contractors, I guess I am going to have to educate readers more about them. We already have a tag for the SPLC where I will continue to archive information going forward.

There have been many many critical reports about them, use your search engine and you will see what I mean.

They make millions of dollars by calling ordinary Americans “haters” and attempting to silence speech!

We’ll start here with a look at the ‘non-profit’ organization worth over $340 million. This is a recent Form 990.  Check out their board members on page 7 then the employees with HUGE salaries begin on the bottom of 7 and on page 8.

21 employees make over $100,000 in annual compensation—wow!

If you have more ideas for our ‘Bigots Gala’ (what to call it, where to hold it, more awards!) send a comment (no foul language!) to this post.

Whoa! Big news! Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society to bring 50 Muslim Syrian families to Delaware

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 29, 2016

So, why is that a big deal?  HIAS resettles Muslims all the time.  That is not the big news!

Delaware has hardly taken any refugees in 36 years despite the fact that then Senator Joe Biden was one of the original architects of the Refugee Act of 1980 and observers have always suspected that Delaware has gotten so few because it was a case of ‘not in my back yard’ for good ol’ Uncle Joe.

joe-biden

As one of the few men still living responsible for the Refugee Act of 1980 (There were about a dozen Senators, Ted is dead, but Jimmy Carter is still kicking), thank VP Joe Biden for the demographic change in your state (but not in Delaware until now!).

Now here comes news that the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (see our huge archive here), one of nine federal resettlement contractors, has targeted Delaware for 50 FAMILIES according to the news from Delaware Public Media (that could be more than 200 refugees in total).

Although the article doesn’t say, we assume they would go to the Wilmington area where synagogues are lining up to help place the Syrians.  We already know that 98-99% of Syrians entering the US as refugees are Muslims and most of those are Sunni Muslims.

Here is the story at Delaware Public Media:

First State faith leaders and other community groups gathered Friday morning to learn more about a wave of Syrian refugees coming to Delaware as early as the end of the year.

About 50 Syrian families are slated to be resettled in the First State in December or January. [Planning has obviously gone on in secrecy because this plan is way down the pipeline and already approved at the US State Department. The big rush is that they want to beat a Trump Inauguration!—ed.]

Delaware’s Jewish Family Services agency is teaming up with HIAS – one of only nine organizations working with the U.S. State Department and the refugee resettlement program charged with placing refugees in the United States and abroad.

HIAS Senior Director of Communications Bill Swersey says this is the first time Syrian refugees are being resettled in Delaware, and adds the list of immediate needs for them is long.

Islamic Community is surely overjoyed!  Yes, because that means the Hijra is advancing into Delaware!

Several synagogues, non-profits and the Islamic Community of Delaware have already signed on to help. Delaware and Wyoming were the only two states not to have settled any Syrian refugees during the 2016 Fiscal year that ended Sept. 30th.

Urgent notice to Wyomingites!  They may have secret plans in the pipeline for you too!

LOL! This is why I seem to never get done (and it is a beautiful Saturday here), I read something that I know is wrong and I then have to find the facts.  I knew there were MORE than two states that did not get Syrian refugees, so I checked the Dept. of State data base.  Here is a map of where all the Syrian refugees were seeded in FY2016.

screenshot-56

Alaska and Hawaii didn’t get any either, they just didn’t fit on the map. I count 11 states that did not get Syrians! HIAS must be giving false information to make Delaware folks feel guilty.

Nervous in Delaware? Be sure to read ‘Ten things you need to know!’

For new readers, HIAS is the refugee contractor that told the Southern Poverty Law Center to investigate me, see here.

***We have heard that the US State Department has secretly targeted 47 new resettlement sites. And, that is because they have worn out their welcome in many locations, plus the numbers being admitted are so large that they need many more cities in which to seed them.  These are the ones we have identified so far.  We have now added Wilmington.

“Advocacy” is code for Lobbying as Lutheran federal refugee contractor advertises for DC office

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 29, 2016

We have told you about this on previous occasions over the years, but it bears repeating! The nine major federal resettlement contracting agencies, that like to call themselves VOLAGs (Voluntary agencies! Ha! Ha!), have lobbyists in Washington to not only protect their flow of federal dollars, but to promote their Open Borders agenda.

And, that means not just “advocating” for more refugees, but all of the contractors have worked on past initiatives by Congress for so-called ‘Comprehensive Immigration Reform.’

lirs-building

This is where LIRS is headquartered and a few years ago I got this description from their website: The Lutheran Center (LIRS headquarters) is a six-story structure constructed in 1999 on property owned by Baltimore’s historic Christ Lutheran Church. The building is located near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor in the historic Federal Hill neighborhood, a charming area rich with history and an eclectic array of eateries and shopping venues. (Congress gives them your money to keep the whole thing going!)

Wouldn’t you think that agencies like the Lutherans here would not want the country flooded with illegals-made-legal while they were charged with finding work for their tens of thousands of legal refugees?

I don’t want to wander back into the weeds of the Gang of Eight bill that passed the Senate, but the refugee contractors were in the thick of it (lobbying for its passage) because if it had become law, they would have gotten more paid “clients” that they would help get signed up for welfare, job training, medicaid, etc.

I meant to make this quick and I will.  Check out Gates of Vienna (GoV) blog here (hat tip: Richard at Blue Ridge Forum) discussing the job announcement for a DIRECTOR OF ADVOCACY.

That is ‘fancy-schmancy’ language which simply means—-LOBBYIST.

O.K. fine, they can have a lobbyist too, but the big question is this—-are you paying for their lobbyist???

Their advertisement says this:

Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) is a national faith-based organization with a 77-year history, a budget of approximately $58 million per year, and over 100 headquarters staff.

BTW, that headquarters is in a very nice building at the posh Inner Harbor in Baltimore.

And GoV wonders how much of the $58 million is your money.  I can answer that because I just analyzed LIRS finances last month, here.

From the most recent available Form 990 (2014) we learned this:

Total revenue for that year was $59,862,898

Total federal grants were $55,341,275

And, they also received from your money $1,817,755 for a loan service fee.

95% of their income comes from you—-the taxpayer!

Without the money that CONGRESS appropriates to them they would dry up and blow away!

DEFUND!!!

The only power you have right now to try to slow the juggernaut is if you can persuade your Representatives in Washington (your Congressman and US Senators) to DEFUND the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program on the FY2017 Budget that Congress must pass by December 9th.

We have no taxpayer-funded lobbyists working for us. In fact there is NO lobbyist working exclusively on our side—the side that wants to slow the flow—of the refugee issue.

Frankly, if you don’t even try to do this then you can keep complaining (in comments to me and on social media) about the program until America is gone!

Why do you think LIRS needs a Director of ADVOCACY in Washington DC? Because they get it—they know that Congress holds the purse strings!  Your money is their lifeblood!

Endnote: for all of you having problems with a Lutheran resettlement contractor in your state, this Baltimore-headquartered Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service is their mothership!

Heads up Poughkeepsie, New York: ‘Christian’ charity to bring you Syrian Muslims likely before January 2017

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 28, 2016

Update November 12th: Church World Service counts on fact that local communities don’t know much about refugee program/history of terrorism, here.

Update November 8th: Information meeting (Nov. 10th) moved to larger venue as criticism mounts. Federal contractor admits little information given to local elected body, here.

Update November 5th: Sitting Democrat Congressman should have known all this was coming to his district, here.

Update November 3rd: Mayor says he didn’t know anything about it, here.

Update October 30th: Issue becomes a campaign issue. Democrat Congressman supports Syrian refugees for the area, Republican candidate says, create safe zones in Middle East, here.

We have heard that the US Department of State has secretly identified 47 new resettlement office locations to add  to their 200 or so sites listed here.

Readers are asking me how can they find out if their town is targeted.  There are only two ways to know (there is NO list provided by the feds) either someone leaks the planning process, or you see an article like this one at WPDH Hudson Valley.

However, by the time they are at this stage of the planning, months of work as well as an R & P Abstract has been prepared and most likely the skids have been greased with local elected officials.

If you live in or near Poughkeepsie, and you care, you have work to do.

Here is the short news article which announces a public meeting (that will be structured in such a way to limit criticism).

By the way, it is ‘Christian’ charities like Church World Service, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and Catholic Charities that have been changing the demographic make-up of New York State to the point that churches are being converted to mosques in the region.

Remember at the present rate we could be admitting 135,000 refugees this fiscal year with 20,000 of them being Syrian Muslims (because Congress does not have the guts to cut the funding!).

They are trying to get these offices open before Inauguration Day in case Donald Trump is elected. It will be much harder for him to slow the flow if the offices are up and running! If Hillary wins they will be on the glide path to 135,000 or more!

From WPDH:

A new resettlement office is opening up in Poughkeepsie to help Syrian refugees integrate into the Hudson Valley after arriving in the United States.

Church World Service announced in a press release that they will be opening up a new location in Poughkeepsie. The global humanitarian organization is one of nine U.S. resettlement agencies and has already been working to resettle refugees in Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.

[….]

According to CWS, the Poughkeepsie office will offer newly-arrived refugees a case manager that will assist in finding employment and give support for basic needs like access to health services, cultural orientation and job prep.

A public information session is scheduled to educate the public on what the office will be doing and how the community can help. For those who are interested in learning more about the program, the information session will take place on November 10 at the Adriance Memorial Library from 4:30 to 7pm.

Go here for more on the meeting on November 10th, but be forewarned, this will be a very CONTROLLED meeting so if you are strongly opposed you must do homework in advance.  Note that you must RSVP.  Do it now!

Start your research here at RRW by going to ‘Ten things you need to know!’

And, see also Frequently Asked Questions, here.

Syrian refugee numbers to soar in Nevada in FY2017; cheap labor needed!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 28, 2016

We learned about the Syrian numbers soaring yesterday from Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart.

His story is here. If you live in Nevada you need to read this!

We’ve told you about the new resettlement office in Reno on several occasions.

We were fortunate to have an advance copy of the R & P Abstract for Reno long before the fiscal year began (back in May!). You can read about it here and see especially the information on the letters of support that were attached.

tesla

Besides the University of Nevada looking for employees (janitors?), another reason given in the Abstract was that Tesla would open its battery plant outside of Reno in 2017. Can you say a plentiful supply of federally subsidized cheap immigrant labor needed? Just like Chobani in Twin Falls, Idaho!

It is that Reno Abstract that helped me understand how detailed the Abstracts are and to realize that many being reluctantly released by resettlement contractors to concerned citizens are abbreviated versions.

Unfortunately, unlike many communities developing ‘pockets of resistance’ (Rutland, VT for example), it seemed there was no interest by Reno citizens to question what was coming to their community.  Maybe some will speak up now.

However, the office is open in Reno and they are extremely difficult to close once opened (see ‘Ten things you need to know’).

See also our subsequent post on Reno’s new office here where we learned something important! The Dept. of State has identified 47 new sites***!

This is one of the letters of support in the Reno FY2017 Abstract prepared by the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI, the same federal contractor embroiled in controversy in Twin Falls, Idaho and Rutland, VT).

Does your Imam have a bushy beard? German story informative

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 28, 2016

Invasion of Europe news….

Occasionally Reuters does us a good service, and they have with this story from Germany.  It is about how many Syrian refugees are not devout Muslims (Reuters uses the word conservative) but are being lured into extremist—Salafist or Wahhabi—mosques that make them uncomfortable.

From The Independent:

Hani Salam escaped civil war in Syria and survived the journey from Egypt to Europe. But when he saw men with bushy long beards at a mosque near his current home in Cologne last November, he was worried.

merkel-706481

Merkel opened a can of worms when she permitted hundreds of thousands of refugees from Muslim countries to come to Germany. Read this story and see that the German government is in the business of training ‘moderate’ Imams. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/germany-syrian-refugees-islam-religion-mosques-too-conservative-strict-a7384146.html

The men’s appearance reminded him of Jaish al-Islam, the Islamist rebels who took over his hometown near Damascus, said Salam, 36, who wears a moustache but no beard. One of them told Salam that “good Muslims grow beards, not moustaches,” he recalled – a centuries-old idea that he dismisses.

“Everything about this mosque made me feel uneasy,” he said.

Syrians in Germany say many of the country’s Arab mosques are more conservative than those at home.

Over two months, a dozen Syrians in six places of worship in three cities told Reuters they were uncomfortable with very conservative messages in Arabic-speaking mosques. People have criticised the way the newcomers dress and practise their religion, they said. Some insisted the Koran be interpreted word-for-word.
