A great honor! SPLC names me one of 15 anti-Muslim extremists in America

Update:  See Robert Spencer’s response here.

I am literally breathless to report that the Southern Poverty Law Center has named me among 15 anti-Muslim extremists in its newly released Field Guide.

To be in the company of Steve Emerson, Brigitte Gabriel, Frank Gaffney, Pamela Geller, John Guandolo, Ayan Hirsi Ali and Robert Spencer, to name a few, is a truly unexpected honor!

Thanks SPLC for the nice art work!

It also means, of  course, that I have been on-to-something with my continuing concern about the demographic change being brought to your communities via the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program, or why bother with me.

By the way, it was a study by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, here in 2013, that directed the SPLC to focus on my work.  I wrote about it here.

With gratitude to Melanie Nezer of HIAS for confirming that we are on to their plans to change America by changing the people! (And, of course, they don’t want anyone to ‘break their federally-funded rice bowls either’)

Go here to see the list, it is alphabetical, putting me at number one.  I cannot quibble with what they have written about me and the quotes they attribute to me—it is accurate.

And, I like the drawing they took time to make too!

However, I am not naive, tempering my enthusiasm is the full understanding that Mark Potok and his pals at the SPLC have just made me a target of the jihadists.

  1. Congratulations. I’ve been on the list for some time. I’m also on the CAIR list of Islamophobes and on an ISIS hit list.

  2. If one checks out the leadership of the so-called “Southern Poverty Law Center” one finds the organization has nothing to do with the South nor with poverty. Most of the members live in New York and are fabulously well off. A pack of liberal/”progressive” hypocrites. To be hated by them is to doing the right thing for America and that is certain sure!

  4. You were up against stiff competition for this coveted award. At times, I did not think you’d pull through, but in the end, they made the right choice. Congratulations!

  5. Of course let me add my congratulations, Ann. The SPLC, the more unhinged, the more ignored. On the other hand, I wonder how many Obama-like administrations we will need to have before there was concocted some pretext to unleash the DOJ upon you. Like when they go after hapless police departments, their power can be used forever to tie you up and drain your energy and financial resources, until you finally agree to strike some sort of deal with the devil, like the community organizer shakedowns of private and public entities. Anyway, in the meantime, you might inquire if there are any sorts of perks that go along with this honor, like a nice wall plaque or maybe a delectable free brunch at the top-floor penthouse of the plush SPLC skyscraper, from which they fight poverty, where they will kindly explain the error of your ways. You can just keep nodding and saying, “Yes, I’ll have to think about that,” as you sample the finger sandwiches and red velvet chocolate cake.

  6. Congrads Ann and don’t worry to much about the mooslum jihadees. If anything happens to you, we know where mark potok lives and will have no problem conducting our own jihad.

  7. I’m old enough to remember when they were more or less mainstream left do-gooders. They had something called “The Mississippi Box Project”. One took on a family or person. My kids and I did that…how things change…now they haven’t spotted us bec we’re not Americans…Heh.

  8. Dear Ann…It’s absolutely breathtaking to watch the SPLC take a dive to its lowest level of its own hate in its history. To actually put you and the rest of these quite familiar names to an extremist list has as much credibility as saying that Hillary Clinton is incorruptible. To demonize 15 American patriots and activists for the sake of the safety of the nation is beyond political posturing — it’s a complete and total farce. The SPLC has turned into ideological arms of both the UN and the Democrat Party.

    1. Thanks, I’ve always thought we should spoof them and have a big grand awards dinner to give out the Islamophobe of the year award. Turn it into a big fundraiser for our causes on the side of liberty and freedom.

      1. Oh wow. I get busy and miss out on all the important news! Congratulations, Ann. I’m so honored to say I knew you before you were a certified hater. You have really come a long way from the farm girl we all know and love.

I agree that we should have a Flowers of Hateophobia Dinner. At our Garden Veritas soiree–where we’ll serve hotdogs, because we don’t have pay for play–we can give awards: Best in Hate List for Most SPLC Appearances, Best Dressed Islamphobe (I’m pretty sure Geller has that one locked up), Most Humorous Hater (Spencer’s a strong leader), Most Likely to Make the Hate List Next Year, Best Bow Tie for Hate (Dr. Warner probably has this one), Most Grandmotherly Hater Without Horn-rimmed Glasses (Guess who?). And the Grand Thorn Awards, whose recipients will receive nothing but a cheap plaque we got at a yard sale, just like everybody else: The Morris Dees Award For Not Coming Anywhere Close to Having a Poverty Palace That Avarice Bought and The Mark Potok Chinless Award for Taking It On the Chin and Not Compiling Lists to Blame Others to Compensate for Short Comings.

We really are going to have to do this. Maybe we can even give out a Veritasophobia Award or two to the most deserving or we could huddle around whoever has the biggest phone screen to show reruns of Project Veritas videos to highlight who the real liars, cheats and thieves are, since finding that many plaques at yard sales will be tough anyway. We’ll just remind everybody that the video participants/recipients are SPLC’s BFFs. Some were even members of the Clinton Administration.

        Let’s do it.

  13. Congratulations Ann.

You are doing an amazing job informing people about the truth of what is happening.

Long ago, somebody defined truth to be that which that corresponds with reality.

The SPLC people are obviously not connected to reality!

Thank You and Thank You for all the informative reports.

As I said before; we aren’t always known who we are by our friends, but by who our enemies are. Keep up the good work and the good fight, America needs you. Watch your back and stay safe.

BTW: Trump ran a questionnaire about who he should select for his cabinet and I put down your name for INS and DHS.

  17. According to the SPLC & ADL an organization is a “HATE GROUP” if it has
“beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people”.
The SPLC & ADL attack, malign, and STALK all PRO-Christian, PRO-American, entities therefore THEY are “HATE GROUPS”

    1. I didn’t forget the Hutaree group that were charged of sedition and hate group by the SPLC. Actually they were just a Christian survivalist group that stockpiled weapons but broke no gun laws.. An FBI informant infiltrated the group and turned them in for conspiring to put the FBI on a hit list. Well get this, the informant was a Muslim (imagine that). Longer story but a really smart judge acquitted them;SHOCKER. (Interesting if you want to google the story)
