Texas Rep. Brian Babin calls on President-elect Donald Trump to honor his promises to pause refugee resettlement

Posted by Ann Corcoran on December 29, 2016

December 28, 2016

You must watch Rep. Brian Babin of Texas skillfully deflect Fox News’ Ed Henry’s efforts to sucker him into some Christmas season mumbo jumbo about separating out and helping the good refugees coming in from the Syrian conflict.

After you watch, send this video far and wide! (It only had 24 views early this morning).

Henry is sitting in for Tucker Carlson.  It is too bad Carlson himself wasn’t there for this interview, because of anyone on Fox, Tucker ‘gets it’ about Muslim migration to Europe and to America.

Pay special attention around the 2:00 minute mark where Henry begins with something like: ‘you do want to help’ (something like that). Watch Henry’s face! And, don’t miss Rep. Babin calling on Donald Trump to “honor his promises!” (watch beginning around 3:45 for that comment).

(If the youtube video below doesn’t play for you, you can find it here: )

Stop Obama’s Trojan Horse!

See our Rep. Brian Babin archive by clicking here.  The bill Babin mentions in the interview is one that Speaker Paul Ryan and the Republican leadership never allowed to come up for a vote. It effectively died with this past Congress. New bills will be submitted beginning in January.

BTW, I don’t want to hear about “safe zones” in other countries, because that means that the U.S. will need to keep a military presence in those countries to ensure that the “safe zones” remain safe. That will put even MORE of our military men in harm’s way for muzrat scum. (Who might just decide to do their jihad against our military.) No. NO. And HELL NO!!!

Tried to post the pix. Guess you have to go to the link and see for yourselves. Wonder how they’d react to cops wanting to affix a crucifix to their uniform?

SNIP: ” Rep. Babin calling on Donald Trump to “honor his promises!” Trump can fulfill his promises if members of our Congress get behind him. Congress itself could have done a lot to stop Obama but they decided to set on their hands and do nothing.

There’s a link for the video.
Is it just me, or did that FOX pundit have a smirk on his face the entire time Texas representative, Brian Babin, was speaking?
Yes, America wants to help people in need, but in their own homeland–stop bringing them by the planeload here.
I say again and again, America is not responsible for the entire Third World–the Third World needs to get their own act together and mainly stop having so many babies that they cannot care for!

WHERE WAS HE JANUARY 2015 ?????

Freshman Texas Congressman Chokes on Boehner Vote

Newly elected Congressman Brian Babin (R-TX) choked on his first opportunity to vote as a member of Congress. In the recent election for Speaker of the House, the very first vote a congressional member makes, Babin chose to vote “Present.” He was the only member present to not cast a vote on a candidate for Speaker.

I forgive him that because on this issue he has been out front for nearly two years (pretty much alone!)

      • Mark Levin’s Conservative Review posited an astute observation when discussing on the Conundrum of the GOP, on the subject of a ; H.R. 4731, is sponsored by the committee chairman, Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) and Raul Labrador (R-ID).

The Republican Party is so broken that even when one committee passes a good bill, and even if they do so with sincerity, the entire party does not share those values. They will never make this a bicameral push on the floor of both the House and Senate and direct all their members to go home and message this bill to their constituents and to the media. They will never encourage their candidates to run on this issue and place Democrats on defense.

How hard is it to promote a message of no societal transformation without representation? According to recent polling data, 84% of Americans believe immigration from the Middle East is “very or somewhat dangerous” and just 25% of Americans and 38% of Democrats want to bring in Syrian refugees.

This is the conundrum conservatives have faced for years. Even when we can cajole the party into taking action on an issue, how can conservatives force them to actually mean it and see legislative action through all the way? You can’t force a group of people to fight for something they don’t truly believe at heart.
