Trump Watch! Don’t leave the Rohingya off extreme vetting list!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on January 25, 2017

I fear the Trump people don’t know all the questionable ethnic groups we are admitting!

Last night when Reuters reported that President Trump would sign an executive order restricting immigration from regions of the world known to be terror hotspots, the reporter listed these countries, or I assume they mean these nationalities (because many are no longer in their own countries but are spread out around the globe):

Syrians, Iraqis, Iranians, Libyans, Somalis, Sudanese and Yemenis.

The US admitted 13,500 Rohingya during the Obama years. Does anyone believe that the Muslim Rohingya boat people can be securely screened? Photo: http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2015/05/30/myanmar-finds-boat-727-migrants-south-coast

However, we must not leave off the list the thousands of devout Rohingya Muslims we are admitting from Burma and Bangladesh. There is no way they are being vetted properly as they wander around Southeast Asia, many by boat.

I have a whole category (194 previous posts) going back years on Burma’s ethnic minority Rohingya and since I am running out of time this morning (I will be away today), you might want to click here and learn a bit more about them.

Also, see the discussion about their admission to  the US in the most recent report from the President (Obama) here last September (search the report for ‘Rohingya’).

As an ethnic minority group of “special humanitarian concern” they do not have to prove individually that they would be persecuted if returned to Burma or Bangladesh, they need only say they are Rohingya and they are automatically assumed to be refugees. We pick them up in Thailand and Malaysia. Malaysia is a safe Muslim country so there is no reason they couldn’t just stay there!

We have taken thousands so far—13,500 during the Obama Administration! (Click here).

How many this fiscal year?

When I worked on numbers at Wrapsnet this morning, I checked on Burmese Muslim numbers and was surprised to find that 26% of the Burmese people we were bringing in are Muslims.  This data is just for this fiscal year (FY2017) up until today.

Today’s report on Burmese Muslim refugees being placed in your towns and cities.

Again, this post is filed in our Rohingya Reports category, here.

And, I will try to tell you about other ethnic groups that must be subject to extreme vetting later or tomorrow.

WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSE TO DO IS RECOGNIZE NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY, OUR GOVERNMENT IS AGAINST US, AND ALL OTHER GOVERNMENTS ARE AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLES. WE SHOULD HALT ALL IMMIGRATION AND REALIZE OUR GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN USING US AS DIRT MOPS TO HELP THE OTHERS ARRIVING. THAT IS WHAT WE SHOULD DO. WE SHOULD TELL OTHER COUNTRIES IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO ACCEPT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, THEN THAT IS ON YOU!!!

Ann, you are one amazing person doing an equally amazing service for the citizens…My biggest concert is who is going to be able to fill your shoes and continue carrying this torch in the event you may some day wish to “pull the plug.”

Thanks for the kind words of support. However, this issue is now advanced enough that big reporters are catching on and writing about it. I could retire! This is my tenth year and I still enjoy writing and researching stories, but am also trying to do other things each day to keep life balanced. I will be here for awhile, God willing.

Are you ignoring the ethnic cleansing and genocide being committed against the Rohinga. The facts are very clear as evidenced bu reports from many organizations and a UN inquiry. If they were Christians being persecuted by Buddhists, you would probably feel differently. Historically Rohinga were a recognized ethnic group until citizenship and recognition were taken away. Should they not have defended themselves-these folks pose no terror danger. During the Holocaust, Jews fought back in the ghettos and with partisans. The few Rohinga that are fighting back are similar. I know you will not likely do it, but there are many videos and academic reports on the Rohinga which all point out they are victims. Have you and your readers lost all sense of compassion. I understand some of your concern about the other named groups to a point but what about the true victims in Syria that are families. Also 30% of Iraqis are Christian and there are Yezidis as well. So now we disallow them and for how long?

  4. Reblogged this on islamnewworldorder and commented:
I will never forget the last time I watched CBS’s 60 Minutes (used to be a favorite news program) but this time the CBS pundit was complaining/whining about the treatment (I assume the people in the pic below) were getting in Burma (now Myanmar.)
No matter where islam tries to sink its roots they become unwelcome.
1400 years from mecca/medina to massacre/butcher clear to Indonesia and the Philippines, and now every country in the so-called civilized First-World.
You see, islam wants the entire world under sharia. That’s a fact, no matter what the libs/progressives try to tell you.

  5. Absolutely right, Ann.These people are dangerous Islamic fanatics, and that is the reason why they are being expelled in the first place. Only Obama would throw open the floodgates to these potential terrorists, instead of sending them to some Islamic country. We need to make Trump aware of this threat.

I’ve been writing about the Rohingya for almost ten years. They are not pure as the driven snow as their supporters claim, just have a look at my Rohingya Reports category linked in this post. And, besides, why is Burma’s attempt to keep itself Muslim-free our problem?

I’m quite sure this list isn’t in stone, per se. I’m confident Trump and his SoS can alter or add according to whatever evidence is presented showing other factions/nationals require inclusion/exclusion.
