Find out who is in charge of refugee resettlement in your state…

Posted by Ann Corcoran on November 29, 2017

….because knowledge is power!

This is a very cool resource which I had never seen.  Reader Tomasrose sent it after I wrote this post on obtaining your R & P Abstracts.

I had been using this list to find refugee subcontractors and another list, this one, to find state refugee coordinators, but here the Office of Refugee Resettlement (in HHS) has provided us with an interactive map where you can find both.

However, it is from 2015 and is a bit out-of-date because there are now more Wilson-Fish states (see Wilson-Fish archive, here) and some local offices may have changed.  (This post will be added to my Frequently Asked Questions page, here.)

Utah Somali refugee rapist walking free

Posted by Ann Corcoran on November 29, 2017

This case and so many others like it reminds me of why think tanks, like the Heritage Foundation , insulated inside the Washington beltway, so badly misunderstand what is happening in US communities stressed by refugee overload.

And, this is why they haven’t a clue: the mainstream media virtually never reports on these horror stories.  Even Fox News is, for all intents and purposes, silent.

Alternative media, like RRW, apparently never makes the DC and NY elitists reading lists either!

Before I get to the latest refugee crime story from Leo Hohmann at World Net Daily, let me just say thank you to him for reporting (as part of this story) the story of Esar Met (a Burmese Rohingya refugee) who raped and murdered a little Burmese Christian girl in Salt Lake City almost ten years ago.

It was a horrific murder and a long trial ably covered by local media, including the Salt Lake Tribune, within the state of Utah. However, the news never left the state compounding the tragedy for all involved including the child’s mother who said she wished she had never come to America as a refugee.

That story about Met and this one about Mohammed simply do not advance the meme that all refugees arriving here are peace-loving people who are just grateful for our welcoming generosity!

Now to the latest news that will never reach those sensitive Washington, DC ears!

Here is Hohmann:

Utah rapist

It’s been six years since Somali refugee Mohammed Ali Mohammed, then age 14, sexually assaulted two women at knifepoint on consecutive nights in Salt Lake City.

Mohammed, now just one month from his 21st birthday, attacked one woman who was standing outside of her home on Aug. 14, 2011.

The teen came up behind the woman, who was outside her house with a dog, and held a four-inch switchblade to her throat. He threatened to kill her if she made a sound, according to police reports, then he raped her behind the home.

On the following night, the teenager from Somalia broke into another woman’s home and beat her before demanding she go to an ATM and withdraw $400 for him.

He would later tell investigators he wanted the money so he didn’t have to wear stained clothes on the first day of ninth grade. [So where was his resettlement contractor? Not taking very good care of him obviously! Why admit more poverty to America when we aren’t taking care of what we have?—ed]

Fast-forward to Monday, Nov. 27, 2017. After serving six years in juvenile detention center, Mohammed sat in court and admitted to doing “very, very horrible things” as a teenager.

“I was a monster,” Mohammed said in 3rd District Court in Salt Lake City. “I didn’t know what I was thinking. I was a very stupid kid.”

But after six years in the Wasatch Youth Detention Center, Mohammed swears he is a different person than the boy who brutally attacked the two women in 2011, according to a report by the Salt Lake Tribune.

Photo: Judge Trease in a story at the Salt Lake Tribune about diversity on the Utah bench.

“There is nothing I could say or do that could restore what I did to them,” he said.

“The only way I can show them I’ve changed is how I live my life.”

Because he is about to age out of the juvenile system, Judge Vernice Trease had the option of sentencing Mohammed to a term in the Utah State Prison or let him walk free on probation. She chose the latter.

Mohammed has been at the youth detention center since he pleaded guilty in 2012 to rape, sexual assault and kidnapping charges.

So, let me ask, why wasn’t consideration given to simply deporting him now?

Continue reading here and learn more about the 2008 rape and murder of  Hser Ner Moo (the beloved only daughter and youngest child in a family of mostly grown boys).

And, see what the Somali rapist’s victims say about the fact that he will be walking free!

Consider this: In addition to the psychological trauma of heinous crimes, imagine what it must have cost the taxpayers of Utah to keep in juvenile detention this Somali refugee rapist for six years, or Utah’s Esar Met for life!

I will bet you a buck that any financial studies touting how much refugees (supposedly) help the US economy never figure in the huge costs of trials like Met’s or the cost of years (to life!) in prison.

Because I was getting sick of the federal refugee contractors*** implying that all refugees are little angels, saying refugees haven’t killed people in America, I wrote this post awhile back to expose that lie with 10 Islamic terror cases and 5 horrific crimes plucked from my archives to show they are lying.

See more posts on Utah, here.  Don’t miss the most recent one about how some refugees resettled in Utah want to go home!

And, for energetic readers check out my “crimes” category with over 2,000 posts on immigrant/refugee crime here and abroad.

Pro-more-refugees German mayor stabbed in kebab restaurant

Posted by Ann Corcoran on November 29, 2017

“I believe we are leading Germany towards a bright future – that future is diverse.”

(The mayor in a statement prior to the stabbing)

Authorities say it was a politically motivated attack.

From Euronews:

Andreas Hollstein, the mayor of German town Altena and a member of chancellor Angela Merkel’s CDU party is recovering today after being stabbed in the neck by an assailant.

The attack happened in Altena on Monday evening at a local kebab restaurant, when, according to Spiegel Online, a man who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol criticised Mr Hollstein’s asylum policy and stabbed him in the neck with a 30cm-long knife. The man was arrested at the scene.

The mayor is a supporter of Angela Merkel’s migration policy that permitted hundreds of thousands of migrants to enter Germany in recent years. Photo:

Hollstein was rushed to hospital for treatment and released a few hours later, appearing at a press conference on Tuesday morning sporting a large plaster on his neck. He used the conference to thank the owner of the kebab shop, Demir Abdullah, who along with his son overpowered the knife-wielding man. “I’m sure that if they hadn’t reacted like that I wouldn’t be alive now”, he said.

North Rhine-Westphalia premier Armin Laschet has said that the assumption among security services is that the attack was “politically motivated”. Angela Merkel condemned the attack, saying she was “horrified” by the incident, while also thanking those that helped Hollstein.

The town of Altena has won praise, and earlier this year an award, for its efforts in integrating refugees. The town opted to take 100 more refugees than the 270 it was allocated in 2015, and each family was assigned a mentor to help them settle in.

At the award ceremony in May, Hollstein told the audience, “I believe we are leading Germany towards a bright future – that future is diverse.”

I see that the Irish Times has a much more detailed story referencing the attacker as having “xenophobic” motives.

See my complete archive on the ‘Invasion of Europe’ by clicking here.

And, I have dozens of posts specifically on Germany, here where passions are running high on both sides of the refugee issue and speculation is rampant that Angela Merkel’s political future is in question.
