Thanks everyone for your kind words of support

Posted by Ann Corcoran on November 18, 2018

And, thanks for understanding that after 11 years of almost daily researching and writing stories on the refugee program and related issues, I need a break.

Thank you for all of your notes of thanks and encouragement.

I haven’t disappeared to a sunny beach somewhere and am having fun tweeting on an expanded list of immigration related issues.

You can follow me @RefugeeWatcher if you are on twitter.

But, even if you aren’t, you can see and open my tweets right from the front page, right-hand sidebar, of Refugee Resettlement Watch.

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks for all of the thankless hard work, as well as the tireless, extraordinary professionalism… and class.

The REAL Resistance; the critical one that really counts at this time, and will have counted years from now… as basically the last hope for Western Civilization; the resistance to the hijra; would not exist without you, Ann. None of it.

    You’ll be sorely missed.

    So long, Swamp Fox!

I just hope the SPLC and others are not thinking that they have won by your retiring from the blog. We cannot let these anti american groups intimidate us or win. Just saw Kamala Harris questioning an ICE Asst Sec about the perception that ICE is like KKK. The left asked why he would go and talk at a group convention that the SPLC says is a Hate group. He of course was cordial and did not answer the way I would have. WHO made the SPLC the Judge and Jury of Hate crimes. They are basically a hate advocacy group themselves. Our officials need to be educated in order to respond to these stupid questions. Thank you Ann for all your work. Just had to spout off one more time!!!!

Thanks for your words of support, but it is a scary prospect to think that the SPLC would think they won anything from my retirement from blogging (for over eleven years) about refugees—remember it was just me and my computer, no finances, no staff.

Anyone can do what I did. And, just imagine if dozens, hundreds, of people like me started writing daily on a specific topic that went against the SPLC’s view of the world. IMAGINE!

Ms. Corcoran, I am so sad for several reasons. 😦 One being that I did not find you or your page until the last 2 years. 😦 REALLY REALLY sad about that! 😦 But in those 2 years, I have tried to keep family and friends informed by sending them your pages and the incredible, very important info you have shared with us here! I am sad if you are leaving for good. 😦 I do not know where I will get information as vital and HONEST as what you gave us. 😦 I ALWAYS trusted your info! Thank you so much for your hard work! You are AMAZING! I hope that your Thanksgiving is the best ever! Much respect and admiration! Bev Moore Lukasevics

  10. Thanks, Ann, and happy Thanksgiving to you as well. I was very disappointed by the Democrats taking the house also, but just think how much worse things would be if Hillary had won. We would be rolling out the red carpet for the caravan right now, and the left would be lecturing us on how it is our obligation to provide for every third world leech who can walk, run, crawl, or wheel their way to our border. I know it is frustrating, but that is exactly the way the left is trying to make us feel. At least we have made some progress under this administration!

Every time I get the chance to do so I link your RRW blog site in any comments I might make about migration issues being funded with our tax dollars through our Department of State and the silent invasion they are perpetrating on our communities.

RRW is still up and there are over 9,000 posts there full of information. Just use that little search window in the left hand column and type in a few key words.

I have read your work every morning for the past 11 years – someone recommended your blog within your first month of writing, and I appreciated the clear-headed and thorough look you give to this under-reported topic. Thank you for doing such exemplary work. Enjoy your break! : )

I began checking out your Tweets a while back, and they are full of interesting news stories and tiny quips of your wry point of view. Thank you for keeping in touch with us while you take a rest from the grind of daily blog writing (I have a blog in hiatus – I found it just takes so much time for each story, and I just don’t have that.)

Best wishes and blessings to you and your family (and all of your farm : )

You did amazing work for so long, I can only imagine how exhausted you are. I hope we can defeat the evil forces within our government who have co-opted so many of our corrupt politicians. I pray daily for our Country and work hard to get your message out, but I fear it is not enough to keep our Country safe from those who would do us harm. God bless you and rest, Ann. Mariann Benway
