‘Welcoming America’ to host German officials to show them how great our refugee integration is!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on April 15, 2017

Alert: This is NOT fake news!

We have told you about ‘Welcoming America’ previously.  We first heard about them in June 2013 when we attended a meeting the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement was hosting in Lancaster, PA.  It is where we first heard about refugee “seedlings” planted in communities and where we learned that some of us asking questions about the program and how much it costs were referred to as “pockets of resistance.”

Welcoming America is the ‘brainchild’ of David Lubell. https://www.welcomingamerica.org/content/david-lubell-0

See that early warning post here.

‘Welcoming America’ got its start with Soros money. Propaganda is their specialty!

Now we see that ‘Welcoming America’ and other groups are bringing a delegation of German officials here to learn how great everything is in cities overloaded with refugees and how well the refugees are “integrating” (they never use the word assimilate).

From Digital Journal we learn that the delegation will go to Washington, DC (only a tiny number of refugees are ever placed in DC!), then on to Detroit, Nashville, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.

If you are a community leader in one of those cities and are concerned about the refugee overload in your cities, try to figure out some way to get the attention of the German officials because you can bet that ‘Welcoming America’ is going to give them nothing but a glowing report on how well refugees ‘integrate’ and how everything is peace and love!

Here is the story:

Apr. 14, 2017 / PRZen / WASHINGTON — Twenty-five German integration professionals and public officials will travel to the United States, from April 30 to May 9, to learn firsthand how American cities approach community integration and resettlement as part of the Welcoming Communities Transatlantic Exchange (WCTE).

German citizens will be told that everything is just wonderful with refugees in America! What is wrong with you people!

The WCTE, which is now in its second year in 2017, is a professional exchange program for integration practitioners and leaders from the United States and Germany who work to integrate refugees and immigrants into their local communities. It annually brings together over 40 individuals from nine communities to expand their networks and share best practices and innovative approaches to integration initiatives at the local level.

This upcoming 10-day visit will provide individuals representing the German communities of Düsseldorf, Freiburg, Kreis Düren, Leipzig, and Münster with a wide-ranging look into how American cities welcome and integrate newcomers into their communities through a series of site visits and meetings with local governments, refugee resettlement agencies, interfaith groups, local schools and employers, among others.

The program kicks off in Washington, D.C. where the delegation will take part in meetings designed to provide a national perspective on issues of refugee resettlement and U.S. immigration policy. The group will then travel in three cohorts to Detroit, Nashville, and Salt Lake City before convening together in Los Angeles. In each city, the German delegates will have opportunities to meet with their U.S. counterparts and learn about the many different local approaches American communities apply to address the challenge of sustainably integrating newcomers.

You can bet that your citizens’ group that is questioning the cost and issues of security and cultural disruption will not be included in the show and tell sessions!

More here.

Click here for our complete ‘Welcoming America’ archive.  Someone should do more extensive writing on this bunch and what they do.

And, if you are new to the issue, we have a huge archive on the ‘Invasion of Europe’ where you can find out what a disaster for Europe that Germany has created with its open-door policy toward migrants.

Trump may increase funding for refugees in FY18 budget…..

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 18, 2017

….but before you panic, as I did when I read Breitbart’s headline (‘Trump Budget Includes ‘Significant Funding of . . . Refugee Program’), some of the funding proposal likely involves humanitarian help abroad and development of the ‘safe zones’ (abroad!) concept.

President Donald Trump salutes after laying a wreath at the Hermitage, the home of President Andrew Jackson, to commemorate Jackson’s 250th birthday, Wednesday, March 15, 2017, in Nashville, Tenn. (AP Photo/Evan Vucci)

Here is Michael Patrick Leahy with an inside look at Trump Administration funding plans:

The blueprint for the Trump administration’s FY 2018 budget released on Thursday “allows for significant funding of humanitarian assistance, including food aid, disaster, and refugee program funding” in the State Department.

“This would focus funding on the highest priority areas while asking the rest of the world to pay their fair share,” the blueprint states.

“Taken together with the executive order, it looks like the president will keep the refugee program with a lower annual number, like the 50,000 limit specified in Executive Order 13780, and when the annual determination is released, identify countries of concern in a way that excludes Somalia, and other countries of concern that are known to harbor terrorists,” a source familiar with the federal refugee resettlement program tells Breitbart News.

[….]

“As long as he keeps the refugee program going, we are going to get more people from countries related to real security issues and regardless, the program needs to be legislatively reformed and regulations that have caused Constitutional violations repealed before restarting in FY 2018,” the source adds.

So, the Trump team is aware and is aiming to “legislatively” reform the program which we have been insisting is the only way to permanently fix (if possible!) the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program.

Otherwise, if there is no legislative fix, then in 4, or 8, years the whole huge, uncontrolled, flow could begin again with a new president. (See ‘Where is Congress?’ here)

Reform of “regulations” is the Administration’s job!

Regulations do not need “repeal” (implying Congress gets involved), they need only be trashed or re-written by Trump’s people. (Could they trash the “regulations” that were written for the Wilson-Fish amendments? As I understand it, those regulations wrongly authorized a non-profit group to run a refugee program in a state that had withdrawn from the program.)

Leahy continues….

The language of the blueprint, however, could be interpreted to suggest that the Trump administration’s “significant funding of . . . [the] refugee program” defines the program broadly to include safe zones in other parts of the world in addition to the federal refugee resettlement program. As such, a further reduction of refugees resettled in the United States in FY 2018 could be entirely possible.

Leahy goes on to discuss the recent court decisions in Hawaii and in Maryland, noting that the judge in Hawaii did place a restraining order (we believe completely illegally) on Trump’s reduction of the Obama PROPOSED CEILING (see ceiling discussion here).

Then at the end of his informative piece, we get a laugh!  Leahy wraps up with this….

As to the number refugees who will be resettled in the United States during the balance of FY 2017, President Trump may take a page from President Andrew Jackson, whose tomb he honored during his visit to Nashville on Wednesday.

“John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it,” President Jackson said of an 1832 Supreme Court decision unfavorable to his policies issued by the Marshall Court.

President Trump’s attitude to the unfavorable decision issued by Judge Watson regarding a president’s Constitutional and statutory authority to limit the number of refugees arriving in the United States, a decision Judge Chuang [in Maryland case—ed] may agree with on March 28, may well be something like this:

“Judge Watson has made his decision; now let him pay for it.”

Hawaii needs refugees! Sues feds over refugee pause, travel restrictions from certain Muslim countries

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 10, 2017

You can’t make this up.

Surely you have already seen the news that the state of Hawaii is claiming that the Trump Administration’s latest Executive Order limiting travel to the US from certain countries and pausing the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program will hurt Hawaii!

Hawaii Attorney General Doug Chin spoke at Muslim Association of Hawaii, alleges they aren’t getting enough Muslim refugees (he didn’t really say that exactly), but they clearly need some! http://www.civilbeat.org/2017/03/hawaii-becomes-first-state-to-challenge-trumps-new-travel-ban/

I’m going to propose (when the refugee pause and the travel restrictions are lifted) that the state of Hawaii be placed at the top of the refugee-receiving list and get its FAIR SHARE of refugees especially from Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. to make up for lost time in reaping the rewards of diversity!

Hawaii resettled a grand total of 123 refugees in 14 years, 5 months and ten days (up to today).

I’ll show you below with more numbers how completely ignorant and ill-informed Hawaii’s AG sounds.

Here is Seattlepi:

Hawaii has become the first state to mount a federal court challenge to President Trump’s revised executive order blocking travel from six predominantly Muslim countries and barring Syrian refugees for 120 days.

Attorneys for the Aloha State on Wednesday asked a U.S. District Court judge in Honolulu to block the new Trump order.

“This new executive order is nothing more than Muslim Ban 2.0; under the pretense of national security, it still targets immigrants and refugees,” Hawaii Attorney General Doug Chin said in a statement.

[….]

In its court filing, Hawaii argues that the rights of its citizens, and its tourism economy, will be damaged by the revised Trump order, which takes effect March 16.

The new executive order will damage Hawaii’s “economy, educational institutions and tourism industry,” the state argues in its brief.

Rolling on floor laughing my head off! Hawaii “welcoming persons from all nations around the world into the fabric of its society.”

“It is damaging Hawaii’s institutions, harming its economy and eroding Hawaii’s sovereign interest in maintaining the separation between church and state as well as in welcoming persons from all nations around the world into the fabric of its society.”

Ismail Elshikh, Muslim Association of Hawaii is a co-plaintiff in suit against Trump Administration. http://www.civilbeat.org/2017/03/hawaii-becomes-first-state-to-challenge-trumps-new-travel-ban/

Now, here is the real power behind the suit—Muslim Association of Hawaii!

Seattlepi continues….

The state’s suit has a co-plaintiff, Ismail Elshikh, the imam of the Muslim Association of Hawaii, saying the Trump order “inflicts a grave injury on Muslims in Hawaii, including Dr. Elshikh, his family and members of his mosque.”

Let’s look at Hawaii’s refugee program!

Checking Wrapsnet this morning, here is a summary of the refugees admitted to Hawaii in the last 14 years, 5 months and 10 days:

Of the total 123 refugees they “welcomed” to Hawaii, the largest number (66) were Vietnamese who came in the early years (FY03,04,05).  Another 40 were Burmese (most Burmese are Christians).  Only 5 from any Middle East country came.  In 2004, 1 Iranian was resettled there and in 2013 they got a grand total of 4 Iraqis.  None of the thousands of Syrians admitted to the US in the last 2 years were seeded in Hawaii!

A smattering of Russians and Ukrainians were placed there over the years.

There were no refugees sent to Hawaii at all in FY11 and last year!

Zero Africans were planted in Hawaii in all those years.  That is interesting since when I read some books on Obama’s father arriving in Hawaii in about 1960, see especially this book, I learned that Hawaiians were not partial to Africans and that Barack Sr. attracted much attention because of his race and demeanor.  Hmmmm?

Why wasn’t the state of Hawaii begging for refugees over the last 14 years, 5 months and 10 days?

Seems it might be just the right time to send Hawaii its fair share of Somalis, Ethiopians, Eritreans, and Congolese!

BTW, how is the welfare system in Hawaii, does anyone know?

Here is an idea!  There are no travel restrictions between Minnesota and Hawaii.  Maybe load up a few planes with excess refugees there and send them to Hawaii (I hear that the climate is much better!).

ADL twitter campaign #ThisIsARefugee is an opportunity for fun!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 2, 2017

The Anti-Defamation League, pushing back on the Trump Administration’s efforts to slow the flow of potentially dangerous refugees to America, has launched a twitter campaign titled #ThisIsARefugee.

Putting a face on the refugee issue….

Announced on February 12th, their campaign isn’t getting much traction except from Pamela Geller and yours truly. I posted some of my refugee criminals including Esar Met, Fazliddin Kurbanov, Jasim Ramadon, and today’s newest member of the refugee criminal hit parade Abdirhman Ahmad Noor.

Here is the ADL website with their press release:

New York, NY, February 12, 2017 … Anti-Defamation League (ADL) CEO Jonathan A. Greenblatt announced the start of the #ThisIsARefugee campaign on the heels of today’s National Day of Jewish Action for Refugees rally in New York sponsored by HIAS***.

As the pre-eminent Jewish civil rights organization, ADL is launching the effort to bring to light how much refugees have given to make America the country it is today and underscore how short-sighted and contrary to American values a ban on refugees is.

Still trying to get traction just 4 days ago:

We can play the story game too!

As I have said repeatedly, for every refugee violinist or Harvard grad story, I can give you a story about a refugee terrorist or a criminal.

If you are on twitter and have some refugee stories, post them here #ThisIsARefugee!

L.A.R.K. program proposed for care of detained terrorists……

Posted by Ann Corcoran on February 27, 2017

L.A.R.K. stands for ‘Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers’

This is a joke people!

Names have been removed or changed in this internet message that has been making the rounds for years.

The letter is attributed to a Canadian Minister of Defense which tells you right away it is a joke (imagine boy Trudeau, or any previous prime minister of Canada, having such a brave and humorous Minister in his cabinet!).

screenshot-363

However, I am posting it just to make the point about the value of messages like this that circulate to thousands and thousands of people around the globe achieving a life of their own! (This one has been circulating in one form or another since as early 2002, we learned.)

The messages contain nuggets of truth and such enormous common sense that they resonate and people send them on definitely much more frequently than any serious factual blog post I could write. (Maybe you have already seen it many times!)

And, I am posting it so that you can have a good Monday morning laugh!

It is also a test to see if some Lefties will claim I am spreading fake news.  Let’s see if this turns up somewhere to discredit my work.

A Canadian female liberal wrote a lot of letters to the Canadian government, complaining about the treatment of captive insurgents (terrorists) being held in Afghanistan National Correctional System facilities. She demanded a response to her letter.

She received back the following reply:

National Defense Headquarters
(General’s name removed)

Dear Concerned Citizen,

Thank you for your recent letter expressing your profound concern of treatment of the Taliban and Al Qaeda terrorists captured by Canadian Forces, who were subsequently transferred to the Afghanistan Government and are currently being held by Afghan officials in Afghanistan National Correctional System facilities.

Our administration takes these matters seriously and your opinions were heard loud and clear here in Ottawa.

You will be pleased to learn, thanks to the concerns of citizens like yourself, we are creating a new department here at the Department of National Defence, to be called ‘Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers’ program, or L.A.R.K. for short.

In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have decided, on a trial basis, to divert several terrorists and place them in homes of concerned citizens such as yourself, around the country, under those citizens personal care. Your personal detainee has been selected and is scheduled for transportation under heavily armed guard to your residence in Toronto next Monday.

Mohammed Ahmed (name shortened) is your detainee, and is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of complaint. You will be pleased to know that we will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care for Ahmed are commensurate with your recommendations.

Although Ahmed is a sociopath and extremely violent, we hope that your sensitivity to what you described as his ‘attitudinal problem’ will help him overcome those character flaws. Perhaps you are correct in describing these problems as mere cultural differences. We understand that you plan to offer counselling and home schooling, however, we strongly recommend that you hire some assistant caretakers.

Please advise any Jewish friends, neighbors or relatives about your house guest, as he might get agitated or even violent, but we are sure you can reason with him. He is also expert at making a wide variety of explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish to keep those items locked up, unless in your opinion, this might offend him. Your adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat and can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or nail clippers. We advise that you do not ask him to demonstrate these skills either in your home or wherever you choose to take him while helping him adjust to life in our country.

Ahmed will not wish to interact with you or your daughters except sexually, since he views females as a form of property, thereby having no rights, including refusal of his sexual demands. This is a particularly sensitive subject for him.

You also should know that he has shown violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the dress code that he will recommend as more appropriate attire. I’m sure you will come to enjoy the anonymity offered by the burka over time. Just remember that it is all part of respecting his culture and religious beliefs’ as described in your letter.

You take good care of Ahmed and remember that we will try to have a counsellor available to help you over any difficulties you encounter while Ahmed is adjusting to Canadian culture.

Thanks again for your concern. We truly appreciate it when folks like you keep us informed of the proper way to do our job and care for our fellow man.

Good luck and God bless you.
Cordially,

(General’s name removed)
Minister of National Defense

I’d love to see a letter like this proposing that Liberals take refugees in to their own homes!  Are you a clever writer?

Daniel Greenfield once again (humorously) explains how the SPLC lies about ‘groups’

Posted by Ann Corcoran on February 21, 2017

We told you here the other day, that RRW is listed as a hate “group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center when the group is only me (and my cat).

screenshot-330

SPLC: Send us money, lots of it! We have fake news to spread and big salaries to pay!

Now we see that Daniel Greenfield (I wish I was able to tickle the funny bone as well as he does) tells us more about the “Islamophobic groups” SPLC says are on the rise.

Here at Frontpage:

Look out! It’s another fake Islamophobia crisis.

“Huge Growth in Anti-Muslim Hate Groups During 2016: SPLC Report,” wails NBC News. “Watchdog: Number of anti-Muslim hate groups tripled since 2015,” FOX News bleats. ABC News vomits up this word salad. “Trump cited in report finding increase in US hate groups for 2nd year in a row.”

The SPLC stands for the Southern Poverty Law Center: an organization with slightly less credibility than Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, and without the academic degree in greasepaint.

And you won’t believe the shameless way the SPLC faked its latest Islamophobia crisis.

The Southern Poverty Law Center’s latest “hate group” sightings claims that the “number of anti-Muslim hate groups increased almost three-fold in 2016.”

That’s a lot of folds.

Continue reading here to see how they inflate the number of “groups” they claim are anti-Muslim.  The vast majority of the “groups” are individual, or small clusters, of grassroots patriots who work for nothing, but are up against this bunch of fat cats!

I’ve never bothered to look until today to see what the salaries are of the ‘leaders’ of the SPLC and I am blown away!  Much of this money comes from Americans they have scared with their “Hate” lists!

Look at these screenshots from a recent Form 990! (Form 990s are the reporting forms that non-profit groups must file with the IRS)

Fat cats!

From their 2015 Form 990 (available on their own website) where they reported a total revenue of $58 million:

screenshot-326

screenshot-327

screenshot-328

So, dear patriots! Know that you are up against powerful and rich liberals who have to keep cash flowing in by duping naive fellow Americans.

Trump is right about most of the media, because as Greenfield points out, ABC, NBC and even Fox News bleated out their fake news!

Our growing archive on the SPLC is here.

He is baaackkk! Omar Jamal in his element as he makes the news about Somalis sneaking in to Canada

Posted by Ann Corcoran on February 15, 2017

This is so funny!

If you have followed RRW for the last almost ten years, you will recognize the name Omar JamalI call him the ‘Jesse Jackson’ of the Somali ‘community’ in America.

omar-jamal

In 2009, even Minnesota Public Radio had him pegged as a Somali “talking head.” http://www.mprnews.org/story/2009/04/24/omar_jamal

When Somalis are in ‘crisis’ (when aren’t they in crisis!), here comes Jamal to direct lazy and gullible reporters so that they spin their stories to involve him and his view of the ‘community.’

I wish I had the time to go over the many many posts we have on Jamal who was originally found guilty of immigration fraud (he snuck in here from Canada!) but was never deported.  He apparently speaks English well, so reporters glom on to him and he helps them get their story straight—the way he sees it! He is good!

Just to give you an idea before you read about his take on the supposed flood of desperate Somalis heading to Canada across the Minnesota border (remember readers those Somalis headed to Canada are in the US ILLEGALLY), here is one post I wrote in 2008.

Denver dead Canadian Somali story!

Here in 2008, Jamal helped spin the media about something you have long forgotten or maybe never knew.

A Canadian Somali was found dead in a Denver hotel just before the 2008 Democratic Convention there.  He had enough cyanide to kill hundreds.  Jamal jumped in to the story (from Minneapolis) to say the guy was just a nut, nothing to see, move along, and the media did!

Here is our complete archive on Omar Jamal, the Somali spin-meister!

So here he is again, in his element, fielding media questions about the poor Somalis headed to Canada and the possibility that they could freeze to death (sniffling! dabbing eyes!).

From a CBC News at a Somali website:

Omar Jamal is dealing with a crisis. [ROFLMAO—ed]

Jamal is the executive director of the Somali Community of Minnesota, and for months now, he has seen people whose U.S. asylum claims have been rejected end up in Minneapolis, home to one of the largest Somali communities in the country. [Rejected asylum claim means they are NOT refugees—ed]

From there, they make arrangements to sneak into Canada, where they can file refugee claims.

Jamal has become used to this, but today he is fielding non-stop calls about a car full of refuge seekers and their driver who appear to have gone missing after leaving Minneapolis.

The plan was to drive the seven hours north to the Canadian border and cross the border on foot.

But they’re nowhere to be found.

“I’m getting calls from family members and I’m meeting relatives and as we speak right now, we are trying to figure out what happened to them and where are they? Are they still alive?” says Jamal.

You can read for yourself the long discussion about the missing Somalis (found o.k.) and the driver who took them to the border.

They’re making their way back to Minneapolis.

As a result of their attempted crossing, they’ve been flagged as a flight risk by U.S. immigration authorities. [Heck, Trudeau loves diversity, let Canada have them!—ed]

“They’re really worried, they’re scared,” says Jamal.

“The thing is, when they came [to the U.S.], they psychologically believed that they left everything behind, the bad things. But actually the place they’ve got here now doesn’t look much different than the place they came from.

“It’s a continuation of crisis and suffering and not being settled… That saga is still ongoing,” he says. “They left their country and they’re still on the run.”

Before too long, Jamal has moved on to the next phone call, the next request for help.

He knows this flood of asylum seekers won’t stop any time soon, and he has a message for his neighbours to the north.

Of course, then he sends his message telling Canada to welcome these illegal alien Somalis.

Learn about Alinsky and laugh at them!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on February 3, 2017

Just a quick further note on that Vox article (“bizzaro rant” cute huh!) about me yesterday.

It is important to know that the Left loves Alinsky—Saul Alinsky—and they have learned his lessons well. So, you need  to learn them too.  Read Rules for Radicals! (short description here at wikipedia)

saul-alinsky-obama

Remember when Obama, America’s #1 community organizer, first entered the White House, his administration tried Rule 13 on Rush Limbaugh, but it didn’t work! Ha! Ha! Ha!

BTW, if you didn’t know, Alinsky’s book is dedicated to Lucifer!

What Vox (and others) are doing now is employing Rule #13, not just against me, but against so many more important people on our team:

“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

What they don’t understand is that I get energized by attacks like that!

And here is the rule you should be applying to them! Use Rule #5:

“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

The war for the future of our great country is now well underway. Find your place in it! And, laugh!

For a good laugh! Vox calls my 2015 Youtube video a “bizarro rant” and makes my day

Posted by Ann Corcoran on February 2, 2017

I thought I was done today having written 5 posts since the crack of dawn this morning, but when a friend sent me this from VOX  (go here to see who the heck they are) I figured I needed to post it.

Vox just made my day!

A video claiming refugees are a Muslim plot to colonize America has nearly 3 million views

The woman, Ann Corcoran, claims that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is “under the influence of a powerful Muslim supremacist group” [That would be the Organization of Islamic Cooperation—ed]— and that the Muslim refugees it is sending over are the vanguard of an evil plot to colonize America and subject it to a theocratic Muslim government.

“This process of Muslim colonization is called the hijra,” she says, using the Arabic word for migration. “Mohammed told his followers to migrate and spread Islam, in order to dominate all the lands of the world … and that’s exactly what they’re doing now.”

This kind of bizarro rant is par for the course on YouTube. Except this one has received 2.6 million views since it went up in April 2015. Part of the reason is that it’s produced by America’s premier Islamophobic organization — one with strong links to the Trump administration.

Who is Ann Corcoran?

Continue here and see what they say!  And, don’t miss the link to their list of ‘white nationalists’ in the Trump Administration.

LOL!  And what is up with this? Their url has the word “sharia” in it, but the text is silent about it! Hmmmm!

This is their wrap-up:

It’s no accident, then, that this anti-refugee propaganda got such wide play.

It’s part of a powerful anti-Islam movement that has a much larger reach than most people in America imagine.

If you would like to see my other videos, go here.  And, hey, let’s push this first one over 3 million and give them a major thrill!

BTW, their research is lousy because they missed my HUGE award this past year, see here.

Update: Here is another story using some of the same information.

Beware of fake news and those trying to feed fake news!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on December 17, 2016

Admittedly I get all sorts of strange e-mails, but this series of e-mails is the most interesting, informative and amusing I’ve ever gotten.

fake-news-alert

We all, especially bloggers, need to be on the lookout for fake news. Was Jake a fake? Other than trying to get me to publish fake news, what else might he have been doing in this e-mail thread?

It began with an e-mail on December 1 from someone identifying himself as ‘Jake.’

Below is a chronological report on our e-mail conversation. I am taking out all references to numbers, ethnic groups and locations so that Jake (or his friends) can’t turn around and say I am promoting fake news.

Read this and tell me what you think!

Jake:

Hello,

My company is looking to provide jobs and housing for up to _____ (6-figure number) _____ (Muslim ethnic group) refugees in ____ and ____ (states). We are going to help them gain residence and resettle in the US so they can start a new life here. Can you point me in the right direction so that I may get in touch with the management of the refugee camps in _____and _____ (countries)? We have purchased two properties adjacent to our office park and manufacturing plants and based on early estimates we should be able to provide decent housing for at least ____(6-figure) people. Please if you can point me in the right direction as we are hoping to have these refugees resettled and getting their lives back together within ___ years. Our ultimate goal is the help them resettle in the area as seamlessly as possible.

Me:

Hi Jake, forgive me, but is this a joke? LOL! Tis the season of fake news after all….look forward to hearing from you if you are serious!

Jake:

Hi Anne,

I’m not sure what would be a joke about it but yes we would like to help as many as we can. Please let me know if you have any information for me.

Thank you,

Jake

Me:

Call me.

Jake:

Anne,

I’m currently overseas and have not had great luck with phone service where I am. I wanted to find out if you had information on the management for some of these refugee camps so we can talk to them about our resettlement program. Our goal is to provide____ (5-figure) well paying jobs and housing to families totaling up to ____(5-figure) people.

Me (going along but noting a big discrepancy in the numbers he first gave me):

Hi again, Your numbers have changed somewhat. Tell me more about what you have in mind and if you have been in touch with the US State Department about your plans? What sort of jobs are you envisioning?

When do you return to the US?

Jake (highlighting mine):

____ (6-figure number) is correct, ____ (5-figure number) was a typo. We have manufacturing plants and office parks in___ and ___ (states). We would provide training and jobs rang from manufacturing, groundskeeping, to office work depending on the needs and skills, as well as our national and international frieght network. Because of the specialized nature of our work we have been able to streamline the immigration process to gain residence at a much faster pace than is normally provided for refugees. By providing specialized work we can not only ensure that our company has skilled workers for decades to come, we can also bypass the slow relocation process. That is the glory of working with a large company. Right now we have the capacity to fill ____ (five figure) jobs and provide housing for ____ (6-figure numbers, but not the same numbers) people. The most important next step in the processes is to reach out to refugee camps and _____ (Muslim ethnic group) communities so that we can begin the immigration process in the smoothest way possible. Do you have some contact details for me? I think this is a wonderful opportunity to save lives while making the US more diverse. I also feel personally that we need a lot more cultural diversity in the US because the barbaric White/Christian leadership is just so destructive on a global level. As our nation is a melting pot, a refuge for refugees, I hope to see our leadership represented in similar numbers.  [I hope you are having a good chuckle by now, it gets better, keep reading!—ed]

Me:

Can you tell me why you feel the ____(ethnic group Jake named) are the best choice for your purpose? No matter which LEGAL immigration program you go through, you still must go through the US State Department, something you would not have to do if you chose out-of-work Americans (of any color), plus they already speak English.

Maybe if you described the actual work, I might be able to make some suggestions.

Thanks, look forward to hearing more!

Ann

p.s. when do you plan to be back in the US so we can have a phone conversation?

Jake:

_____(ethnic group) need our help, isn’t your website an advocacy group for refugees including the ____(ethnic group)? I thought you’d be the best person to talk to. I’ve honestly never met an American who was facing genocide, If an American is out of work they probably need to look harder. I’ve also found that immigrants have a better work ethic. Please let me know if you have the contact info I’m looking for. We build medical equipment, specifically MRI, Dental lasers, x-ray, and sample storage units.

Me (we are now at December 6th):

Jake, let’s be honest, I don’t know what your game is. And who are you?

For someone supposedly wanting to get ____ (6-figure number) of refugees in to the US quickly, you know so little about the immigration process in America that I can’t believe any company has employed you to get the job done. And, that you would write to a blogger for information that bloggers are not privy to—information about who to contact in refugee camps in Asia—strikes me as incredibly naive (if that is what it is).

Tell you what, if you give me the name of your company (LOL! is it the SPLC?), I will believe you. (I told him I planned to write about his inquiry)

Jake:

Wow, clearly your website is a fraud. You have no interest in helping refugees resettle in the US. That is pretty pathetic of you to have a supposed watchdog website for the benefit of refugees but ultimately have no interest in actually helping anyone, it’s just for show. I have written about 6 emails to you and you have not offered a single piece of useful information. We have offered jobs to immigrants for decades and the immigration process is handled by our legal office. I do not need sit here and waste me time speaking with a “blogger” if all you will do is ask me questions instead of being useful. From the brief look I had of your site, it seemed that you actually knew something about the situation in ____(country), but I guess that was false. If you can point me in the right direction so that I may get in touch with some camps, please do. If you are unable to provide this then please stop wasting my time. It seems there are two kind of people in this world, people who actually work to help others, and those who just blog about it….

Me:

“I do not need sit here and waste me time speaking with a “blogger” if all you will do is ask me questions instead of being useful.” [quoting Jake—ed]

Wow! Just wow! I’m wasting your time? You first e-mailed me hoping I would bite on some fake news. Sorry to disappoint you! Come on who do you really work for? No businessman looking to import immigrant labor would sound so dumb! (not to mention have such poor writing skills!) and contact a blogger for advice! Did you ever hear of the US State Department and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees?

Look forward to more e-mails from you!

Jake and his final salvo (or I think it is) on December 13th:

I’m actually dyslexic but do quite alright at my job and the pay is more than I will ever need. I don’t know what fake news you are talking about but you are a disgrace of a human being if you would use refugees to push a blog about helping refugees but have no interest in actually taking action. The fact that you are profiting by pretending to help others makes you not only a fraud, but also a joke. It’s ok, we have been put in touch with the management for two camps and will be beginning the immigration process shorty. I cannot tell you how disgusted I am that you would attempt to profit from the suffering of people. If there is any justice in the world you will also feel the pain and suffering these people experience. I have been to every corner of the world with my work and I promise you that if there is one group of people who deserve to live in refugee camps and face persecution it’s the average American white trash like you who has no concept of the world around them outside of their bubble of ignorance.

Good day, if you believe in God I hope that he has mercy on you. You are a disgrace and it’s artificial people like you who are the reason our country will fall.

Anyone want to hazard a guess about what Jake was up to all along? Was he trying to get me to report a fake news story? Write a derogatory e-mail to him? Trump derangement syndrome? Or, what?  Look forward to hearing what you think (no expletives or threats please!)!
