Cambridge, Mass: No refugees for you! Neighborhood is too wealthy!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 9, 2017

Waahhhh!  The Harvard kids want refugees, but there isn’t any low income housing in Cambridge so the US State Department and its contractors send refugees to working class communities elsewhere in Massachusetts!

Tony Cambridge, Mass. home to Harvard University won’t see refugees placed there anytime soon! More Boston photos: http://www.stevenedson.net/photographs-of-boston-01/rowers-at-weeks-bridge-cambridge-ma-35_6_767.html

Moral of the story:  Wealthy communities don’t get refugees, but working class communities do.  And, if you build low income housing, your town becomes a refugee magnet!

From the Boston Globe:

“Help us welcome local refugees to our community!” read a flier advertising the carnival in Cambridge, where attendees would later pose at a photo booth, mingle, and munch on baked goods inside a balloon-festooned gymnasium.

“We wanted to have . . . an opportunity for refugee families to come and have a fun time, relax, play games,” said Caitlin Nichols, a Harvard PhD student who helped organize last month’s event.

But notably absent from the event? Refugees.

[….]

In September 2015, after watching the number of Syrians displaced by violence soar, Cambridge City Councilor Nadeem Mazen decided the council had “a moral and economic imperative” to act. He won passage of legislation calling on city officials to determine Cambridge’s capacity to take in Syrian refugees and then provide those families with the housing and support they would need.

Cambridge “peace and justice” commissioner, Brian Corr. https://twitter.com/bcorr

But when peace commissioner Brian Corr — the local official charged with promoting “peace and social justice within Cambridge and in the wider world”— began reaching out to refugee resettlement agencies and government officials, he was told, politely, no thanks.

“I spoke to a lot of people and got a lot of e-mail information. Long story short . . . Cambridge is not the place where refugees get resettled,” Corr said.

Where refugees end up is largely at the discretion of the State Department and nine resettlement agencies nationwide. From 2014 to 2016, 233 Syrian refugees arrived in Massachusetts. More than half went to Lowell, Springfield, or West Springfield, according to State Department records. None wound up in Cambridge.

Financial support is limited for new arrivals. Representatives of the State Department and Massachusetts resettlement agencies said they consider two factors when placing refugees, in addition to family ties.

“The key factor is a combination of cost of living and employment opportunities that will allow them to become economically self-sufficient quickly because the support that the federal government provides is extremely limited,” said Jeffrey Thielman, president and CEO of the International Institute of New England, the area’s largest resettlement agency.

Here they are admitting it again, the contractor*** pockets half of the per head payment the refugee gets from the feds (no mention that all forms of welfare are available to refugees upon arrival). BTW, the contractors primary job is to get the refugees signed up for their services and then they move on to the next batch of paying “clients.”

Each refugee receives a one-time stipend of $2,075 from the federal government, and nearly half of that goes to the resettlement agency to help finance their work, according to a State Department spokeswoman.

Agencies sometimes provide refugees additional cash assistance, and some refugees can receive $428 per month from the state for up to 18 months.

Such small sums don’t go far in Cambridge, where two-bedroom apartments rent for around $3,000 a month. That’s twice as expensive as housing in Springfield or Lowell.

Throughout Greater Boston, inexpensive housing options are few and shrinking. Thielman said the only places in the area where his agency can find housing for refugees are shared units for single individuals in Lynn or Dorchester — places where they can pay $350 or less in rent per month.

Continue reading here because some refugee advocates have a new angle. See what it is!

This is my ‘laugh of the day!’ post but it isn’t so funny!

The International Institute of New England (aka International Institute of Boston) works as a subcontractor for the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI).

Don’t forget to write to the White House!

***Federal contractors/middlemen/lobbyists/community organizers paid by you to place refugees in your towns and cities.  Because their income is largely dependent on taxpayer dollars based on the number of refugees admitted to the US, the only way for real reform of how the US admits refugees is to remove the contractors from the process.

Actor Clooney: Do as I say, not as I do!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 7, 2017

These super rich Lefty celebrities have no shame!

George Clooney is reportedly moving his young family to his Los Angeles mansion which is deemed safer (from Jihadists) than is his property in the UK or his Italian get-away mansion at Lake Como.

From Breitbart (hat tip: Brenda):

Report: Open Borders Advocate George Clooney Moving Family Back to Trump’s America for ‘Security Reasons’

Actor and immigration activist George Clooney will move to Los Angeles with his wife Amal and newborn twins Ella and Alexander due to security concerns at his England estate, according to a report.

In 2016, Clooney and his wife praise German Chancellor Angela Merkel for her welcome to the migrant invaders (not using those words of course!). Italy as an escape? maybe not so much! http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2016/02/12/george-clooney-praises-merkel-for-migrant-policy-as-he-seeks-greater-seclusion-in-italy/

Life & Style magazine reported last week that the 56-year-old Oscar-winner will move his newly-expanded family to his mansion in Studio City, California, after deeming his 17th century mansion in Sonning, England to be not sufficiently safe for them.

“As soon as Amal found out she was pregnant, he hired former Secret Service agents to assess all his properties and make recommendations for improvement,” an unnamed Clooney “insider” told the magazine. “His mansion in Studio City [Calif.] was deemed the most secure, and it’s within minutes of an LAPD station.”

[….]

In May, British government officials disclosed that 23,000 known jihadi terrorists are believed to be residing in Britain, far more than the 3,000 that had initially been reported.

[….]

In February of last year, the actor met privately with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and praised the German leader’s acceptance of refugees from Syria and other countries. The same month, Clooney told Sky News in an interview that the United States is not doing “enough” to help Syrian refugees, and that 10,000 refugees per year was too low a figure to be admitting into the country.

[….]

In July of last year, a makeshift refugee camp was established in Lake Como after the Swiss government decided to close its southern border with Italy. Dozens of refugees arrived from African and Asian countries were housed in tents close to the Clooneys’ home, with a local tour guide telling the Daily Mail that the refugee camps were a “big problem because of the huge numbers [of refugees] who are arriving all the time.”

More here.

Bill Gates woke up and smelled the coffee, any chance Clooney will get it?

IRC sucks down over $115 MILLION tax dollars since Trump arrives in Washington

Posted by Ann Corcoran on June 29, 2017

Don’t miss the expose’ from Charles Johnson at GotNews from last week on one of the nine fake non-profit groups*** responsible for placing refugees in your cities and towns.

As I said in my previous post, the first and foremost requirement for any reform of the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program is to bar these supposedly ‘charitable’ groups from receiving tax dollars which they can then use to work against us and this White House.

LOL! That is IRC CEO Miliband with “propaganda puppet” Elmo! And you pay Miliband’s salary of over a half a million bucks a year! Daily Mail mocks! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4649082/CNN-mocked-featuring-Elmo-panel-travel-ban.html

We have extensive archives on the International Rescue Committee and its present leader David Miliband.

Don’t miss my January post—Trump could save millions by cutting off the IRC!

From GotNews (hat tip Richard at Blue Ridge Forum @highblueridge):

Deep state agents within the Department of Health and Human Services, the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development have paid over $115 million to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) nonprofit that is fighting President Donald J. Trump’s America-first ban on immigration from countries with huge populations seeking to do citizens harm.

The International Rescue Committee led by former U.K. Labour politician David Miliband has come under fire since the organization’s Tuesday release on World Refugee Day of an anti-sovereignty self-promotional video calling for greater Muslim immigration to Western countries.

Go here to see the video and the proof about how much of your money they are sucking down.

About the photo:  On the left is CNN’s Clarissa Ward.  She has been hosting the early a.m. show with Chris Cuomo this week.  Watch sometime and see if you agree with me that Ward looks like she is constantly sucking on a lemon!

*** These are the fake non-profits largely funded by US taxpayers to place refugees in cities and towns (and which use their financial power to propagandize against the Trump White House)!

Too funny! ‘Anonymous’ channels me and Daniel Horowitz

Posted by Ann Corcoran on June 13, 2017

Reader Sonya sent this video (thanks!) of ‘Anonymous’ from Saturday entitled: Anonymous–Message to the President of the United States (Donald Trump).

He admonishes the Trump Administration and tells them to cut the refugee numbers entering the US to zero (where have I heard that before?).

LOL! Toward the end of the five minute video (with 257,596 views right now), I thought his British-accented words sounded familiar!  The phrase about having to “drag Congress kicking and screaming” is what got my attention.

Here is my post (from June 6th) on Daniel Horowitz’s prescription for the President and my comments that ‘Anonymous’ (whoever he is!) is using (LOL! I have no copyright):

You will be hearing more from me going forward on the specific legislation needed to scrap or reform the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program.  But, I tell you that the Republican ‘leadership’ in Congress will not lead on this and will have to be dragged kicking and screaming to lift a finger to reform/re-write the Refugee Act of 1980.

In my view, there is only one thing the President can do to move Congress on the issue and that is to put a complete halt to the USRAP. He must set the refugee admissions level at zero! And, leave it there until reform measures are passed by Congress!

And, here is the truth:  if he makes no move along those lines, or the additional lines addressed by Horowitz, he will be blamed for a Manchester in America (not Ryan, not McConnell, not the refugee contractors, not the ‘deep state’ blocking his moves, not the media or the Leftwing).

The blame will be on DJT exclusively.

Here is just a bit of the transcript:

Whatever it takes to get the message to the President!

Right Wing Watch: Ann Corcoran echoes Rep. Steve King on babies

Posted by Ann Corcoran on June 3, 2017

Yes! Western conservative-minded women must have more babies! Lots more babies!  Demography is destiny!

Most of the educated women my age fell for the Left Wing activists’ admonition to have no more than 2 babies to save the planet—guess who didn’t listen?

LOL! Every time you hear Muslim political activists say that they are all for saving the environment and want global warming stopped, ask them if they plan to limit their family sizes!

Thanks to Right Wing Watch for getting my words out to a wider audience!  Of all the things I said in the interview with Sandy Rios on Friday, this is what stirs up the Left?  Seems to me that they better learn a little more about Islam and the Hijra.

Anti-Refugee Activist: Conservative Women ‘Better Have Babies’ To Prevent Sharia Takeover

Ann Corcoran, who heads the anti-refugee group Refugee Resettlement Watch, said in an interview with the American Family Association’s Sandy Rios this morning that she always tells conservative women that they had “better have babies” in order to prevent Muslims from constituting enough of the population to be able to “shove Sharia law down our throats.”

Right Wing Watch reporter Miranda Blue: http://www.rightwingwatch.org/post_author/miranda-blue/

Rios, who is the American Family Association’s governmental affairs director and hosts a daily radio show on the group’s radio network, claimed that “many” Muslim refugees “are coming here for a purpose, and that is the purpose to overpopulate and dominate and really take over countries wherever they go eventually.” She cited a recent Pew report that found that Muslims are the world’s fastest-growing religious group in large part because “Muslims have more children than members of the seven other major religious groups.”

“The point is, we have to keep the long view on this, and the long view doesn’t look very good, does it?” Rios said.

Corcoran agreed that “it doesn’t look very good,” warning that “Europe is going down the tubes” and the United States could face a similar fate if the Muslim population isn’t limited.

“It doesn’t even require a majority-Muslim population, it only requires a percentage of somewhere around 10 percent to start pushing for all sorts of Sharia compliance by the general public,” she said. “And the way things are going, and the fear most Europeans have of speaking up about this—or even Americans have, to some degree, to less degree perhaps than the Europeans—they’re just going to be able to shove Sharia law down our throats as time goes on just because people are too fearful to speak up. And I always tell conservative young women, you’d better have babies.”

“Yeah, right, and lots of them,” Rios responded. “Lots of them.”

Corcoran’s comments recalled Iowa Rep. Steve King’s recent remark that we “can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.”

Steve King nailed it here (with his politically-incorrect truism) or their heads wouldn’t have exploded as they did!

Ms. Blue didn’t like my video in 2015 either, see here. Wow! I see this morning that it is at 2.9 million views!

What you can do:

People ask me all the time, what can they do to save America/Western Civilization (I just started a new category titled: What you can do).  Here is one more idea—encourage like-minded young women to have large families!  Make it a badge of honor. Or, if you don’t know any, at least talk openly/publicly about the subject of demographic destiny and the advance of Shariah law.

Al Gore: Syrian civil war and Arab Spring both resulted from climate change/food riots

Posted by Ann Corcoran on June 1, 2017

On the South Korean island of Jeju. http://paradiseintheworld.com/jeju-island-south-korea/

Apparently, not a peep from Gore in his recent speech at the Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity about Islamic supremacists like ISIS and Inter-Islam civil wars causing unrest throughout a large portion of the world.

I wonder how much he was paid to speak at the posh paradise island resort?

From the Korea Herald:

Climate crisis behind political riots and refugees

JEJU ISLAND — Climate crisis-induced food shortages were behind the Arab revolutions in 2010 known as the Arab Spring, former United States Vice President Al Gore said Thursday, making the case for action to counter climate change as a growing cause of social instability.

Gore, vice president from 1993-2001 under former President Bill Clinton, was giving a speech on “Challenges and Opportunities of Climate Change” at the on-going Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity on this resort island.

Spark that began Arab Spring was about food….

“(It was) a significant event because a food vendor in Tunisia at the peak of the food crisis set himself on fire and the video of that self-immolation caused the Arab Spring,” he said, referring to the democracy protests that originated in Tunisia. “His last words were not ‘Down with the Tyrant,’ his last words were ‘How am I supposed to live?’

“(Nevertheless) the connection between climate crisis and political instability is an issue that has not yet received enough attention,” he stressed.

[….]

Also behind the outbreak of the Syrian civil war were climate change-triggered food problems, Gore also said, highlighting that a climate-related drought from 2006-2010 destroyed 60 percent of all the farms in the country and drove 1.5 million climate refugees into the cities of Syria.

“When these climate refugees collided with another 1.5 million refugees from the Iraq War in the cities of Syria, the social explosion happened,” according to Gore.

Sheesh!

See my ‘Climate refugee’ category where 50 posts are archived.  The world ‘refugee crisis’ will never be resolved because even if all of the Islam-generated strife ended tomorrow, the Far Left is busy readying a new reason to open your wallets and your homes throughout the west and invite in the third world.

Will Donald Trump “lead us into the wilderness” today on Paris Climate Accord? I have never looked at the ‘Accord,’ does it make us responsible for MORE refugees?  Does anyone know?

‘Welcoming America’ to host German officials to show them how great our refugee integration is!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on April 15, 2017

Alert: This is NOT fake news!

We have told you about ‘Welcoming America’ previously.  We first heard about them in June 2013 when we attended a meeting the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement was hosting in Lancaster, PA.  It is where we first heard about refugee “seedlings” planted in communities and where we learned that some of us asking questions about the program and how much it costs were referred to as “pockets of resistance.”

Welcoming America is the ‘brainchild’ of David Lubell. https://www.welcomingamerica.org/content/david-lubell-0

See that early warning post here.

‘Welcoming America’ got its start with Soros money. Propaganda is their specialty!

Now we see that ‘Welcoming America’ and other groups are bringing a delegation of German officials here to learn how great everything is in cities overloaded with refugees and how well the refugees are “integrating” (they never use the word assimilate).

From Digital Journal we learn that the delegation will go to Washington, DC (only a tiny number of refugees are ever placed in DC!), then on to Detroit, Nashville, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.

If you are a community leader in one of those cities and are concerned about the refugee overload in your cities, try to figure out some way to get the attention of the German officials because you can bet that ‘Welcoming America’ is going to give them nothing but a glowing report on how well refugees ‘integrate’ and how everything is peace and love!

Here is the story:

Apr. 14, 2017 / PRZen / WASHINGTON — Twenty-five German integration professionals and public officials will travel to the United States, from April 30 to May 9, to learn firsthand how American cities approach community integration and resettlement as part of the Welcoming Communities Transatlantic Exchange (WCTE).

German citizens will be told that everything is just wonderful with refugees in America! What is wrong with you people!

The WCTE, which is now in its second year in 2017, is a professional exchange program for integration practitioners and leaders from the United States and Germany who work to integrate refugees and immigrants into their local communities. It annually brings together over 40 individuals from nine communities to expand their networks and share best practices and innovative approaches to integration initiatives at the local level.

This upcoming 10-day visit will provide individuals representing the German communities of Düsseldorf, Freiburg, Kreis Düren, Leipzig, and Münster with a wide-ranging look into how American cities welcome and integrate newcomers into their communities through a series of site visits and meetings with local governments, refugee resettlement agencies, interfaith groups, local schools and employers, among others.

The program kicks off in Washington, D.C. where the delegation will take part in meetings designed to provide a national perspective on issues of refugee resettlement and U.S. immigration policy. The group will then travel in three cohorts to Detroit, Nashville, and Salt Lake City before convening together in Los Angeles. In each city, the German delegates will have opportunities to meet with their U.S. counterparts and learn about the many different local approaches American communities apply to address the challenge of sustainably integrating newcomers.

You can bet that your citizens’ group that is questioning the cost and issues of security and cultural disruption will not be included in the show and tell sessions!

More here.

Click here for our complete ‘Welcoming America’ archive.  Someone should do more extensive writing on this bunch and what they do.

And, if you are new to the issue, we have a huge archive on the ‘Invasion of Europe’ where you can find out what a disaster for Europe that Germany has created with its open-door policy toward migrants.

Trump may increase funding for refugees in FY18 budget…..

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 18, 2017

….but before you panic, as I did when I read Breitbart’s headline (‘Trump Budget Includes ‘Significant Funding of . . . Refugee Program’), some of the funding proposal likely involves humanitarian help abroad and development of the ‘safe zones’ (abroad!) concept.

President Donald Trump salutes after laying a wreath at the Hermitage, the home of President Andrew Jackson, to commemorate Jackson’s 250th birthday, Wednesday, March 15, 2017, in Nashville, Tenn. (AP Photo/Evan Vucci)

Here is Michael Patrick Leahy with an inside look at Trump Administration funding plans:

The blueprint for the Trump administration’s FY 2018 budget released on Thursday “allows for significant funding of humanitarian assistance, including food aid, disaster, and refugee program funding” in the State Department.

“This would focus funding on the highest priority areas while asking the rest of the world to pay their fair share,” the blueprint states.

“Taken together with the executive order, it looks like the president will keep the refugee program with a lower annual number, like the 50,000 limit specified in Executive Order 13780, and when the annual determination is released, identify countries of concern in a way that excludes Somalia, and other countries of concern that are known to harbor terrorists,” a source familiar with the federal refugee resettlement program tells Breitbart News.

[….]

“As long as he keeps the refugee program going, we are going to get more people from countries related to real security issues and regardless, the program needs to be legislatively reformed and regulations that have caused Constitutional violations repealed before restarting in FY 2018,” the source adds.

So, the Trump team is aware and is aiming to “legislatively” reform the program which we have been insisting is the only way to permanently fix (if possible!) the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program.

Otherwise, if there is no legislative fix, then in 4, or 8, years the whole huge, uncontrolled, flow could begin again with a new president. (See ‘Where is Congress?’ here)

Reform of “regulations” is the Administration’s job!

Regulations do not need “repeal” (implying Congress gets involved), they need only be trashed or re-written by Trump’s people. (Could they trash the “regulations” that were written for the Wilson-Fish amendments? As I understand it, those regulations wrongly authorized a non-profit group to run a refugee program in a state that had withdrawn from the program.)

Leahy continues….

The language of the blueprint, however, could be interpreted to suggest that the Trump administration’s “significant funding of . . . [the] refugee program” defines the program broadly to include safe zones in other parts of the world in addition to the federal refugee resettlement program. As such, a further reduction of refugees resettled in the United States in FY 2018 could be entirely possible.

Leahy goes on to discuss the recent court decisions in Hawaii and in Maryland, noting that the judge in Hawaii did place a restraining order (we believe completely illegally) on Trump’s reduction of the Obama PROPOSED CEILING (see ceiling discussion here).

Then at the end of his informative piece, we get a laugh!  Leahy wraps up with this….

As to the number refugees who will be resettled in the United States during the balance of FY 2017, President Trump may take a page from President Andrew Jackson, whose tomb he honored during his visit to Nashville on Wednesday.

“John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it,” President Jackson said of an 1832 Supreme Court decision unfavorable to his policies issued by the Marshall Court.

President Trump’s attitude to the unfavorable decision issued by Judge Watson regarding a president’s Constitutional and statutory authority to limit the number of refugees arriving in the United States, a decision Judge Chuang [in Maryland case—ed] may agree with on March 28, may well be something like this:

“Judge Watson has made his decision; now let him pay for it.”

Hawaii needs refugees! Sues feds over refugee pause, travel restrictions from certain Muslim countries

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 10, 2017

You can’t make this up.

Surely you have already seen the news that the state of Hawaii is claiming that the Trump Administration’s latest Executive Order limiting travel to the US from certain countries and pausing the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program will hurt Hawaii!

Hawaii Attorney General Doug Chin spoke at Muslim Association of Hawaii, alleges they aren’t getting enough Muslim refugees (he didn’t really say that exactly), but they clearly need some! http://www.civilbeat.org/2017/03/hawaii-becomes-first-state-to-challenge-trumps-new-travel-ban/

I’m going to propose (when the refugee pause and the travel restrictions are lifted) that the state of Hawaii be placed at the top of the refugee-receiving list and get its FAIR SHARE of refugees especially from Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. to make up for lost time in reaping the rewards of diversity!

Hawaii resettled a grand total of 123 refugees in 14 years, 5 months and ten days (up to today).

I’ll show you below with more numbers how completely ignorant and ill-informed Hawaii’s AG sounds.

Here is Seattlepi:

Hawaii has become the first state to mount a federal court challenge to President Trump’s revised executive order blocking travel from six predominantly Muslim countries and barring Syrian refugees for 120 days.

Attorneys for the Aloha State on Wednesday asked a U.S. District Court judge in Honolulu to block the new Trump order.

“This new executive order is nothing more than Muslim Ban 2.0; under the pretense of national security, it still targets immigrants and refugees,” Hawaii Attorney General Doug Chin said in a statement.

[….]

In its court filing, Hawaii argues that the rights of its citizens, and its tourism economy, will be damaged by the revised Trump order, which takes effect March 16.

The new executive order will damage Hawaii’s “economy, educational institutions and tourism industry,” the state argues in its brief.

Rolling on floor laughing my head off! Hawaii “welcoming persons from all nations around the world into the fabric of its society.”

“It is damaging Hawaii’s institutions, harming its economy and eroding Hawaii’s sovereign interest in maintaining the separation between church and state as well as in welcoming persons from all nations around the world into the fabric of its society.”

Ismail Elshikh, Muslim Association of Hawaii is a co-plaintiff in suit against Trump Administration. http://www.civilbeat.org/2017/03/hawaii-becomes-first-state-to-challenge-trumps-new-travel-ban/

Now, here is the real power behind the suit—Muslim Association of Hawaii!

Seattlepi continues….

The state’s suit has a co-plaintiff, Ismail Elshikh, the imam of the Muslim Association of Hawaii, saying the Trump order “inflicts a grave injury on Muslims in Hawaii, including Dr. Elshikh, his family and members of his mosque.”

Let’s look at Hawaii’s refugee program!

Checking Wrapsnet this morning, here is a summary of the refugees admitted to Hawaii in the last 14 years, 5 months and 10 days:

Of the total 123 refugees they “welcomed” to Hawaii, the largest number (66) were Vietnamese who came in the early years (FY03,04,05).  Another 40 were Burmese (most Burmese are Christians).  Only 5 from any Middle East country came.  In 2004, 1 Iranian was resettled there and in 2013 they got a grand total of 4 Iraqis.  None of the thousands of Syrians admitted to the US in the last 2 years were seeded in Hawaii!

A smattering of Russians and Ukrainians were placed there over the years.

There were no refugees sent to Hawaii at all in FY11 and last year!

Zero Africans were planted in Hawaii in all those years.  That is interesting since when I read some books on Obama’s father arriving in Hawaii in about 1960, see especially this book, I learned that Hawaiians were not partial to Africans and that Barack Sr. attracted much attention because of his race and demeanor.  Hmmmm?

Why wasn’t the state of Hawaii begging for refugees over the last 14 years, 5 months and 10 days?

Seems it might be just the right time to send Hawaii its fair share of Somalis, Ethiopians, Eritreans, and Congolese!

BTW, how is the welfare system in Hawaii, does anyone know?

Here is an idea!  There are no travel restrictions between Minnesota and Hawaii.  Maybe load up a few planes with excess refugees there and send them to Hawaii (I hear that the climate is much better!).

ADL twitter campaign #ThisIsARefugee is an opportunity for fun!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on March 2, 2017

The Anti-Defamation League, pushing back on the Trump Administration’s efforts to slow the flow of potentially dangerous refugees to America, has launched a twitter campaign titled #ThisIsARefugee.

Putting a face on the refugee issue….

Announced on February 12th, their campaign isn’t getting much traction except from Pamela Geller and yours truly. I posted some of my refugee criminals including Esar Met, Fazliddin Kurbanov, Jasim Ramadon, and today’s newest member of the refugee criminal hit parade Abdirhman Ahmad Noor.

Here is the ADL website with their press release:

New York, NY, February 12, 2017 … Anti-Defamation League (ADL) CEO Jonathan A. Greenblatt announced the start of the #ThisIsARefugee campaign on the heels of today’s National Day of Jewish Action for Refugees rally in New York sponsored by HIAS***.

As the pre-eminent Jewish civil rights organization, ADL is launching the effort to bring to light how much refugees have given to make America the country it is today and underscore how short-sighted and contrary to American values a ban on refugees is.

Still trying to get traction just 4 days ago:

We can play the story game too!

As I have said repeatedly, for every refugee violinist or Harvard grad story, I can give you a story about a refugee terrorist or a criminal.

If you are on twitter and have some refugee stories, post them here #ThisIsARefugee!
