Media “fact checks” Senator who said more than half of Muslims in Australia are not in the labor force

Posted by Ann Corcoran on June 4, 2018

Don’t you just love it when the Left leaning media pounces on a number given by a Senator they obviously despise, does a “fact check,” proclaims him “wrong” in a headline and proceeds then to reveal some facts to show that he was pretty darn close when he said 56% of Australian Muslims are not in the labor force.

Here is the story at ABC News Australia with some very interesting facts about the pathetic numbers of Muslims working in that country.  Conclusion: Muslim women (home cranking out babies) are dragging their numbers down!

Supremes to hear Trump travel ban case today, fears Trump will win

Posted by Ann Corcoran on April 25, 2018

According the NPR people lined up as early as this past Sunday in order to get a coveted seat for the hearing on the President’s travel ban.

Photo from a 2017 demonstration:  https://www.timesheadline.com/world/us-supreme-court-cancels-trumps-muslim-ban-hearing-8776.html

National Public Radio‘s Nina Totenberg has a lengthy, pretty straightforward, story. Here is a bit of it:

The Supreme Court’s Grand Finale: Trump’s Travel Ban

The Trump administration’s travel ban finally reaches the U.S. Supreme Court Wednesday, posing enormous questions involving the structure of the American government and the values of the country.

At issue is the third version of the ban — which the president has complained is a “watered down” version. The court allowed it to go into effect while the case was litigated, but the lower courts have ruled all three versions either violate federal law or are unconstitutional.

Like the earlier two bans, version 3.0 bars almost all travelers from six mainly Muslim countries, and it adds a ban on travelers from North Korea and government officials from Venezuela.

supreme-court-2017

The questions in the case are the stuff of history:

~Can the courts even review a presidential order on immigration that invokes national security?

~Did the president violate the immigration law’s command against discrimination based on nationality?

~And does the executive order violate the Constitution’s ban on religious discrimination?

The travel-ban argument will be the last of the term. And the importance of the argument is not lost on the court. For the first time since the same-sex-marriage arguments in 2015, the court is allowing same-day distribution of the session’s audio. Nonetheless, people started lining up at 7 a.m. Sunday in hopes of snagging a seat Wednesday.

The court itself will be under extreme pressure. There are only about two months left in the term and an unusually large number of cases yet to be decided.

One key question is this one:

Can the court consider Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric?

See more of the NPR story here.  Legal beagles will find it interesting.

Then see that the Leftwing Slate predicts:

Trump’s Going to Win

Why the Supreme Court will probably uphold the president’s travel ban.

A decision isn’t expected until June.

He was headed to Malaysia, now he is happily settled in Arizona (on your dime!)

Posted by Ann Corcoran on February 21, 2018

….and plans to bring his wife and daughter to live here too! (He left them behind at least 5 years ago in ‘dangerous’ Iran).

Australia’s SBS News appears to be doing a series on those lucky, mostly Muslim, ‘refugees’ who attempted to get to Australia illegally and were then detained for nearly 5 years in offshore detention facilities with the Australian government refusing to consider their asylum claims.hit-the-jackpot3

Many are hitting the jackpot and although Australia isn’t letting them in they are now free in America.  And, every few weeks a new batch arrives.

Here is a story about one of those that Australia didn’t want, but Obama did and arranged for many to come just as he was walking out of the White House.

Trump is now honoring a deal he once called “dumb.”

(See my yuuuge archive on the Australia deal by clicking here.)

You can read the entire gushing story yourself, but what got me is that the star of the story was initially headed for Malaysia, a Muslim country, and only at the urging of a friend got on a people smuggling boat headed for Australia.

As many of my readers have commented over the years—so if it was so dangerous back home, why did these men leave their wives and children behind?

From SBS News:

[Phoenix, Arizona] is home to Reza Mohammad Nezhad, an Iranian refugee who in 2013 fled his homeland amid fears of persecution, and would eventually try to reach Australia.  [They never tell us exactly why these Muslim men were persecuted. We are expected to take their word for it.—ed]

The 43-year-old left behind his wife and young child, hoping one day they could join him.

He travelled to Malaysia, then Christmas Island, but he was detained in Australia’s Manus Island holding facilities in Papua New Guinea, where he would spend almost four-and-a-half years.

[….]

Reza intended to settle in Malaysia after he fled Iran, but changed his mind after a friend there recommended Australia. People in Australia did not harass refugees, his friend said; they had freedom and a strong democracy. It would be a journey he would soon regret.

From Indonesia, Reza boarded a people-smuggling boat headed for Christmas Island. [Indonesia is a Muslim country too—ed]

[….]

“I was chosen to be resettled in Arizona,” he told SBS News through a translator. “I don’t know their reasoning, but they chose Arizona for me.”

[US State Department is building ethnic enclaves where people of certain cultures/religions get to live with their own kind of people and they have contractors facilitating the project! Never mind that you are a racist if you want to live with your people!—ed]

[….]

He has also got involved with the Iranian American Society of Arizona, which holds several cultural events in the city each week.

“There are many Iranians living here,” he said. “It’s a good city. I’m happy here.”

It’s warm too, which he likes, and he doesn’t feel out of place in a city packed with minority groups. More than 40 per cent of people in Phoenix are Hispanic; Mexico is just 200km to the city’s south.

[….]

In one year Reza will be eligible for permanent residency in the US. In five years, he will be able to apply for citizenship. He hopes he will be able to bring his wife and daughter to be with him soon. [Chain migration!—ed]

Continue here and note the anti-Trump tone of the SBS story even as it was Trump who is making all of this possible for these lucky jackpot winners!

Most Aussies want immigration curtailed, 48% want Muslim ban

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 30, 2017

More than half surveyed said Australia felt like a foreign country!

And, the upshot of this news story is a warning that if the nationalists can mount a  countrywide political campaign they could become the power in Australia.

Rejecting the usual excuse that migrants stimulate economic growth, economics are not a major concern—loss of culture and quality of life is driving the worry.  (Hint! Although it isn’t politically correct, don’t be afraid to bring up those concerns!)

From Perth Now:

THREE quarters of Australians believe the country doesn’t need any more people and nearly half support a partial ban on Muslim immigrants.

Nauru refugees

For those of you wondering, there is no fresh news about the possibly 1,250 Australian rejected asylum seekers coming to America after the first 50 or so we reported here last month: https://refugeeresettlementwatch.wordpress.com/2017/09/29/first-50-of-australias-failed-asylum-seekers-have-arrived-in-us/

An Australian Population Research Institute survey of more than 2000 people also found 54 per cent want a reduction in the annual migrant intake.

The independent organisation believes the results are driven by quality of life concerns and rapid changes in Australia’s ethnic and religious make-up.

“Australian voters’ concern about immigration levels and ethnic diversity does not derive from economic adversity,” academics Katharine Betts and Bob Birrell wrote in a report based on the survey.

“Rather, it stems from the increasingly obvious impact of population growth on their quality of life and the rapid change in Australia’s ethnic and religious make-up.”

[….]

… 74 per cent of those surveyed believe Australia is “already full”, with most pointing to roads congestion, hospitals capacity, affordable housing and fewer jobs as evidence.

Some 54 per cent want Australia to cut its annual immigrant intake of about 190,000 people and 48 per cent backed a partial ban on Muslim immigration.

[….]

The strongest support for the partial ban came from One Nation voters (89 per cent), with more than 50 per cent of Liberal voters agreeing and just over a third of Labor supporters.

“The willingness to take a tough, discriminating stance on Muslim immigration is not limited to a small minority, but extends to almost half of all voters,” the report said.

More than half of those surveyed feared Australia risked losing its culture and identity, with a similar number saying it had changed beyond recognition and sometimes “felt like a foreign country”.

More here.

And we have an entire category on news from Australia, click here to learn more.

By the way, RRW gets readers daily from over 100 countries, but Australia is always in the top 3 for sending readers my way.

Yikes! Wikileaks hack reveals what Hillary (really!) thinks of black and Muslim immigrants

Posted by Ann Corcoran on October 9, 2016

Of course, when I saw this the first thing that came to my mind was: If she believes this, then why on earth is she promoting more Muslim and African refugee resettlement for hundreds of American towns?

hillary-and-podesta-seiu

E-mail pen pals! Hillary with long-time mentor John Podesta at SEIU shindig. Podesta is Clinton’s 2016 campaign manager.

From Freedom Daily:

The whistle-blowing site also released emails from Clinton campaign chairman, John Podesta. Podesta once served as former President Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff.

[….]

One particular email exchange between Hillary Clinton and Podesta shows the candidate has a serious problem with blacks and Muslims. It’s not just a serious problem, it’s downright racist.

In the email from February of this year Hillary states that:

“The main reason behind successful immigration should be painfully obvious to even the most dimwitted of observers: Some groups of people are almost always highly successful given only half a chance (Jews*, Hindus/Sikhs and Chinese people, for example), while others (Muslims, blacks** and Roma***, for instance) fare badly almost irrespective of circumstances.”

Hillary continues by labeling blacks & Muslims “professional never-do-wells.”

Can you imagine if Donald Trump said that!

Visit Freedom Daily to see screen shots of the exchanges. If I hadn’t seen the screenshots I might not have believed this happened.

Go here to see what we have written about Podesta over many years.

Come on, you can do it! Say “MORATORIUM”

Posted by Ann Corcoran on December 5, 2015

malik

She could not be “vetted.”

Where are you Virgil Goode?

Did you see that even the New York Times wrote about the female Islamic terrorist and how there was no way to “vet” her or to “screen” her as she came to live among us.  Any logical person can see that.  There was no d*** data, no biographic and biometric information to tap! And, if asked about any terror connections in personal interviews she certainly did not tell the truth.

So, don’t you wonder why only TEN US Senators can see that and that 89 others are so willfully blind. See our post on Senator Paul’s failed attempt at a moratorium on issuing visas to those coming from jihad-producing countries.

And, here see Daniel Greenfield on the killers yesterday.  If you read nothing else from Greenfield’s post, this is the line every one must grasp:

It’s a matter of simple math that as the population most likely to commit terrorist acts increases, so do the acts themselves.

I went back to our archives to see when I first heard anyone suggest a MORATORIUM on Muslim immigration and want to give a shout-out to former Virginia Congressman Virgil Goode who saw the San Bernardino slaughter coming 9 years ago!  Learn about how the politically correct harpies at the Washington Post treated him then.  His position, in support of a moratorium on legal (Muslim) immigration to America cost him his seat.  We told you more about him here in 2010.

Political correctness is dead! Everyone of you must start saying the ‘M’ word!  MORATORIUM!  Moratorium on Muslim migration to America, NOW!

Thank you Mr. Goode!  Goode is a Trump supporter in Virginia today!

Brigitte Gabriel on refugees: They are coming to your neighborhood…

Posted by Ann Corcoran on September 24, 2015

One of our readers alerted me to this excellent interview on Newsmax TV of Brigitte Gabriel, ACT for America president and founder, who discusses the refugee resettlement crisis that America faces on the Steve Malzberg show with guest host Dennis Michael Lynch.

Many of our readers are familiar with the work of Dennis Michael Lynch because he traveled around the country a few years ago with his shocking documentary film They come to America.’

Watch the interview below.  The working group she mentions is here.

Vast majority of US Muslims are Democrats, so why would Marco Rubio want more?

Posted by Ann Corcoran on September 23, 2015

Julia Hahn, who has been doing a fantastic job at Breitbart on the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program has another good article yesterday entitled, ‘REPORT: MUSLIMS ARE THE FASTEST GROWING IMMIGRANT COMMUNITY‘  (hat tip: Cathy).

Here is how she begins (with some much-needed data!):

Zuckerberg

Trump, never shy to speak up, said in August that the billionaire Facebook founder and No Borders advocate, Mark Zuckerberg, had his own personal US Senator—Marco Rubio. http://www.newsmax.com/Headline/donald-trump-marco-rubio-mark-zuckerberg-immigration/2015/08/18/id/670708/

“Muslims are the fastest growing bloc of immigrants, according to new census data published by the Center for Immigration Studies.

The report, which analyzes data from American Community Survey (ACS), finds that the foreign-born population in the U.S. hit a new record high 42.4 million in July 2014.

The report details that some of “the sending countries with the largest percentage increases in the number of immigrants living in the United States since 2010 were Saudi Arabia (up 93 percent); Bangladesh (up 37 percent); Iraq (up 36 percent); Egypt (up 25 percent); Pakistan, India, and Ethiopia (all up 24 percent); Nigeria and Ghana (both up 21 percent).”

“In contrast to most sending regions and countries, the number of immigrants from Europe and Canada declined,” the report notes.

As Breitbart News has previously documented, every year the United States voluntarily imports more than a quarter of a million– or 280,000– Muslim migrants. This number includes 117,423 migrants who were permanently resettled with Legal Permanent Resident status, as well as an additional 122,921 temporary Muslim workers and foreign students, and 39,932 Muslim refugee and asylees. This means that each year, the U.S. admits a number of Muslim migrants larger in size than the entire population of Des Moines, Iowa.”

Readers, although the number of refugees and asylees is lower than some other categories, remember that they are eligible for all forms of welfare immediately upon arrival as compared to those who entered under other legal immigration programs.  They also get a federal resettlement contracting agency to hold their hands as they sign up, so they are much more costly to the US taxpayer.

What is up with Rubio?

Muslim immigrants (like most immigrants) are going to vote for Democrats, so why should Senator Marco Rubio be open to inviting more to America?   On the Syrian issue he squished out here earlier this month by saying he was “open” to taking in Syrians Muslims who are now swamping Europe.

Hahn continues at Breitbart:

According to Pew Research, only 11 percent of Muslim Americans identify as Republican or leaning-Republican, making them one of the most reliable Democrat voting blocs in the country.

[….]

Despite the fact only 11 percent of Muslim voters say that they “lean” Republican, many Republican presidential candidates would like to see the number of Muslim immigrants expanded even further.

For instance, GOP presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)—whose campaign predicts he will be in first place by February—has introduced a new foreign worker bill which would substantially increase Muslim immigration. His bill, known as the I-Squared bill, has been described as the “gold standard of high-tech reform,” by billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s immigration lobbying group.

[….]

In addition, Rubio has also his argued that the United States should increase the number of poor Muslim migrants the United States admits as refugees— on top of the tens of thousands already admitted each year. Experts project that the cost of admitting just ten thousand additional refugees will cost U.S. taxpayers $6.5 billion dollars.

There is much more, continue reading here.

I have a hunch that Fox News is hankering for a Rubio/Fiorina ticket in 2016 (or at least that could be Fox owner Rupert Murdoch’s dream team), here.  Both could be counted on to do as they are told and support bringing in cheap immigrant labor for big business, something Murdoch has been openly supporting.

Merkel blasts anti-immigrant rioters, Hollande wrings his hands

Posted by Ann Corcoran on August 25, 2015

Invasion of Europe news…..

Update:  Merkel suspends EU rules so that more Syrians can STAY!

Have a look at the latest from Europe.  German Chancellor Angela Merkel harangues German citizens concerned about the future of their culture and country and socialist French President Francois Hollande says ‘golly gee, guess we better do something.’  What the heck!  They have been doing nothing to stop the tide of illegal aliens (mostly Muslims from Africa and the Middle East) in to Europe and they wonder why this crisis is escalating!

Merkel and Hollande

Don’t count on Merkel and Hollande to save Europe!

Stop the (damn) boats!  They should have listened to Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott months ago.  I personally think it is too late now!

Readers! Don’t let it become too late for America!

From Bloomberg Business:

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande condemned anti-immigrant riots in Germany, while pressing all European Union countries to help deal with the continent’s tide of refugees.

Meeting for the first time after the political summer break, the leaders of Europe’s two biggest economies elevated the refugee crisis to a top priority Monday, placing it alongside challenges such as the conflict in Ukraine.

“There are moments in European history when we face exceptional circumstances, and these are exceptional circumstances that will last,” Hollande said alongside Merkel before they met for talks in Berlin. “So rather than wait and then cope on a day-to-day basis, we must get organized and strengthen our policies.”

There is much more, but no time to snip it.  Please read it all, here.

Be sure to see the part of the story where the ‘refugee’ from Afghanistan says he is more scared in Germany than he was in Afghanistan!  So, what does that tell you about what sort of an ‘asylum seeker’ he really is?  He is just one more economic migrant as are most of those flooding in to Europe.

IBD Opinion: Trump would crack down on Muslim immigration

Posted by Ann Corcoran on August 23, 2015

Presidential candidate Donald Trump hasn’t said much on the subject, but from personal experience I know the subject interests him.

Trump in Alabama

I’ve been told to watch Trump’s Alabama speech, but have not had time yet while traveling. See it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPWERFt-gf8

Here is a hopeful-sounding opinion piece from Investors Business Daily from a few days ago.

Muslim immigration is a national security issue (where have I heard that before!):

Border Security: There are two ways Islamofascists plan to conquer America — one by violent jihad, the other by mass immigration, or “al-hijrah.” Our president has aided the latter. Donald Trump wants to stop it.

Lost in all the coverage of the GOP presidential hopeful’s plan to seal the Mexican border is his proposal to curb Muslim immigration, which Obama is dangerously abetting through liberalized refugee programs. In fact, this administration has been ushering in immigrants from predominantly Muslim countries at the rate of more than 100,000 a year.

Citing national security, Trump would stop the flood of immigrants from Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Syria and other Muslim countries posing a terrorist risk.

“Additionally,” he said in his five-page immigration reform proposal, “we need to stop giving legal immigrant visas to people bent on causing us harm.”

“From the 9/11 hijackers to the Boston bombers and many others, our immigration system is being used to attack us,” he added.

Trump is right. This is a national security issue. Importing more hard-core Somali families and male Saudi students raises our risks of being attacked.

There is more, go here.

At least he is willing to talk about it which is more than can be said of any other Presidential candidate!  Oops!  Except Rand Paul who a couple of years ago thrilled me by speaking out on the refugee program (after those Iraqi refugee terrorists were found living in his home town of Bowling Green, KY).  Senator Paul wanted to know why we were bringing all these refugees in from countries like Iraq and signing them up for welfare.  To follow Paul on the subject, type Rand Paul into our search function and see his ups and downs on the subject over the last few years.  (No time to find the links for you while still traveling.)
