Not just in America: Statue of Polish king who saved Europe from the Muslim horde desecrated

The other September 11th….

GoV:

Austria is about to celebrate the 334th anniversary of the breaking of the Siege of Vienna, which took place on September 11-12, 1683. The force that rode to the relief of Vienna was led by King Jan (John) III Sobieski of Poland, who later became known as the “Hero of Vienna”. [Also called “the hammer of the Turks”—ed]

On the night of September 11 the king arrived with his troops at the summit of the Kahlenberg, the wooded hill that overlooks Vienna. Early the following morning he led his men in a charge down the hill and routed the Turks before the Gates of Vienna, saving the city.

Last night the statue of King Jan III Sobieski on the Kahlenberg was vandalized and damaged.

Continue here.

Over three hundred years ago a horrific battle saved Europe from becoming a Muslim continent, but alas today, except for the Poles (and a few other countries of Eastern Europe) who do remember history, Europe will surely fall without a whimper through the Hijra—the migration.

Just a reminder that Donald Trump at least knew something about history when he traveled to Poland in July, here.

The “merciless four” EU countries whose leaders do get it!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on August 30, 2017

See my previous post for background on my title!

Here is the title of this EU Bulletin story:

The Merciless Four Strike Again: Visegrad Group Sticks to “Zero Refugee Policy”

Poland and Hungary are still sticking to their unwillingness to accept any refugees despite the busy migrant relocations going on in the rest of the bloc.

Both countries are still refusing to take part in the EU-mandated resettlement despite the fact that the European Commission has initiated an infringement procedure against Warsaw, Budapest and Prague for “non-compliance” with their legal obligations on relocation.

-

Two years ago the Polish people began to let it be known that they wouldn’t be pressured in to taking the EU’s migrant boat people. http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/polands-anti-immigrant-feeling-pure-hate-or-fleeting-backlash-1275151419

Polish Minister of the Interior and Administration, Mariusz Blaszczak, informed Brussels that Poland has applied for cancellation of the infringement procedure.

Mr Blaszczak reiterated his country’s position when he said that “stating that the relocation system will heal the refugee problem is false, it’s a lie. EU policy is harmful, not to say suicidal, as regards open borders, ”adding that “Poland will not accept any refugees.” He also said that Poland did not agree that the Treaty grants the Commission rights to interfere in the national powers with regard to security, integration and social issues.

“Paris, Stockholm, Brussels, Berlin, Manchester, Barcelona. How many more European cities must be still attacked by terrorists to make European Union wake up?

To make the European Commission finally admit that ‘blindly’ accepting everyone who reaches Europe’s coast is like looping a rope around Europe’s neck,” Mr. Blaszczak pointed out.

All four Visegrad countries – Hungary, Poland and the Czech and Slovak Republics – have joined their forces against the EU’s 2015 migrant resettlement program that sought to resettle 160,000 refugees across EU states.

Does Poland permit more free speech than the US?

Posted by Ann Corcoran on August 25, 2017

I’m beginning to think so!  Look at this photo (once again the Poles are saying NO to Muslim migrants moving to Poland).

With the anti-free speech climate in the US as it is right now, any group with this banner would be vilified in the mainstream media (with the help of the SPLC!).

Barcelona: “Clash of civilizations” says Polish interior minister

Posted by Ann Corcoran on August 19, 2017

Invasion of Europe news….

From the New York Daily News yesterday:

Poland’s interior minister says “Europe should wake up” after the Barcelona attack and realize it’s dealing with a “clash of civilizations” that proves his government’s point that accepting migrants is a tragedy for Europe.

Mariusz Blaszczak says Friday his country is safe because “we do not have Muslim communities which are enclaves, which are a natural support base for Islamic terrorists.”

The ruling Law and Justice party has taken a strong anti-migrant stance, refusing to accept any refugees in a European Union resettlement plan, creating tensions with Brussels.

Blaszczak insisted late Thursday on state TVP that Warsaw will not succumb to EU pressure because it is putting Poland’s security needs first.

He said: “The refugee resettlement system is a system that is encouraging millions of people to come to Europe.”

The logic of his remarks is inescapable.

The siege of Vienna was remembered in Poland yesterday

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 7, 2017

Not overlooked by Breitbart reporter Oliver Lane was the symbolism of the location chosen for one of President Trump’s stops during his historic trip to Warsaw to defend western civilization.  And, although not as important as his speech, this was delicious!

Trump and The Hammer: King Jan (John) III Sobieski

From Breitbart:

President Donald Trump’s first photo-call in Poland after his arrival in Air Force One was with President Andrzej Duda and saw him sat beside an oil painting of a prominent figure in Polish history and folklore — the 17th-century king who kicked Islam out of Central Europe and is remembered as “the Hammer of the Turks”.

[….]

It may be seen as a remarkable coincidence, therefore, that of all the rooms and of all the paintings, they chose to sit President Trump besides a portrait of one of Poland’s best-known warrior kings. King Jan (John) III Sobieski is today remembered and celebrated in Poland, and elsewhere in Central Europe, for his pivotal role at the Battle of Vienna in September 1683.

At the culmination of the two-month siege of Vienna by the forces of the Ottoman Turkish Empire, Sobieski led an army to relieve the city. Despite leading a force significantly smaller than the invading Ottomans, the coalition of Polish and Germanic troops staged one of, if not the largest, cavalry charge in the history of warfare and defeated the Ottoman army — ending centuries of Islamic attacks and invasions reaching the heart of Europe.

In today’s Poland, concern over the place of Islam in Europe continues — and the nation’s strong opposition to mass migration from non-Europeans has caused enduring friction with leaders in Brussels and Berlin, who are fully dedicated to open borders.

More here.

If Polish and other Eastern European leaders remember history, why don’t the Germans, French and Brits see that the enemy is already within their gates?

News to watch: Trump to visit “right-tilting” Poland as first stop in Europe this week

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 5, 2017

As you all know Eastern European countries including Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland are so far holding firm in their resistance to accepting Muslim migrants who are presently flooding in to Italy and Greece.

And, why should they open their country when the EU has been so foolish in allowing the invasion which began years ago and could have been stopped in its infancy?

Much symbolism about Trump’s visit to Poland including his planned speech at the location of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 when the Polish resistance attempted to regain control of their city from the Nazis/Germans.

So this week Donald Trump is off to the G-20, but plans a major speech in Warsaw tomorrow as his first stop—the Poles are overjoyed as the UK and Germany stew.

There are so many stories about this news, but here is the New York Times title and a bit of their story:

Europe Will Be Watching Trump’s Visit to a Right-Tilting Poland

WARSAW — Polish officials are bragging: On President Trump’s way to the Group of 20 summit this week, he is coming to Poland first, choosing it over more powerful American allies like Germany, France or Britain.

“We have a new success, Trump’s visit,” Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the head of the governing party and Poland’s true power broker, said in a speech last week. Mr. Trump’s visit, he said, is causing other European countries to “envy” Poland.

[….]

For Mr. Trump, the stop in Poland on Thursday is something of an appetizer before the main course, a visit to a friendly right-wing, populist government with a kindred approach on any number of key issues, from immigration to global warming and coal mining.

[….]

….he will deliver what the White House is describing as a major speech in the Warsaw square that was the epicenter of the Warsaw Uprising during World War II.

“He will praise Polish courage throughout history’s darkest hour, and celebrate Poland’s emergence as a European power,” Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster, Mr. Trump’s national security adviser, said during a White House briefing last week.

Saving Poland from social catastrophe

Poles save Christian Europe in another of history’s darkest hours: Ottoman Turks (the Muslims) were ultimately defeated at the Gates of Vienna in 1683. Polish Hussars, pictured here, pushed the Turks back on SEPTEMBER 11-12, 1683 freeing the Austrians, sparing Germany and saving Europe for Christendom. Gates of Vienna blog posted a good report on what happened here a few years ago: http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2006/09/other-september-11th.html . Unfortunately, the Muslims are back today as so-called “refugees” being welcomed to take Europe without a fight.

And, here is the Associated Press:

Under Kaczynski’s party [Law and Justice party leader, Jaroslaw Kaczynski], Poland has criticized EU key members, mainly Germany, and has insisted on having more decision-making powers. At the same time Warsaw says Britain is among its main partners in the EU.

In a speech in the central town of Przysucha, Kaczynski also reiterated that Poland is refusing to go along with an EU plan to relocate Muslim migrants from Italy and Greece. Italy has demanded more help from other EU nations as it copes with tens of thousands of arrivals of desperate migrants on its shores.

Kaczynski argued the anti-migrant policy was saving Poland from a “social catastrophe” and a decline in living standards.

So why isn’t that clear to all of  Europe?  Have they forgotten history?

The Poles saved Europe from becoming a Muslim continent in 1683 at the Gates of Vienna.

I would love to see the heathen (media) rage if Trump should mention that bit of history!

EU launches legal action against 3 countries refusing refugees

Posted by Ann Corcoran on June 14, 2017

Invasion of  Europe news….

President Trump is going to Poland on July 6th. Time could not be better! (Trump visiting PNA in September 2016.) http://www.nydailynews.com/newswires/news/world/poland-hails-upcoming-trump-visit-huge-success-article-1.3240554

Here is a short bit at the Independent:

The European Commission says it is launching legal action against the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland for failing to take in refugees under a legally binding sharing plan agreed by the European Union.

The Commission said Tuesday in a statement that it has repeatedly urged the three countries to relocate refugees or at least pledge to do so.

But it said they have not taken action “in breach of their legal obligations,” and that it “has decided to launch infringement procedures” on Wednesday.

A longer article at The Guardian says this.  Sure looks like nobody wants to take in more refugees. Gee, I wonder why!

Out of 160,000 refugees due to be taken under the scheme agreed in 2015, only 20,869 have been relocated. In theory, countries can be fined for every refugee in the quota they fail to accept.

Lots of ‘fining’ coming soon….

A heroine for our times: Trump should invite Polish Prime Minister to White House!

Posted by Ann Corcoran on May 26, 2017

If Donald Trump (the real Donald Trump ) is still a free man!, he should invite Beata Szydło to a meeting in the Oval Office followed by a lavish state dinner at the White House.

He would send a message to the wimps in Europe, to the cheapskates at NATO, and remind voters here of his promises to keep America safe (not to mention thrilling hardworking/patriotic Polish Americans!).

Did you know that RRW has a facebook page?  It has 44,000 likes and this simple message, as of this morning, has reached over 50,000 people.  I have to admit (and apologize) that I stink at commenting and responding to comments, but I truly appreciate all of you who forward my page to your friends.

This (below) is a screenshot of the message that had been up for 24 hours as of last night when I captured it.  Thanks to whoever it was that drafted the message that has been making the rounds on twitter and facebook.

Poland standing firm: Will not take refugee “quota” they were previously assigned

Posted by Ann Corcoran on May 18, 2017

European nations on the edges of Europe have taken the full brunt of the migrant flood to Europe.

The fault lies in the fact that the EU leadership never had the guts to turn the boats back to Turkey or the North African coast when the invasion began in earnest several years ago.  Additionally the invasion of Europe from N. Africa accelerated when several European countries, with the Obama Administration’s help (Hillary!), destabilized Libya.

Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło. If Donald Trump really wanted to change the subject, go on the offense, and at the same time encourage his base, he should invite Beata to the White House! Don’t you find it interesting that fearless women opposition leaders in Germany, France and Poland are so vocal about defending against the invasion of Europe?

So the people of Poland elected a government that has steadfastly said, this is not our problem! Why should we welcome the mostly Muslim migrants when statistics show that doing so results in increased turmoil and violence (and expense for taxpayers!)?  See map here.

Here is the latest news on efforts to pressure Poland and Hungary.

Always remember that it was a Polish king who saved Europe from a Muslim takeover in 1683!  Maybe the Poles have a long memory (unlike the French who also once in history turned back the invasion).

You go girl!

UK Independent:

Poland’s Prime Minister has claimed the country “cannot accept refugees” as the EU threatens legal action against nations failing to comply with quotas.

Alongside Hungary and Austria, it is one of only three countries not to have relocated a single refugee, “in breach of their legal obligations” and commitments.

Dimitris Avramopoulos: Do as I say!

“This cannot be the responsibility of just a few member states – this must be shared be all,” said Dimitris Avramopoulos, the European Commissioner for migration.

But Prime Minister Beata Szydło told a press conference there had been no formal agreement to compulsory quotas, which Hungary and Poland voted against.

“A critical attitude towards the mechanism of migrant relocation is becoming increasingly widespread in the European Union,” she claimed, according to a translation by state broadcaster Poland Radio.

“Poland cannot accept refugees.”

The EU originally set the goal for the distribution of migrants at 160,000 by September 2017.  They will be lucky to seed 40,000 by later this year.

But fewer than 18,500 people have been resettled so far and while Poland has been assigned 6,200 refugees, none have been admitted.

The country committed to taking in up to 10,000 migrants at the start of the crisis but after winning the 2015 elections, the populist Law and Justice party (PiS) reversed the decision.

Ireland not (yet) taking its required quota of refugees under demands from EU

Posted by Ann Corcoran on May 17, 2017

But, yuk, they promised to take 200 migrants from the “French migrant camp in Calais.”  21 have arrived already!

Don’t you love it the way the media makes it sound like the camp at Calais was just one more sanctioned migrant camp.  It was not! It was a location in France across the English Channel from the UK where illegal aliens built a make-shift camp as they attempted to break in to the UK.

Lesson here is make demands long enough and you will be ‘welcomed’ to the UK, in this case Ireland!

The French migrant camp at Calais (aka The Jungle) before it was closed and the illegal aliens dispersed. At another time in history they would be recognized for what they are—invaders. Photo and story: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-france-migrant-camp-calais-20161024-story.html

Invasion of Europe news….

From RTE News (Irish public radio):

Ireland is being urged to resolve security issues with Italy to allow for the arrival of more migrants.  [Good for them they are at least using the word ‘migrants’ and not automatically calling them ‘refugees!’—ed]

The Department of Justice has previously said that due to issues with the Italian authorities surrounding the security assessment of migrants, relocations from Italy have yet to commence for many countries, including Ireland.

But today the European Commission called on the Government to find ways to overcome these hurdles.

I didn’t get around to posting this map and story last week. The point of it is that Poland doesn’t take refugees and therefore has zero Islamic terrorist incidents (coincidence?). Maybe someone in Ireland should see it! Or, maybe they have already and thus the foot dragging.  http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2017/05/the_secret_of_polands_antiterror_success.html

Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos said “I call on Ireland and Estonia to find mutually acceptable working arrangements with Italy on security interviews in the way that for example The Netherlands, France and Greece have worked out successfully.”

[….]

The latest figures from the Department of Justice show that 21 unaccompanied minors, previously resident in the French migrant camp in Calais, have arrived in Ireland and are in the care of the child and family agency Tusla.

The Government has committed to taking up to 200 unaccompanied minors who were previously resident in Calais.

[….]

Two European Council decisions adopted in September 2015 resulted in member states committing to relocate 160,000 asylum-seekers from Italy and Greece by September 2017, but as of last Thursday only 18,418 had been moved.

Under the programme, the Government pledged to accept 4,000 people.
