It’s Sunday morning, is your church reaching into taxpayers’ pockets “for the children?”

Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 20, 2014

…..it is time to find out!

Decades ago ‘great minds’ in the leadership of the hard Left (ensconced in private foundations) kicked off their “greening of the churches” propaganda campaign.  It’s a long story, but I saw it up close and personal.  The concept was that the way to reach Americans and change their minds, bringing them around to the Leftist view of the world on the environment (social issues too!), was to reach them in their churches.   Of course, good people, church-going Americans, would be concerned about saving the Earth—right!

I expect at the same time they also began infiltrating the churches and synagogues with the concept of a borderless world to save the poor and downtrodden. What Christian or Jew wouldn’t be moved by the idea of helping the poor?

Unfortunately, they (Communists, Socialists, Leftwingers, whatever you want to call them) have now gone a step further, past the point of simple education and propaganda, and have figured out how to fund their Leftist political worldview with your tax dollars through your own churches and religious institutions—supposedly to save the CHILDREN!

Additionally, some naive and unprincipled Republicans don’t even see a problem with giving your money to their “cause.”  In fact, George Bush lit the fire on the run on the US Treasury with his 2001 Faith-based neighborhood initiative.

Your money goes to “community organizers!”  Remember ACORN!  This is the same as funding ACORN whose job it was/is to get the “poor” signed up for every welfare program they can find and at the same time register them to vote!  The only difference is that the “refugee” contractors work with immigrants but do the exact same thing!

The “Religious” federal contractors!

We have written non-stop at RRW for years about the “religious Left” represented by the major federal refugee resettlement contractors.  We try to name them as often as we can!   Here are all the contractors (3 are secular, so we will leave them out for now, but know that they too are getting big bucks for ‘the children.’)

***The contractors (we may have to start adding grant recipient big dogs Baptist Children and Family Services to our list):

We have written ad nauseum about the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS), but know that Church World Service representing some mainline Protestant Churches are in on the scheme (by the way, you may know them as the “Crop Walk” organizers).

The Presbyterians have a statement, here, in support of the border invasion and advising church members what to do.  Methodists in Baltimore got a cool $2.4 million here to house ‘unaccompanied minors.’

Episcopal Migration Ministries has its hands in Caesar’s pockets too.  Here is a recent article on the Episcopal involvement in the recent border crisis.  This reference to Abbott House in Irvington, New York leads us to this recent federal grant of just short of $3 million for the children.

Also, World Relief Corporation (headquartered in Baltimore, MD just like LIRS) is really World Relief National Association of Evangelicals, in case any of you Evangelicals think your churches aren’t into this racket!

And then there is the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, here, which wants money, money, money, and any critics of robbing the Treasury investigated by the Southern Poverty Law Center!

Action Alert!

It is impossible for me to keep up with all the money the contractors are getting from the US Treasury and it is even more difficult to track all of the money going to subcontractors and individual churches, so I recommend that you look carefully at what your own church is up to in helping destroy American sovereignty and our way of life and spread the word in your own faith community!

And, also let NumbersUSA know so they can add your town to their fantastic interactive map!

Second largest religious tradition by state; Islam in 20 states

Posted by Ann Corcoran on June 24, 2014

This is old news by a few weeks, but Debbie sent me this very informative map today that was published at The Blaze a couple of weeks ago and I think it’s a good addition to our ‘where to find information’ category.    And, perhaps a good companion to our refugee statistics regarding top languages spoken by refugees admitted to the US (Arabic is the number one language of refugees arriving in the US right now).

By the way, the US State Department does track the religions of refugees they admit to the US, but does not make that information available to the general public.

Will Islam take over America? Very likely in your children’s lifetime says author

Posted by Ann Corcoran on December 6, 2012

Many Muslim leaders have made it plain that they plan to subjugate America under Islam. We should take them seriously.  [Kilpatrick]

The Catholic World Report published an interview with author William Kilpatrick who says the US is on the same river as Europe, just a little farther from the falls.

What Kilpatrick doesn’t tell us in this interview (perhaps it’s in his book) is that the US Conference of Catholic Bishops eagerly and apparently without complaint is taking federal money to help increase the Muslim population in the US through the refugee resettlement program, which ultimately, I believe, will hasten our trip over the falls.

Here is one portion of the interview by Catholic World Report.  Hat tip: Janet

First the introduction of Kilpatrick:

William Kilpatrick is an author and lecturer who taught for many years at Boston College and whose articles on Islam have appeared in numerous publications, including Investor’s Business Daily, FrontPage Magazine, the National Catholic Register, and World magazine. He has written several books, including Psychological Seduction and Why Johnny Can’t Tell Right from Wrong, and his most recent book, Christianity, Islam and Atheism: The Struggle for the Soul of the West, will be released next week from Ignatius Press. Kilpatrick recently spoke with Catholic World Report about Islam and its growing significance for the West.

The question that interested me (emphasis mine):

CWR: Many parts of Europe appear to be succumbing, in one way or another, to Islamization. What about the United States?

Kilpatrick: The US is on the same river as Europe, but not as close to the falls. It appears, however, that it’s trying hard to catch up. During the last three administrations, Muslim activists have worked hard to gain positions of influence in the government, and with great success. Muslim activist groups convinced the Department of Homeland Security to delete words like “jihad,” “Islamist,” and “terrorist” from their lexicon. In compliance with Muslim demands the Justice Department ordered the military to delete from its training manuals any suggestion that there is a connection between Islam and violence. And the State Department played a major role in enabling the Muslim Brotherhood to come to power in North Africa. Moreover, the State Department has been working with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation* for more than a year toward the goal of establishing anti-blasphemy laws or something akin to them. If the effort succeeds, criticism of Islam will then be a crime—as it already in many European countries. Meanwhile, a steady flow of Saudi money helps to ensure that college students learn only an Islam-friendly version of history and current events.

At first glance it would appear that Islamization is unlikely here because the Muslim population is small and, unlike Europe, America is a churchgoing nation with a healthy birthrate. But there is still reason for alarm. Although Christianity is in much better shape in America than in Europe, there has been a significant decline in the number of those who self-identify as Christians and a significant increase in the number of atheists, agnostics, and those who identify with no religion. Moreover, if American Christians haven’t been able to resist the growth of anti-religious secularism, how likely is it that they will be able to resist the efforts of dedicated and well-funded cultural jihadists?

In addition, America’s healthy birthrate is not as healthy as it first appears, because 41 percent of those births now occur out of wedlock. Fifty-five percent of Hispanic children are born out of wedlock, as are 72 percent of black children. As they grow older, children born into unstable families are more likely to see the structured life of Islam as a solution rather than as a problem.

Islamization is not simply a numbers game. For an analogy, consider that homosexuals make up only 2 to 3 percent of the population, but have nevertheless exerted an outsize influence on public policy and school curriculums. Of course, they have been able to do this with the help of liberal elites in media, academia, the courts, and the entertainment industry. But remember that Islamic activists have the backing of the very same people.

Our subjugation will be the result of CULTURAL JIHAD!

Islamization won’t happen tomorrow in America, but there is a distinct possibility that our children will grow up in an America dominated by Islam. It’s not necessary to be a majority or anywhere near a majority in order to dominate. Throughout history Islamic warriors have managed to subdue populations much larger than their own. If America is eventually subjugated, however, it won’t be the result of armed jihad, but of cultural jihad—the steady incremental advance of sharia law through agitation, propaganda, lawfare, political activism, and infiltration of key governmental and educational institutions. Many Muslim leaders have made it plain that they plan to subjugate America under Islam. We should take them seriously.

Hopefully Kilpatrick addresses the Bishops more thoroughly in the book, but here is his brief mention of them in this interview.

Do the Bishops know who they are dialoguing with?

The political nature of Islam ought to give pause to Catholics who think they can dialogue with Muslims in the same way they dialogue with Baptists or Jews. A recently concluded series of Catholic-Muslim dialogues sponsored by the USCCB highlights the problem. It turns out that the bishops’ dialogue partners are all members of Muslim activist groups with links to the Muslim Brotherhood. One of the counterparts, Sayyid Syeed, is a prominent figure in the Islamic Society of North America—a group that was designated as an unindicted co-conspirator in a massive terrorist funding scheme. One wonders if the bishops fully understand who they are dealing with.

I’ll be adding Kilpatrick’s book to my reading list—right after I finish The Hijra.

* Just mentioned the OIC yesterday, here.
